Masked IP

I have 2 IP addresses2603:80A0:1700:5030:367F:E838:983C:1ACB2603:80A0:1700:5030:3E3E:EC37:E8D5:3640with no Name, Mac ID or Type.Explain? I believe it's been accessed thru a masked ip. They are wiping out my bandwidth. I even changed the SSID and whoever it is got onto it again.

G34 had 14.5 VDC to the coaxial connection

As the title says, DC voltage was applied to the coaxial connection. Problems that have occurred, download speeds drop to 0 - 2 MBPS, the 2.4Gig connection to my thermostat loses connection. All these are intermittent problem, sometimes it works wonderful other time not so. Usually unplugging and plugging back in after a few minutes clears the problem.  Have run this through ChatGTP,  it suggest that some damage is likely to have occurred.

Unable to login to the app or register and create a new account

I downloaded the Surboard app and try to register but I was never given the chance to create a password. When I try to access the 192.168.0.1 it asks for an email and password. How do I create a password so I can access the settings in my modem/router? Thanks.

New G34 drops connection every hour or so Spectrum

Spectrum has me unplugging the G34 from power at least twice a day. They came out and said it’s the Arris issue?

WiFi Cable Modem - Renamed - 2 Networks now

I set up Surfboard G36, then renamed my WiFi.  Now I have 2 networks.  Most devices are on the new network, however when I tried to set up my outdoor irrigation controller it only recognized the 1st WiFi - am I supposed to have 2 networks?  Some devices on one, and some on the other?  Two different passwords.   OR can I DELETE the renamed one and just have the original.

SBG7600AC2 online light not stable

Having an issue with my modem that was working fine a couple of days ago. Moved into a new place and went to set up the WiFi. Contacted Xfinity and got it set up. They had to send someone out here because the modem wouldn’t activate. He got that activated because the coax wasn’t in the right port on their end but now it’s activated and they can see the modem on their end.we are still having the issue where even though they can see the modem and are sending signal to it, it’s not receiving the signal so our online light just keeps blinking. Every so often the up/down light also starts blinking again. The WiFi pops up in our settings on our phones but says there is no connection and doesn’t load any pages. we have been in contact with Xfinity support and they have strongly been suggesting that it’s an issue with the router which I don’t understand if it has been working fine just a few days ago at the last place. Any help?

Unable to access web gui portal to enable wifi on my G34

My router lost wifi (ethernet working fine) and after restarting numerous times, still will not come online.Tried accessing 192.168.0.1 but “refuses to connect” across multiple browsers.Tried accessing via app which tells me I need to enable wifi via the browser.Support page on Arris site returns an error (!)I’ll trash this thing if I can’t get a solid answer stat…

Cannot get into Arris Surfboard login.

I can’t get into the Arris - Login.  I activated the Surf Board mobile app, but it only asked for my email, and did not ask for a password.  When I access the site, it asks for an email, and won’t let me type admin for a user and use password to login.  How do I find the password?  I tried doing a factory reset as well.

Surfboard App. does not all speeds past 100mps for my ax7800 satellite's

Forgive me if this topic has been covered but could find no other topic on it already.I have a G-36 cable tri band wifi modem (owned) in bridge mode so that I can try to take advantage of the 250mps speed service from Mediacom. I have 3 W30 satellite's setup using the mobile app. I have connected the main w30 to act as the router to the other two. When I log into the WEB interface of my G-36 I see this:  I do not seem to be able to get more than 100mps to any of my devices (ckd using speed test on my mobile phone).  Can anyone tell me if I have this bridge mode setup properly in order to get past 100mps?  Is this a limitation of the Web interface? (it only shows connection speeds of 10-100-1000)Trying to use connection speed of 1000mps and checking auto config. will not save in the GUI interface. NOT using the auto config checked with 1000mps causes the W30’s to go offline or not transmit wifi.

SBG7600AC2 WiFi intermittency

WiFi signal is intermittent. Connections are fine using direct Ethernet. I’ve restarted multiple times and have left it unplugged for 48 hours. Signal is there, but intermittency increases with time. Anything I’m missing?

What to do when G-36 does not even find other channels using troubleshooter

Just purchased a USED Arris G-36 and initial setup was fine. I had internet connection and WIFI going to all my smart devices. 2 days later, I have NO WIFI coming from the modem it seems?   Logged into modem and used the (Spectrum Analyzer) and it shows NO other channels/Mac SSID etc. around me in the hood. I have ethernet connected to my desktop and this works fine. I have already done the following:> Called Mediacom to ensure setup and that modem shows up on network.(Logs from modem show initialization and also shows them re-initializing on day I called them 2 days later after losing radio signals on device.)> Power reset> Modem restart of WIFI > Manual channel changes (still no connection to the smart devices)> Used EVERY option in Restart/Restore while logged into the modemDoes this likely mean the WIFI radio software/hardware is no good?  Should I return this as a defective modem? Or, is there something else anyone can suggest I try to get the wifi radio signals goi

Hi - I just bought and connected my G36 modem. I was able to connect all my devices except my Samsung SMART TV. My network isn’t even showing up on the list. I tried to add it and it still won’t show up.Any suggestions?

How to use 2.4g and 5g network at the same time on sbg7600ac2

i have a arris model# sbg7600ac2 i need to know how to use the 2.4ghz and 5ghz wi-fi at the same time. i have 5ghz for my pc and tvs in the house. i am trying to install a security system that runs on 2.4ghz how can i use both at the same time

cannot connect to many sites after installing G34

Connected to Spectrum, Activated modem, but now can only connect to certain websites. Google-  mail and news are ok, as are a few others.  Others sites like MSN, Steam, and most video sites if they do load,  buffer and stutter. this happens on all devices attached to my network, ethernet and wi-fi. very frustrating.
