SBG8300 Randomly Rebooting

For the last couple months (roughly 6 or so) my (refurbished) SBG8300 has been randomly rebooting. Sometimes it’s 2pm, sometimes it’s 10pm, on any given day. It’ll stay up for maybe 4-6 days and then all of the sudden reboot. I can confirm this is what’s happening because the uptime timer restarts. My internet will drop and then my router will have the solid blue light on the internet icon. The reboot takes 5-10 minutes to complete and then it’s back on like nothing ever happened. The device is already connected to a UPS and no other devices connected to it have ever had any power issues. My ISP is Xfinity (unfortunately no other options) and they’ve confirmed everything looks good on their end. We’ve done the whole song and dance of rebooting the signals and my router multiple times but it doesn’t change anything.I’ve been having this issue with this router for at least the last 6 months and have just been dealing with it since I’m no longer under warranty and unwilling to pay tech s

SBG3800 Web Manager and Surfboard App not showing all connections

I recently installed an SBG3800. The Surfboard Web Manager only shows 9 connected devices; the Surfboard Central iOS app shows 0 connections. I can see all 12 connections on the Fing app. I have tried restarting the modem. We just upgraded to an Arris G34 modem/router and now our Blink camera system won't connect. Keeps saying the password is wrong but it is 100% right. Ideas?

Ethernet not working when having to use VPN

I finally got the ethernet working, but it’s not working properly when I have to utilize VPN. When activating VPN, connection no longer works properly. I went to web interface and advanced->ALG→ and all security features to pass through are selected.

SBG7600AC2 OpenDNS setup

I tried configuring OpenDNS with my SBG7600AC2 gateway using the instructions provided. Under LAN settings, I checked the box to manually set the DNS addresses and them provided the primary and secondary DNS addresses for OpenDNS. The device restarted, I gave it plenty of time to take effect, etc. However, the test websites that OpenDNS is supposed to be filtering are not being filtered. My OpenDNS settings were working fine with the gateway that I owned previously (different brand/model).

I got a new G36 cable modem to replace another. Connected to laptops fine, can’t connect to HP Envy 4500. Setup wizard cannot connect. Network test results say I need to add the MAC address of the printer to the list of permitted devices. How do I do that?

how many antennas does the G54 have? what MIMO configuration does it offer?

For the price it has to offer 4x4 MIMO but the product page is awful. It doesn't even mention if it supports the 6Ghz frequency. There are Wi-Fi routers that support 2.4 and 5Ghz, and are Wi-Fi 7 so not having exact specifications specified on the product page does not make sense. The product page might as well just say “Here’s a modem. Give me money.” What justifies the price?

G34 Wifi and Ethernet slow speed

I bought the G34 to replace the old modem/router that I had because Xfinity assured me that was something wrong with it. Today I spent another 2 hours trying to fix the same issue, now with the G34, and had no luck. They say is an issue with the router so I’m here to see if there is any solution for this issue. Wifi Channel is NOT the issue. I went through many troubleshooting procedures and none of them work. My console is also having issues with the Nat-Type with both the routers I had.

sbg10 led lights never turn on

I just bought my modem and router combo. Plugged it in and trying to set it up. I plug in my Ethernet cable and it turns green and so I know that it is getting power how ever my led lights on front never turned on. Is this one just defective or am I doing something wrong?

Ethernet is not updating to 1000mbps on web interface and reverts to 10. Tried cat5 and 6 wires. No difference and this is connected directly to port 1. Wifi is great but Ethernet is only at 90.
