Hi! I have a new Arris G20 Surfboard Wi-Fi Cable Modem, I have been able to add all of my phones and laptops to the Wi-Fi, but not my HP Envy 4500 printer. I get the message your HP printer is unable to connect to your wireless router, and that I must add the MAC address of my printer to the list of permitted devices for my wireless router. How do I do that? Melanie

Same issue as a user posted a month ago regarding his 7400AC2. Wireless clients that are connected to 5G show in 2.4G client list. No 5G clients listed in 5G client list.

I cannot log into the admin interface, even after performing a reset. Several months ago, I lost connection to my wifi suddenly. It wasn’t an issue with my provider. I realized that my wifi name was showing up as the factory name, not the name I’d given it. I discovered I could use the factory default password and I was able to connect all my devices using that, but since then I haven’t been able to log into the admin interface. I’d like to change my network name and password. I tried doing a reset to see if that would allow me to use the default login credential and it still won’t work. What can I do to get into the admin interface to change the password and network name?

How to convert 5GHZ to 2.4 GHZ?? I am trying to connect my security camera that supports 2.4 GHZ.

Is there a software or firmware update? my Xfinita speed is high but download speeds are low, where in the Arris site do i fine or manage my divice?

All of a sudden I am unable to access the website (because it times out) for my email. I had no problem since I had the SBG8300 which I bought July 2023 until a couple days ago. The website for my email provider PA.NET is webmail.pa.net. After I installed a VPN (Nord VPN) I can access the website. Comcast is my internet provider. I checked with them and they saw no problems. I checked with PA.NET and they could not find any problem. I can get my email using comcast as a internet provider with no problem. I can get the email using Verizon on my cell phone when using only Verizon as the provider. When I use comcast through the SBG8300 on my cell phone the email times out. I use wireless WIFI. I tried hooking the computer directly to the SBG8300 and still had the same problem. I have tried 3 different computer and they all had the same problem. The only thing common with this problem is the SBG8300. I would appreciate if you could help me find a solution to this problem. I can be reached

I am STILL trying to get an answer to this and DO NOT send me to the chat as it “Currently Unavailable” I tried both my Macbook and my iPhone How do I register my Arris G34?!?!?!? I want a helpful answer. I paid for this I should be able to register it for the warranty or I will file a complaint with the appropriate govt agencies.

The Surfboard Central app has recommendation for network health. It indicatess some devices are connected with a low signal strength. Some listed devices are hardwired via ethernet cable. How can they havee a low signal strehgth??

Trying to connect WiFi to my computer and is asking for WPA2 enterprise credentials username password

I have a flashing blue light and a solid green wifi light on SBG8300. What does that mean abd how do I fix it? I already recycled power a few times, used reset button a few times, and replaced coax cable. Also called ISP and they said no problems on their end.

Xfinity said our Arris modem is only pushing out 800 mbps. Our back video camera fails based on the strength of the signal from the modem. Xfinity suggests we need a modem that can push out the 1100 mbps. Tested the video strength on the back camera which is 70 as compared to the front camera which is 84. Would appreciate keeping the Arris, we have been happy with our current unit. Our current Arris unit is SBG7400AC2 Thanks

My G34 gateway was rebooting a few times per week. Arris replaced the G34 and the problem persisted. I was also getting pixelation on my TV screen. Comcast detected a problem with my line and sent out a tech. The tech also saw some unusual errors on my line. The tech installed a MOCA filter on the coax line coming into my house. Since the filter was installed my Gateway has been stable for over 3 weeks and the TV picture is better. If you are having problems with your Arris gateway rebooting randomly then I suggest you get a MOCA filter installed.

My SGB10 modem is connecting to all my devices except my Chromebook book. My Chromebook keeps saying the network is out of range but the modem is only 4ft away from the Chromebook. I have Xfinity Wi-Fi, my fire stick, Roku and phone are all able to connect to the Wi-Fi. I bought a USB wireless adapter that goes up to 6g but still the Chromebook will not connect.

The doorbell camera will not connect to wifi. I need help configuring my Arris Surfboard SBG7600AC2 to work with Eufy Doorbell Camera. I have done extensive research to make sure all other potential issues are handled. In my research, I found specific guidance for configuring my router, however, after reviewing the Admin screens I can’t figure out how to apply the configuration details. I have a G36 Modem/Router. About a month or so ago, the front light on it went out. I still have access to WIFI. Should I be concerned? I also have 3 decco 6e mesh units inline. Thank you, Brian

I just bought my G34 off of Amazon. Got it set up and opened the website to establish my network. It took me to registration and then said its already registered? 🤔 and the 800# that the page gave to call for support then hangs up on me! 😠 Not a good way to start a relationship when I just decided to move to your company after Netgear send EOL notice for my last modem/router. So how do I get my purchase registered? ❓

My G34 GUI device list shows many devices which Windows 10 nmap shows are currently down, and at least one currently nmap up device doesn’t show. How does the G34 assemble its device list? Can I improve it?

No internet- Solid blue lights for online & WiFi. ISP came to house confirmed strong signals on all lines. I Factory reset the modem and lights never changed. Plugged into different outlet, same. Can not connect to internet, any assistance would be appreciated :)

Modem has strong signal but still not connecting. Cable company checked all wires and inputs and signal is strong. Blue stable light on for online & WiFi. Cable company also did factory reset, still not connecting to internet. Please help so I can trouble shoot as I work from home. thank you
