DG3450 User Manual?

I am looking for a full user manual for the DG3450 Digital Gateway Modem -- which my cable provider/ISP (Sparklight) just installed in my house. I have searched every nook and cranny of the ARRIS web site and there is no reference to the model number. On the web there is exists draft copies of a User Guide but it does not cover topics like Port Forwarding or DynamicDNS setup. Someone at ARRIS must know about this product.

SBG6900-ac original factory settings

Is someone able to provide the original settings from my SBG6900-AC gateway. I am trying to add a google nest thermostat through the app on my phone and it will not connect to my network but I connected to another phone as a hotspot and it connected and installed properly. I think I may have an issue with one of the settings even though I have several tablets, phones, TV and printer connected. Thanks.

My device was working I have a riutor an modem together ihave Comcast with it it was working fine then all the sudden the volume didn't work  I called Comcast an 4 people told me to do all stuff now nothing works cam u please help me get it hooked up again

On G34 failed connectivity test and frequent failed VoIP calls

Hi, I have a G34, which works fine for streaming and internet, but when I try and use “WiFi Calling” or a 4G cell extender (personal mini cell tower) I frequently have failed out going  call and missed incoming calls.  Only clue is that the G34 does not get any returns when it does the connectivity test.  The 4G cell extender is connected directly to my G4. Please Help!

Disable modem functionality on SBG6580

I have a SBG6580-0228 modem/wifi combo surfboard.  My internet provider (Spectrum) upgraded their service (300mb download & 10mb upload) and they sent me their modem.  Since my existing modem/wifi surfboard can only go up to 120mb download so I have to use their modem to take advantage of the faster speed.. Can I disable the modem functionality of my existing modem/wifi combo and only use the wifi functionality of it?  If so, how please? Thanks

AX013ANC Manual

Does anyone have a copy of the AX013ANC manual or a safe location where I can download one? I am trying to troubleshoot a AX013ANC box through Xfinity that has a solid orange showing which was not there previously. The box seems to be functioning, but the light concerns me.

VOIP on SBG6400

I have been running Vonage VOIP with no problems for a few years. Recently it has stopped working and seems to be an issue with the firewall blocking ports 5060/5061.VOIP works with firewall set to low, but not any of the higher settings.I have tried port forwarding which worked for a few days and then stopped working.Any suggestions on how to unblock those specific ports at a high firewall setting?guy

Router suddenly not reconizing MAC number of tablet

A tablet purchased a couple of months ago would not connect to the Aris Router reliably until I reserved an IP for it.  Since then I have twice had to change the reserved IP to  get it to connect because the Router sees the MAC address of the tablet as an unknown despite the fact that it corresponds to the reserved IP address.  Can anybody make snes of this?

Arris DG3270A connected to generator

I have Eastlink internet with an Arris DG3270A modem.  We recently had a hurricane knocking out our power for the next few days so I am running a generator but when I plug the modem into it I get connected with no internet.  I am assuming there is something before the modem that needs power as well.  But I can not find anything else in the house that it is connected to.  Can anyone confirm there is something else that may need power that I am just not seeing?  Thanks for any help.

SBG6900-AC firewall setting must be LOWest to work with Xfinity, iCloud email. Unacceptable!

This link:https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-port-25-no-longer-supportedExplains why Xfinity, Apple iCloud, and other email services NO LONGER SUPPORT SMTP email ports 25 and 110, for important security reasons.Instead, for years now, they have required using port 587 for SMTP.But the Arris SBG6900-AC gateway router firewall’s Medium and High security settings exclude port 587, forcing users to keep their firewalls always set at the LOWEST security level.This is unacceptable, and I’m surprised Arris hasn’t fixed this deficiency.Arris SBG6900-AC users deserve a control program update and/or firmware update, to enable port 587 in the Medium and High firewall security tables.

Cannot reset password without paying for support?

I received a suggestion from my password manager that, for security, my password for the Web settings for my modem SBG6580 should be changed. The modem is old and out of warranty but still working fine.There is not a hint about how change the password on the Arris settings site. I contacted support by phone and was told I need to pay for support for them to tell me how to change my password.Why could support not simply tell customers how to change their passwords? (I since Googled and found I have to wipe the modem.)Need I say how grasping and mean this is? True, this is an era of terrible cyberspace support but surely this is some kind of new low.

My current modem/wifi model is SBG6580-G228Do you know what are the download and upload speed for this model please? I lost the box that came with it so I don’t know this info. Also do you know the differences between my modem and the SBG6900-AC? Thanks

Is the Arris MVG468MQ router compatible with Verizon issued LTE Network Extender for better cell signal?

I was upgraded to Frontier fiber optics on July 14.2022. I previously had Frontier DSL/Broadband Max.I was issued a Network Extender through Verizon to boost my cell signal. It worked great with my DSL.Now...now it hasn't worked since I got Frontier fiber optics and a brand new Arris MVG468MQ router. My Network Extender 'thinks' that it is working...it looks as if it is working...but people cannot hear a word I say anymore when I call them. No ones phone will work in my house...they can call, but no one can hear them either.  My phone works fine everywhere but in or outside my house. It isn't my phone.Verizon says it's Frontier's problem.  Frontier says it isn't them...it's Verizon. It's been over a month of not being able to make calls from my house and have anyone hear me. I really need my phone to work.  I've tried adjusting some configurations in my router...to no avail. Nothing I've read to try, works.  My Net Extender still looks like it is working...but there is NO OUTGOINGAUDIO

2.4G wireless on an Arris DG22460

My Arris DG2460 has both 2.4G and 5.G capability and both lights are lit.But my ROKU doesn’t recognize the wireless connection & my computer does.The computer is connected to the 5G wireless and works.My ROKU doesn’t do 5G, but the 2.4G doesn’t show up on the Wireless search. Any ideas?

DG2460A

My replacement Arris Gateway DG2460A works wirh my Suddenlink Provider, but not with my ROKU. My older DG2460A worked with both. I suspect that maybe my Arris DG2460A has had it’s Password changed.

OPPs, I changed my Surfboard password and all my replies went away. Here’s the deal:I can’t connect to my modem & my modem doesn’t show up on my ROKU “Modem search”It’s the same modem I’ve used before, but a replacement.I tried entering the modem as a private network and entered it’s name and password, but that didn’t work. (my password is all alpha/numeric with no weird stuff). I’ve tried resetting my modem - no help.My ROKU is a model 3930X

It's been a few years since I used my SVG2482AC gateway ...

I talked to Xfinity about activating it, and gave them all the information they need to put it on their network.  The modem part seems easy peasy.But I don’t recall what WiFi network name and password I created years ago.  Is there a way to reset it to the factory settings?  I am out of warranty already so I can’t ask Arris Surfboard for help.

Good to unplug router/modem when not in use?

I have a Panoramic Wifi Gateway (Model: TG1682G).I’m wondering if it will damage the router if I unplug it regularly, when I go to work during the day and perhaps at night as well, to save electricity.Also, perhaps someone knows whether the process of booting up the router is very energy-intensive---perhaps to the point that it doesn’t make sense to unplug the router to save electricity.Thanks.
