Tried and failed to upgrade from SB8200 to S34 on Cox cable network I tried over two days to replace my working SB8200 on my home network with a new S34. My ISP is Cox. On the first day I tried many times to activate it over the phone to a Cox technician. The Cox tech said she could see the S34 activated on her end. On my end I saw a solid blue LED indicator, but I got no connection to my wired ethernet LAN or my eero PRO wi-fi router. On the second day a Cox technician came to help. He worked for over an hour trying various things, but got the same result. Finally he replaced the S34 with a Cox Panorama modem/wi-fi router and got the system working as it was with my SB8200 router. Now, however, I am stuck paying rent for Cox’s equipment, so I am not done trying to solve my problem. So, a few questions: (Question 1) Does the S34 indeed provide a performance upgrade over the SB8200?
