I ordered a modern on your site Arris Surfboard  I didn't create an account and received NO order confirmation email.  The ONLY email I received was one asking me to write a review for the product. I checked my spam folder. I didn't write down my order numberI can see no contact information to get order status All I want is a receipt emailed to me and or a contact email

The TV is not connected to the router and doesn’t connect wirelessly. 

I have been working with 3rd level support with xfinity (Comcast) and they are stumped so far. I have worked with Hostgator and  they state because I can access my account outside my network it's not them. I have tried Eero tech support and they tried a suggestion to change my IPv4 and that did not work. Here is the problem:I can no longer access my email addresses (multiple addresses through same host) using Hostgator.comAlso I cannot get to www.mywebsite.com/cpanel and also cannot log onto my websites using filezilla. As of yesterday I could and did not have any problems and did not change any settings.  When I try to use find my websit I get my IPV6 but it cannot find my IPV4. I can access all of the above via my iPhone on the cellular network when I turn off my WiFi. I cannot access the above using WiFi. I am trying unsuccessfully to connect using a desktop hardwired on my network. Windows 10 pro. I have an Arris surfboard s33 modem. Since August 2024, I have S34 modem. It always ran a bit hot.Recently, I can’t log in to the web interface to check event log.I purchased a different modem from another manufacturer. No Problem in heat dissipation and logging in to the interface!What should I do with the S34?

I just got my shiny new ARRIS Surfboard modem S34 and it seems to be working fine,but I cannot register it on the warranty site.Warranty Registration Fails S34 modemit says the modem’s serial does not match the model of S34..this is total BS I expected better from ARRIS.

I tried over two days to replace my working SB8200 on my home network with a new S34. My ISP is Cox. On the first day I tried many times to activate it over the phone to a Cox technician. The Cox tech said she could see the S34 activated on her end. On my end I saw a solid blue LED indicator, but I got no connection to my wired ethernet LAN or my eero PRO wi-fi router. On the second day a Cox technician came to help. He worked for over an hour trying various things, but got the same result.  Finally he replaced the S34 with a Cox Panorama modem/wi-fi router and got the system working as it was with my SB8200 router. Now, however, I am stuck paying rent for Cox’s equipment, so I am not done trying to solve my problem. So, a few questions: (Question 1) Does the S34 indeed provide a performance upgrade over the SB8200? I have Gigablast service from Cox, a sprawling LAN covering 6,000 sq ft, and an eero PRO wi-fi mesh network with 6 routers total. I am planning to upgrade the eero PRO gate

I have an Xbox Series X and recently decided to hard wire from my SB8200 to the Xbox.Now it says it can’t connect to DHCP server. I have tried both ports on the modem, I even factory reset my network and still nothing.The Wifi works fine but for some reason the hard wire from the Xbox to modem won’t.What can I do to solve this?

My network shows my previous phone. I want to update the network to my latest phone model. How do I do this?

i am trying to add a  Verizon network extender to my home due to poor cell signal.  It was connected to my modem and will not initialize due to a “LAN/firewall” issue.  I called Verizon, I called my ISP and was advised to check my firewall settings in my modem.  I have no idea how to do this and what to do if I could find the firewall settings.  Any assitance would be appreciated.

I have a G36 on one floor and have a CAT 5 that runs from that location to the second floor.  I am trying to figure out how to have one SSID network that covers house and right now the G36 isnt doing it.  I envisioned if I could have a wifi router hardwired to the G36 and then have another something on the second floor that is connected by the CAT 5 in the wall to either the G36 or the first floor wifi router?  Any help would be appreciated what i should buy or do.   

I have been using the Arris SURFboard SBG7400AC2 for many years. Lately it’s been very slow uploading mail on iPad and MacAir laptop, but not iPhone. I think it’s time to upgrade. this is overwhelming. Could use some advice. Have Xfinity cable. We don’t do gaming or work from home. Thank you.

Is there any way to make the satellite function as a main router? Arris should just allow access via browser (192.168.0.1) so that it can be setup that way. This would simplify the whole process. The app just complicates everything. With TP Link not being recommended, Arris has a chance to emerge as a good option, but the setup needs to be better. If each router has the same innards, why not just treat each as the same and have the selection for main or satellite?   

How to do a factory reset on a SBG8300

Every half hour or so the internet connection drops on the device listed above.   What do I need to do?

Hello On a G54, Is there a way to limit the amount of time a device can access internet per day?  I currently use parental controls to turn off access to my kids devices between 9:30pm and 6am, and that works well. With summer break from school coming, I would like to find a way to allow them to use the internet for a set period of time per day, but whenever they choose. For instance, similar to WiFi at a hotel, where you have to “login” each day and the WiFi expires after a certain amount of time.  Can I do that with my G54, or can anyone point me in the right direction?

Have the SB6190, how do I choose which band to broadcast 2.4 or 5ghz? 

My SB8200 will no longer power on but it’s under warranty. How do I file a claim and exchange it for a replacement modem? Thank you.  

I am having a recurring problem.  At random times, my S33v2 Modem will lose its connection to the internet.  No warning, and no clue why it is happening.  Power cycling the modem restores its connection, and my ISP cannot detect any problems.  I run the modem through an ASUS Wi-Fi Router, and when the connection drops, we still have network access, so I know the router isn’t the issue.I have looked through a few threads, and have accessed the Web Manager to check the signal power levels.  The downstream power levels and SNR levels are within the recommended range.The upstream power levels however, are within the acceptable range (35 - 50 dBmV) according to my ISP (Xfinity), but NOT within the range suggested by the manufacturer (45 - 51 dBmV).Picture below. I have done a hard reset of the modem, via the reset switch on the bottom, but nothing changed.I am at my wits end with this, because there is no predicting it, and I’d like to avoid buying a new modem if possible.  This one still w

I am trying to replace my Xfinity cable modem with a G36 but am unable to successfully connect it to the Xfinity network. I tried the self activation using Xfinity’s app and the HFC MAC (both manually and with the QR code) which did not work and then talked with an Xfinity live agent for about 3 hours but still no luck. They say they can see the modem but when I’m on the admin app there is nothing showing in the WAN and signal screens. I factory reset the modem, power cycled, etc. multiple times with the Xfinity agent but nothing worked. I am able to switch it back to the old Xfinity modem and it works fine. The only recourse I have with Xfinity is to have a tech come to the house which will cost $100 but that seems useless since I know the signal is good (because the Xfinity agent switched the MAC back to the old cable modem and it works fine). The problem is definitely the G36. It just flashes blue. Is there any recourse?

I just installed an ARRIS model #G34The connection was done through Comcast. All is set, I got the Surfboard App to get the new WiFi name and password. I was unable to do so. Can you help. Pilar

How do you tell if you have a SB8200 v2 Or V3?This does not workYou can determine if your Arris SB8200 is a V2 or V3 model by checking the tenth digit of the serial number located on the bottom label of the modem, or by looking at the backplate color and ethernet port color.Visual Method:      V3: The backplate will be grey with orange ethernet ports.   V2: The backplate will have green, blue, blue, and then red-ish color with silver ethernet ports.  Mine does not show any of this. The tenth digit is a 6 not 2 or 3Serial Number {edit : personal information} So I guess mine is 1 generationVisualIts not RED its PINK     

To preface I’ve only ever owned an Arris as far as I can remember and actively choose to buy them. Today I was in my living room browsing on my phone and lost internet which I attributed to Optimum because they are awful.I tried power cycling to no avail but notice when I do the lights all turn on simultaneously and stay on? I cannot reset it or cannot tell if anything happens. It won’t let me connect to the internet hard wired or through a router. I went through trouble shooting with Optimum and they saw no errors on their end. I tried a separate modem and 2 routers and they both can reach internet. I have no choice but to believe some reason this router died.Purchased from Best Buy in NY 11/29/23, I believe it’s under warranty but I no longer have the receipt. How should I proceed?

I am linked with my eero pro 6e router through the 2.5g port but there are no link lights. I also noticed when I boot the modem there are no lights on the 2.5g port but the 1g port has lights. Any thoughts?

My network name keeps changing over the last week, without me doing anything. It changes back to an old name or all of a sudden it has a number 2 at the end of the name. Why?  I have a G34 WiFi modem.
