Unfortunately I could only purchase a W3B (W3U was not available) and I would like to use it to connect a Quest 3 (Wifi 6e capable) through Air Link at big exhibits, where the traditional 2.4/5GHz networks are very disturbed/unusable. Therefore I would need to setup this configuration: Gaming Laptop (out of network) directly connected (wired 2.5Gbps ethernet) to one W3B 6GHz in access point mode, then connected to the Quest 3. How could make this work? Many thanks in advance

I just purchased a G54 and went through all the setup and activation with Spectrum. No issues, much more stable connection all is well. Until I had to swing all of my smart home devices over and many are having issues with the connection. My thought is the 2.4ghz vs the 5ghz may be the issue? I’m curious if anyone else knows how to remedy this? Most devices are a Google based platform and the previous router/modem from spectrum had no issues. I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting with Google and nothing seems to work. The only thing that has changed is this setup so I have to assume it’s to blame. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Xfinity told me to call Arris. T25 I bought and trying to pair with Nighthawk router RS100. Xfinity said Arris needs to activate bridge mode on my T25 modem. Can't I do that myself? And how do I do that?I have no internet access right now so need to use my phone. Missed 2 days of work coz of internet connection.

Internet has been spotty for last 2 weeks. Replaced old Netgear router w new Archer AXE75. Connected it to Surfboard 8200 v3 that was bought 3 months ago. Now there is no Internet at all. Do these 2 work w each other? Or do I need something different. Cox Communications is my service provider.

Brand new (1 month) Arris S33 modem. My internet download speeds get reduced by 50% throughout the day. It lasts for several hours, then recovers to normal download speeds. The modem feels extremely hot, top, sides and especially the metal coax cable connection - almost too hot to touch. Is the modem overheating, causing it to throttle the bandwidth?

HI, the SBG10 modem will not connect to my work computer. All other devices are connected without incident. I’m using the factory password and on the computer, it says the password is invalid. It’s a brand-new computer. My IT department has reset/updated all drivers. It still won’t connect. I have comcast and I’ve already called them, and everything is fine on their end. Help!

I have a G36 that the normal LAN ports stopped working. The 2.5 port does work but the other do NOT. I need warranty support to fix it. How do I contact them??

Just got my G20-6118. Tried to set up and while the primary green light at bottom lights up, neither my phone, via app, nor computer, will recognize device. I am using DECCA, which is somewhat priority to my community, and only access. On my old Motorola, it works fine, was trying to upgrade. Thanks

my modem keeps overheating and shutting down. It gets so hot you can’t touch it. I have no way of going online to upgrade the firmware to maybe fix this issue. I’m afraid of a fire, but I can’t go without Internet so I keep letting it cool down andresetting it . It will lasts for a day and it does the same thing I let it cool down and reset it again This is been going on since I bought this, but I can’t afford to go out and buy another one so I’ve been dealing with it

DHCP is not provisioning any clients on the LAN side. I had the modem activated via the ISP and when I manually set a static ip on the LAN network 192.168.0.20 with gateway and DNS settings, the internet works fine. But DHCP is not working. It does not work when I connect to the WiFi or when I plug directly into the modem with an ethernet cable. Any ideas? I’ve already tried disabled ipv6 and still nothing. No IPV4 addresses are being handed out via DHCP I checked to see if I can do a firmware update, but I don’t see any way to do that.

Surfboard combination modem-router model G34, Windows 10. I go to 192.168.0.1 to bring up the page. The message “Your Firefox is not up to date. You must use 63.0.3.” My Firefox is much newer than that: 138.0.4, 64 bit. I try both “admin” as well as the name of my local network. Neither user name works. I use for a password the Wi-Fi Security Key found on the bottom of my Surfboard. Either way, it says “Invalid Login Credential.” What’s really idiotic, is that it will not give me a hint how to fix the problem. I think Surfboard help stinks.

I need to update my SurfBoard Wifi Modem please?

My situation, basic internet traffic, 2K streaming max, house temperature is 70-72F (21-22C), running out of the 1 gigabit port not the 2.5gB. What should the external case temperature be for a Surfboard S34 modem? If EEE is enabled does that make a difference, in theory it should, but does it?

Does anyone know why or have any suggestions as to why this portal takes forever to login to? Surfboard app as well trying to access GUI through it. When I make changes it takes forever to complete. I have already factory-reset the router three times. I have never had this much trouble.

My HP Photosmart 6520 printer will not connect wireless to my G34. I enabled “allow all” on my filters and I manually added it using the MAC address and it still won’t connect.

Is ther any product available that ican handle faster internet speeds than the SVG2482-AC, I need wi-fi, router and voice enabled. If not available in one machine,what do I need ? Xfinity keeps sending me notices that I my modem can not handle the speeds I am eligible for.

I placed an order for S33 Modem on Surfboard website and got only a order # after payment on the website. I have not received any tracking # email or confirmation of my order via email. I can’t seem to find any email or phone number contact I can call to help me with the order and it’s fulfillment. I ordered selecting 3-5 business days delivery options and paid $9.99 as well. So it should have arrived already or at the very least an email tracking that it was shipped. Can anyone point me to where I can find some help on this? Thank,
