I just received my S33 today. Yet, when I plugged it in there isn’t a single light that is on.

This has been ongoing for a long time now, just now doing research though. Had Xfinity re-provision twice and also reset to factory settings with no luck, they told me they see OFDMA on channel 43 but I’m not seeing it on my end at all, will post the logs of the boot up and provision. Cannot exceed 40 Mbps upload and very random download speeds as well. Any help is appreciated! Event Log

Hello! I just switched over from Xfinity but I can’t connect to the wifi. The WiFi name and password is not located on the box. How do I find it? I need it asap I have school work I need to do.

About a year ago we were told our cable modem, model SBG7600AC2, was obsolete and would need to be replaced. We have two computers, some TV’s and a couple of tablets as part of our home network. We just recently decided to swap it out with an S34. When I looked at the package, I noticed the box says we need a WI Router for whole home networking. This leads me to believe I bought the incorrect cable. If so what version would be best to purchase?

I just purchased an Arris S33. It did not come with a user manual. According to Xfinity, I need the WiFi name and pswd of the device. How do I get this?

With the top end modems and routers you have available for gaming if I buy a new one now will I be able to update them to Docsis 4.0 and Wifi 7? Or will I have to buy a new one again when Docsis 4.0 comes out soon?

S33v2 on Astound Reboots at least 5 times a day since 1/1/25 ISP tech came out and replaced with their modem. Everything works great now Will never buy Arris again. Mobile app is a joke

I have a surfboard S33 that I’ve been using for about a year now. I guess I’ve been tardy in reporting this issue. The modem keeps rebooting multiple times during the day and the restart usually takes about 5-7 minutes. I’ve spoken with Comcast about this and they indicated that everything looks good from their end. They aren’t not seeing any errors being reported to them. The S33 is a replacement for an earlier modem that I had. I worked with Comcast and we reinstalled that modem and everything worked fine so it doesn’t appear to be an issue with the connection from Comcast. I use the previous modem for almost 8 years with no issues at all on the line. Well, I checked the Event Log today and it seems that there are multiple errors and that the date of the device keeps getting reset to 12/31/1969… see the attached screenshot. Please let me know how I can initiate warranty support for this before my warranty expires.

I’m in a three-way blame-shifting between Cox, Google(Nest router) and Arris. Two days ago we had an electrical power outage. This apparently damaged my existing Motorola router. A Cox technician came out and proved to my satisfaction that their network was working. Working through his modem, I was able to connect my router to it and reach the internet from my computer. That proved to me that the problem was the router. So I went and bought this Arris SB8200 at Best Buy yesterday and attempted to connect it. The Arris was connected to the Internet through Cox. I was able to connect to the Net through an ethernet connection to the modem. But the modem would not allow the Google Nest to make a connection to the Internet through the modem. I will call tech support as soon as they open, but maybe someone here can help? Is there a way to talk to the modem through IP if I connect a computer to it via internet?

Just moved into a house, there is an arris box model vap3400 how do I find out the password

I have an arris sb6190. The sending light is still blinking even after I have powered off and on again. Still same issue. The internet provider said that their diagnostic shows not signal from this equipment.

I lost Internet connection. Unplugged it last night and when I plugged it back in last night all lights rapidly blinking intermittently. Tried reset and it did nothing. Unplugged it Woke up this morning, plugged it in, and now zero lights. Front or back. About 2 years old and I think it's done?

I have 1.2Gbps service from Xfinity. Wired speed test with one device attached directly to modem is 460mbps.

I just bout a refurbished S33 cable modem on Amazon. Is there a light that comes on when plugged in. No light illuminated on mine. Larry

My sb8200 arrived today. I gave optimum tech support the mac and they say everything is set up and shows it should be working on their end. But it's not. The internet light flashes for a couple minutes then will go solid for about 30 seconds then it resets itself. I pulled the event log from the modem. i can’t get my samsung tv to find my arris modem

My SB6183 modem is working and the ISP confirms I have connection from their side but I am getting no indication via lights that the Ethernet connection is working. How can I confirm if the Ethernet port is damaged or not?
