SBG10, I’m locked out. How do I get past that?I can't remember my login or password. I have also done a factory reset. used admin and password to try and reset new password but tells me my old password is wrong or says error try again

I can’t setup a password for the guest WiFi in order to setup the Ring camera. On the ARRIS SBG10 doesn’t give me the option 

I’ve tried connecting with the WPS Settings through the GUI but it’s not connecting for me there. Can someone help me?!?

The wifi modem is already activated but I don’t know what’s my password and how to setup I didn’t see it in the app.

i went on to change my password on my router and it locked me out. how do i get back in

I managed to ruin the password change on my  SBG10 Cable modem. How do I Reset the modem so that i can fix this? 

I purchased a new SBG10 about a week ago. Got it set up, and was getting 400+mbps, then IT department from work changed some settings and only getting 30mbps now. Factory reset, still same issue. Even when laptop is connected via ethernet, it only gets 30mbps. Is there something I am missing?Customer support not open til later. Wasted over an hour yesterday with ISP and all they did was send a refresh signal to modem, which did nothing. **linked status below, but honestly makes no sense to me. been dealing with this issue (and other IT issues with work) long enough that my brain is fried.

Hello! I’ve had some trouble accessing some settings on the SGB10 web manager, specifically the tab labeled “Operations” next to “Configurations”.I’m easily able to sign in and access the basic setup part of the web manager (192.168.0.1), but the tab “Operations” seems to require a seperate login and password.I’ve tried the usual ‘admin’ and ‘password’, ‘admin’ and blank, along with resetting the router and changing the password under configurations tab, yet I still haven’t been able to access it.I found a similar post titled “Arris SBG6950AC2 'Operation' tab” on this site, but the reply’s were unhelpful as the just suggested changing the password to the basic setup. If anyone has experienced similar or has a solution please let me know.

Hello everyone, I was trying to change my WiFi password on my first trying it’s showing me a message that invalid username or password or your access has been locked due to multiple failed login. Can someone please give me an idea what should I do?Thank you.

Can't log in to the router in order to white-list new device

All Ethernet connections to my combo modem/router (Arris SBG10) are not working. I have tried multiple computers with multiple cables. The Wi-Fi works fine. Resetting the modem/router through my ISP (Xfinity) didn't help nor did factory resetting the modem/router. All computers I connect with an Ethernet cable have a 169.254.x.x IPv4 address, suggesting the DHCP server is not working. When diagnosing the connection on a Windows 11 device, there is a "No DHCP server was found" error. However, when I login to my modem settings (192.168.0.1), the modem has DHCP enabled on both WAN and LAN.How can I fix my Ethernet? Is the problem the SBG10? Or is the problem Xfinity?

Just installed a new PC,  Now I have to reboot every morning to get online.

looking to register new SBG10, keep getting model # ans serial number don’t match. I am copying them right off the box and materials included with the device.Thoughts? Support is not open on Sat and this modem is installed in a second home so I don’t have hands on access all the itme

The online LED is not blinking on my AC1600 Wi-Fi 5. Tried unplugging and resetting. 

I have tried seemingly all options to connect my old SBG10 to the Surfboard app. Previously only managed with PC login. I keep getting error 0000-1900. I've done a complete factory reset of the device (twice) and it did the usual firmware update on the device. I tried setting up the device via the app, scanning the QR code to input the password. No success. So I set it up manually on the PC and set the password to at least 8 digit, with caps, lowers, numbers, and symbols to meet the apps criteria. Still no luck.  I am certain I am selecting the right device (SBG10), I am certain I have selected the right option (device already set up), I am certain I've typed in the right log in password (probably 15 times at this point). I've granted full permissions as the requests came in. Hi! I have just moved to a new apartment, and do not have any coax outlets--I only have ethernet. I had bought an SBG10 (modem/router combo) before I moved in, but now I’m not sure if I can connect it to the internet using ethernet. The outlet in the apartment gives my laptop access to the internet (with an ethernet cable), but not my SBG10. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

How do I block a specific MAC address using my SBG10 router?

I reest my SBG10 and when I connect to it with ethernet it show my PC having a public ip address (72.175.x.x) instead of 192.168.x.x. also the wifi is not broadcasting.

I am having issues connecting smart plugs to my 2.4 connection. I have tried absolutely every trick in the book. The plugs are two foot away from the router as I am trying to pair. There are minimal devices using the 2.4.  Is it the router? Do I need a stronger router?!I know it’s not xfinity - when I used their router - the smart plugs connected just fine! I have xodo & geeni smart plugs and neither brands will work with this router! geeni smart plug specs

I have a qnap server that runs wordpress, trying to access the wordpress content via my wan IP address.I have tryed using a port forward and port trigger on the cable modem but can’t get to the wordpress on the server.WAN address is   73.XXXXXwordpress server is 192.168.X.X , with port 80 connected directly to the second ethernet port on arris cable modem
