I have a qnap server that runs wordpress, trying to access the wordpress content via my wan IP address.I have tryed using a port forward and port trigger on the cable modem but can’t get to the wordpress on the server.WAN address is   73.XXXXXwordpress server is 192.168.X.X , with port 80 connected directly to the second ethernet port on arris cable modem 

We bought this modem about two years ago. In June 2023 (about ten months after we bought it) the problem started. We would lose connection and then it would slowly come back. Since it was in warranty, I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement. While I waited for the replacement to come, I borrowed an old Motorola modem from a friend. It worked fine, so I didn’t bother using the replacement Arris.We moved some things around this past weekend so I figured I’d put the replacement Arris into use. It (the fresh out of the box Arris) seems to be having the same issue as the one it replaced. This makes me think it was probably not a mechanical error.I took a video of the lights on the modem so that I could describe it in this forum. When the modem's working properly, there are five lights lit, but the second from the bottom, which I think is for the WiFi, flickers repeatedly. When we lose the bottom two lights, then 3 seconds later we lose the top three ligh

Sbg10 was purchased July 6. All the research was that Xfinity was cable. Tech told me today that it is fiber.I read on the aris page that the box was not returnable if opened. Can I return it?

How do I create my network and password so that I can connect to the Internet?

I tried to changed my password on GUI web portal but it didn’t work now I’m locked out. I already tried unplugging the cord and plugged it back in. 

I just bought my modem and router combo. Plugged it in and trying to set it up. I plug in my Ethernet cable and it turns green and so I know that it is getting power how ever my led lights on front never turned on. Is this one just defective or am I doing something wrong?

My SBG10 won’t turn on. It was working the night before and in the morning nothing. No connection whatsoever. Tried resetting. Nothing. Tried unplugging and nothing.

I recently purchased a new surfboard SBG 10. It was set up with the default name and password. I would like to change that name and password to something I’m familiar with. Help.

Is there a way to connect this SBG10 model with a hdmi connector to a flat screen tv?

I need to connect a ROUTER BOOSTER to my modem and it tells me just to press the WPS button to do so. Well I don't have a WPS button on my router so I'm wondering if anybody can tell me where it is please?  I need the booster because my security cameras outside aren't getting a good signal.

I am trying to connect Arris Surf board SBG10 and I got the error 0000-1634?? 

I had an SBG6580-2 router/wifi in service for 2-3 years, until this week.  Had a power outage, and the router would not reconnect to Xfinity service (for a couple of days).  Checked with neighbors--they had service (with Xfinity supplied router).  Bought a new router/wifi unit (SBG10) and attempted, for the rest of the day, to install it, without success. Next day I reset the unit and my computer was able to access the WiFi service.  However, the computer wold not recognize my wireless printer (printer off-line), and my ROKU TV, nor other ROKU access devices, could not access the WiFi service.. That’s where I am now.Other questions:  When I enter the indicated IP address (192.168.0.1), I get a page with User Name - admin, and Password -blank, and an “Apply” button.,  An I supposed to enter a user name and password of my own, or just use “admin” and “password”?  I’ve tried both ways and still can’t get my TV/devices connected.   Can I (should I) reset my router?wifi to

Why do my arris sbg10  keep disconnecting from my internet 

I recently made a purchase and would like to cancel the order as soon as possible.Order Number: 60169

My phone is listed on the connected device page three times. I've tried forgetting the network and it still shows up as connected multiple times. Any cause for this? 

I recently went on vacation and unplugged everything in the house before I left, WiFi modem included. As soon as I came home and plugged it back in, I have had nothing but issues. I only unplugged it from the electricity, not the cable. Prior to this, I have never had a problem. It shows that I am connected to my network, however it’s not working. I have Spectrum internet (the only option I have) and the issues are not coming from a lack of connection. There are no service outages. The third light on the modem is often off, which I’m sure is the issue, however I don’t know how to fix that. My warranty is up and I can’t call Arris for help without paying a ridiculous amount of money. I can’t even connect to the app to troubleshoot from there.   I had a refurbished Arris product that did the same thing and was resolved when I bought a new product. Is that really what I have to do? Upgrade to a newer model?  Help!

I'm trying to set up my modem but how do I access the setting so I can turn off parental control and the firewall setting because the customer service for my deco router says that they have to be off in order for everything to work. Can anybody help me? Is there an app I can download to turn them off because Im not able to contact the customer service for this modem due to them being closed. I have the SBG10

I tried to login to access the web manager and follow the instructions on the quick guide. It says invalid user name or password when I type in the login information they provide.

I have a SBG10 that doesn’t show any connection when i connect to it on my phone. It pops up and connects but no internet connection. However, if i plug an ethernet from the SBG to my computer the computer recieves internet fine. Not anything else. My gateway that i have the SBG plugged into is Spectrum. Please Help!

I need the password for my modem for the devices how do I get one?
