Is my SBG8300 compatible with Windows 11?

I can’t get it up and running, because when I scan the QR code, it asks to download the Arres app. Once I do that, it asks me to scan the QR code on the device, but it keeps saying it’s invalid. Now I’m trying to set it up manually, but the app is telling me they don’t support this device.This should be much easier, right? 

Hello, what is the maximum upload speed for G34 modem?

I just recently purchased SBG8300 i am connected to the internet on it. However, i cannot get into the modem settings to set the rest up. Neither the mobile app nor the internet page will accept the admin and password defaults. any help would be appreciated!

Surely there is a way to backup the configuration on a G34? I hear from a lot of sources that it cannot be done which makes no sense at all. Am I missing something here? Why in heavens name would Arris not provide this fundamental and necessary function? Are you telling me I have to screenshot/write down every last one of the things you have altered, and keep that around and manually re enter it all if something goes wrong?

I only have a modem but no router, and I use ethernet. How to update my equipment? I’m cox

trying to turn on dual band 

I added my devices to the MAC Address Filter List, selected “Whitelist: device must be listed below” and applied. It shuts off all access to the devices. I have tried several times. What am I doing wrong?

I bought the G34 about 1½ months ago but was not installed until moving to my new houseon March 1st. Since then WiFi drops consistently and when dropped I can not evenaccess the modem using a computer attached by Ethernet. I need to exchange this for something that works.

First, over two months ago, I had a defective unit that was making a hissing sound and showing a white light. Unfortunately, the unit was bricked and could not be fixed. After two weeks of dealing with Arris customer service, they sent me a new unit. However, once I installed that unit, my internet started dropping signal twice an hour and buffering throughout the day. This is the second unit that has been total trash. I downgraded to my old SB8200 and my internet has never been more stable. Unfortunately, I don't see a solution for this issue, so I have to try to return the new unit to Best Buy. I just wanted to give a warning to anyone else having the same issues.

I’m trying to log in to my arris, for the first time and it won’t let me tells me invalid credentials 

it set on 10 hours and 00 minutes. Not sure if its a timer or what it is

I posted this question 3 months ago:I recently changed phone from an iPhone XS Max to an iPhone 15 Pro Max. SURFboard Central was installed and working perfectly on my iPhone XS Max. When using SURFboard Central on my iPhone 15 Pro Max connected to my SURFboard Wi-Fi network I get the above error. The phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network. When I turn off cellular service I get the same error. If I choose Try Again I get the same error. If I choose Continue Onboarding I eventually get to a screen that says “To continue, manually connect to the (SURFboard-Onboarding) SSID through your mobile phone setting.” That SSID is not available and the phone is still connected to the SURFboard Wi-Fi network. How do I get out of this error loop without resetting my entire network and the several dozen devices connected to it?I thought I had found a solution:So I tried uninstalling the app, reinstalling it and connecting to my SURFboard S33 cable modem first. I was wondering where I would find the latest firmware for my Arris NVG448B router. I want to keep it up to date and don’t know what the latest version currently is

Does my new TG4482 have the Li-ion battery?

All the Ethernet ports keep going offline (no lights). I power cycle the modem it’s good for a few minutes and the ethernet ports go offline again. How do I open an RMA to get the modem replaced?

When I open the surfboard central app it shows zero devices connected.  I know this not to be true because every thing is connected.

I own an Arris SB6183. My cable provider says it’s outdated. Best Buy says it’s still being sold. Our Data Speed is about 150 Mbps. Should I replace the cable modem?

Hi, this morning my modem appears to have broken. The Amber light stays on for a few seconds and then the white light flashes and this cycle repeats.Its also making a high pitch squeak every few seconds. I’ve attempted to reset the router several times but nothing appears to happen.This seems very similar another post on this forum but it’s marked as solved with no solution specified. Only instructions on how to access the web console. Which I’ve tried but have been unable to do so, the page never loads.Any help would be greatly appreciated.  

Modem is lit solid green, but tv, phones, laptops not  connecting wirelessApp is showing error message for registration, and also says connect to WiFi with Ethernet cable 

I've been tryin to update my firmware on svg2482ac  but I can't find it

So when I setup my g34 my isp said any issues would be with the modem/router company, anyways my issue had been fluctuating download speeds which should be a 940mbps and upload up to 100 but I'm getting a max of 5 and as low as 100 kilobytes 

 We are trying to replace the services we rent through our cable company. We have a multi-level home with lots of devices and the Eero mesh system has worked well for us. We need to purchase a modem with two ports, latest technology and fast speeds - we pay for download speeds of 1 Gig Internet and 6000 GB of data. We need a two port modem that will give us the fastest speeds through the modem. We also use VOIP. Which Arris modem do you recommend that is compatible with the Eero mesh system and meets these requirements?  Thank you for your wisdom and advice    

I purchased an Arris S33v2 last November. We have been having at least 2 to 3 short dropouts daily. We thought it might be a cable issue as the upstream voltage was a little high and downstream was a little low. (Also saw some UCD invalid or channel unusable messages in the event log)Ran a new RG6 Quad coax directly from the outside cable box to the modem. The voltages fell within the normal range but the daily reboots continued.The Xfinity tech recommended getting a different modem. I already had my old SB8200 so I installed it. It has been up several days now with zero dropouts.How do I go about getting a warranty replacement?
