I am trying to connect a TP-Link XE75 Pro to my S33 Cable Modem. It wants to know the internet type and I contacted Xfinity and they told me that since it is not a modem provided by them, they cannot give me that information. They told me to contact Arris.

I am attempting to install an Synology NAS on my system. I can see the NAS on my computer, but the NAS unit (DS923+) cant access the internet. It's like the router is blocking it somehow. No problems with accessing the internet on the computer or via wifi. I am not well versed on this NAS stuff so any help would be great.

We have an Arris modem with an Eero Router. Our internet speeds when we are able to get on is fantastic.  We hare constantly having problems with the internet going out.  We had Xfinity out to troubleshoot.  They said on their end everything is working 100% fine.  They said just make sure your software in the modem is up to date.  The Eero is up to date.  Ive been trying to log into the Arris to do the same, and I can’t access it.  The message “check again after 5 minutes invalid login and password”.  I’m fairly capable to trouble shoot this.  I’m just worried about hackers since it’s not a secure site.  Anyone else have this issue?

We've had our s33 for about a year , love it, works great ...tonight while watching TV one of the cats ran passed it and unplugged it, plugging it back in now results in just a green flashing light and no internet, Xfinity can't see it at their end and can't provision it again, I've done a factory reset but it's made no difference. In the web interface it says that DOCSIS network access is denied and also the system date and time is set to Jan 1 1970 but I can't see any way to correct that? Everything else looks normal to me

I have a SB8200 modem that I’m trying to access the MAC filter to add a MAC ID to give my thermostat access to the internet to control the thermostat from my phone.  Honeywell and my internet provider claim they can’t help me.  How do I find access the MAC filtering in my modem?

The power light will briefly turn on and then all other lights will flash together then all lights will go out. The modem will continue to do this every few seconds. Is this a hardware or ISP issue?

I’m trying to connect a HP 3056A for wireless printing. I expected to see a WPS button on the physical device, then expected to see a button on the https://192.168.100.1/ settings page. Didn’t see that anywhere, nor Surfboard Central app. There is also an option on the HP printer for a printer pin that I’m supposed to enter on the router settings. I looked on Surfboard Central for my W121 mesh network, didn’t see anything. Can someone point me in the right direction?

As the Title says, checking my event log after provisioning was complete showed SW Upgrade Failed. Is this an issue with Spectrum not pushing the correct firmware? Has anyone else experienced this?

Have had SB8200 for a year - has worked perfect until recently, when it drops the connection multiple times per day - and all the front panel lights say everything is fine.  SB8200 in warranty, Arris support checked everything and found all was good with the incoming signal. This was after asking me to have the ISP to send a re-activation signal and monitor for 48 hours (which I did - any experienced more dropouts). But they now want my ISP to come out and install a test modem for 24 hours - at cost $$$ to me, of course.  I don’t know why, we experienced a dropout while on the support call.  Clearly support does not have direction to actually help customers, but rather keep trying to point the finger somewhere else.  Any way to just get a replacement?  

Testing the SB200 when only power and ethernet connected.  Unit reboots after 10 minutes.  Is this normal behavior when no coxial is connected?  This is my second purchased one.  Many thanks.

Ch 2 showing Not locked, all levels look good.Had issues with ISP, replaced the line from the drop and tap, and had to call the fcc to actually have them come out and fix the node, just want to make sure everything looks good. currently the line has 2 splitters, just wondering if the node adjustment could have affected the configuration with my line.

We had a brief power outage to our home over night. When trying to connect to the internet in the morning, we had no connection, or intermittent connections. I rebooted the SP8200 and also did a reset. I contacted our provider, Breezeline, who said there were no outages in the area. They trying to reset the connect from their end twice. The connection would come back briefly and then fail. Finally the provider eventually said that it was the modem, and that I had to contact the manufacturer, Arris, to determine the problem. This is where we stand at the moment.

how to put a user name and change the password on my new router

I have an Arris SB8200 and if I wire my Xbox directly to my modem my router stops receiving internet so I cannot get wifi. I've done a reset and unplugged everything in every combination i can. When I get my router to work as soon as I turn on my Xbox my router disconnects and I have to reboot everything. I cannot get both to work at the same time while connected to the modem. Does anyone have ideas or solutions? I just would prefer to have my Xbox wired to my modem rather than through my router if possible. It does work if I hook it up through the router my connection just isn't as good.

Security search revealed vulnerability due to open port -- how do I close it?

I just purchased an ARRIS SB8200 Surf Board modem and having trouble activating.  To activate, I have two choices….Scan the QR Code or do it manually.  There is no QR Code and when I try manually...it does not recognize my wi-fi password.Is there a way to get the QR Code for the SB8200?

Brand new S33.  Installed it last night, and it wasn’t talking.  Woke up this morning, had not touched it, yet it was working fine. Proceeded to try logging in to https://192.168.100.1/Login.htmlI have carefully observed the serial number and tried to log in with the last 8 digits.  The serial number is in this format:block 1 - 4 characters, mixed letters and numbers - spaceblock 2 - 4 numbers - spaceblock 3 - 4 numbers - spaceblock 4 - 3 numbersAs such, the password I am using is the last digit of block 2, all 4 digits of block 3, and the 3 digits from block 4.  That does not work.  What am I missing here?

I just replaced the Xfinity equipment with my own ARRIS SB8200 and a Ubiquity Dream Machine SE router that feeds data lines wired in my home, with 5 end point mesh devices. No problem transitioning all my end use equipment over to one of the 4 networks I set up in the Dream Machine WITH ONE EXCEPTION - SONOS. The more I read, and I am not a techie, I see that there are incompatibility issues between Ubiquity and Sonos, so my desired solution is to connect a conventional wireless router to the second ethernet port on my SB8200, creating a wireless network apart from going through Ubiquity, totally dedicated to Sonos. Will this work? Seems it should if the second ethernet port has the same functionality as the first. Thanks in advance for any help here!

We bought a arris surfboard model s33 in January 2022. Sunday it stopped working.  I work from home, virtual school for my kids, and don't have time for any shenanigans with my computer.  We went out and purchased another modem but I'm wondering if we have any recourse since this is only a little over a year old and they aren't cheap.  This is the second time this has happened but the first time I actually knew when it was purchased and approximately where although I don't have the original receipt. Am I just out because of a bad product or can I get a replacement 🤔?

I have Centurylink $50/mo and was wondering since it is not cable if I can still use this modem? Tks Jane

I accidentally unplugged my arris sb6190 modem. When I plugged it back in my network no longer works. It worked fine before I unplugged it.When I plugged it in, the top light (power) was solid green, then the next three lights flashed green, then the middle two went solid green, while the last one (network) flashed green. Eventually the power light went solid white, the middle two went solid blue and the bottom one went solid white. I have tried to power the modem up again and power cycle the eero router. I called my isp, spectrum. They can see the modem and sent a recycle to it. Same results - power light and network light solid white and the middle two lights are solid blue. The eero router light is flashing blue.I can see my network name on my devices but when I try to connect to it is just spins.Help - how do I fix this? 

We’ve used this modem for years with no issues like this. The buttons are always green. Today, we stopped getting internet service. The receiving light is blue, and the internet company is sending a tech, which is a huge inconvenience. Do I need to replace the modem? Thanks. 

I'm having connectivity issues. I think there's some storm damage to my came lines. Because of that, I've been logging into my SB8200 often to look at the event log. I've noticed that I can't log in when the send LED is flashing. My PC just says it can't resolve the IP address.Is this normal? I can sign into it once the send LED is solid, but it doesn't make sense to me for the connection to the ISP to have any affect on the ability of my browser to find 192.168.100.1
