SB8200

The 3rd light from the top (send signal light) is flashing green while the top 2 are solid green. I cannot get any internet connection on any device. How can I fix this? I’ve tried unplugging everything and a hard reset.

I am having slower speed issues on my relatively new SB8200, less than 4 months old.  Below are the values I am getting.Is my power level on downstream and upstream look good. WHAT IS THE WEB MANAGER LOGIN ?Its not in any document that can be found. even on this community where ARRIS SUPPORT wrote about access the web manager DID NOT PROVIDE THE user and password 

I am Using SB8200 with Xfinity.1000Mbps d/l and 100 Mbps u/l planmy speeds are slowdownstream is in 3.1 mode upstream is in 3.0 mode. There are four upstream bonded channels. The power values are 37 and 38 dBmV.down stream bonded channels have SNR in the ranges of 45.3 to 46 dB. The QAM256 power values are between 2.9 DBMV and 3.4 DBMV and the last one is 4.3 DBMVis this correct?I am Using TP-Link ax1800 router and am getting 300Mbps on its wired ports.wireless point gives 430Mbps.Pls comment.also, why is the upstream in 3.0 mode and not 3.1

Does the SB8200 work on Optimum with voice?

surfboard sb8200 will not go online. Check the cables, powered it off and on again, contacted ISP there's no outage in my area. It just suddenly decided not to go online. The online light is flashing. It is less than 2 years old I purchased it in November of 2021. It's still under warranty but how do I know if the modem is bad or if it's some other obscure thing? Thanks

i had a power outage yesterday and my modem went out for a second, when power came back on i reset the modem, it is lit as it should but my hasn’t come back on. i unplugged everything for a few minutes and my wifi still won’t work. this happened once before and after 2 days my wifi came back, how can i fix this

I replaced my Motorola MB8600 with an Arris Surfboard SB8200 yesterday. I don’t see a way to clear the Event Log. How do I do that? Thanks!

Hi AllAs mentioned in the title, my signal has been dropping very frequently over the last several weeks. I’ve contacted my ISP (cox) and they gave me the run around (reboot your devices). I’ve also contacted Arris last night and the suggestion I received was to ask my ISP to increase the power on my upstream channels to which the cox tech had no idea what I was talking about so here I am… I’ve factory reset my router, I don’t believe that’s the issue. I’ve done a little research and it seems having high uncorrectables is an issue, this screenshot is from today after i reset my modem 12 hours ago. thanks. I purchased this modem and my asus router both a year ago and had no issues until recently.

My 6 year old Arris Docsis 3 died. I purchased a new SB3200. My Provider, Optimum (previously Suddenlink) got it working, but my 300 Mb connection is only running at 20 Mb. An Optimum technician came yesterday to check wiring in my apartment building and also hook up a new neighbor's account with a  rented Docsis 3 modem. We now share one cable back to the pole, and his new modem runs at 300, while mine is still running at 20. He said Optimum’s phone tech help my not have provisioned my modem correctly. I need the 300 for streaming and to support a stable VPN back to work if needed. What do I need to do?

I have a new sb8200 after replacing my SB6190 after hearing of a chipset problem. Just as my sb6190 did my sb8200 is rebooting randomly through out the day. Talk to ISP they said oh its cause you have 3 different mac ids on account so he cleared them thinking that would work, it didnt. I have a tech coming out to look at the connection speeds because they are low. I also get this message in the modem log “ Missing BP Configuration Setting TLV Type: 17.2;CM  “ with an date that is way off.    

The top port does not work according to a comcast tech. The bottom port does work. We used the top port for 6-7 months when internet quit. The comcast tech tested the modem and said the top port was not responding. I called Arris tech support to see about getting a replacement modem and was told that this model only one port works. Sounds dubious. Any responses?

Does the SB8200v2 still support Link Aggregation? Just replaced a VERY old SB8200 hardware v4 with a new SB8200 and its a SB8200v2 hardware version 1. The firmware that came with it is TB01.01.001.05_012122_212.0A Am I out of luck or just waiting for my ISP to upgrade it to the latest (2.X) firmware.

Is there anyway I can change the brightness on the front panel LED’s? They light up my whole room at night.

ref: Upstream Light Not Blue just whitish color or no colorHi,  Have searched the Internet high and low  looking for a solution to this problem only to find vagaries or possible blame on the user, or the cables.Just to mention, that 3 days ago all internet coaxial ethernet cables from the pedestal to the SB8200 as well as the full operating signals, have been checked one by one by an Xfinity technician and found them all in excellent working order.Also as suggested by some users, or instructions on faq performed a reset, to no avail.Have performed a number of restarts following Xfinity’s instructions as well as those found in the manual or this site to no avail.   Unless I am able to find a solution to the problem of Upstream light not blue after completing a restart, will have to return the modem to the place it was bought from since I am still within the limits of days to return an Item.Please help me find a working solution as

I am so perplexed!!! All of a sudden I am  unable to connect to all my devices at home. I contacted my Spectrum service provider and they advised that I needed to contact the modem company. I know that there’s no issue with my internet because many of my devices are still in use, but my macbook, xboxes and Roku TV which all worked prior to 2 days ago are no longer connecting to the internet. We’ve done factory resets and disconnections and restarts of these devices and nothing works. Can someone suggest what the problem may be.

When I originally set up my home network using a 10.0.0.# IP scheme I swear I could access the SB8200 web browser interface by using 192.168.100 from a computer on my home network with a 10.0.0.# IP address.  I know it worked then, because I know I reset the modem’s default admin password.  Now I can successfully ping the SB8200 192.168.100.1 IP address, but trying to access the browser interface eventually times out the browser.  The router is a Linksys MR7500 and the ISP is Comcast / XFINITY.  I have also tried a default reset on the modem and I still cannot access the modem via the web browser interface.Any ideas why I can’t access the modem’s web interface?  Do I need to set up special routing on my Lynksys router?  Any help would be appreciated.

The time is off 1 hour on my SB8200. Is there a way to set the time manually?

Have reset the router and had Cox cable confirm Old netgear router will work and pc ethernet connected to modem connect to internet but When attempting to set up Eero gateway signalsno internet
