Breezeline told me to update the firmware for my SB6121 modem.  I cannot find any source for it on here or anywhere.  Any ideas?

This is weird! On one laptop, the first to connect to the ARRIS, and near the modem, the username (the 2.4G one) is G34-66CD (and only that one for the ARRIS shows up), and the second laptop to connect, which is on a different floor, has only the username G34-66CD-5G showing up for the ARRIS...and the download speed is more than twice as fast! PROBLEM: I can’t get G34-66CD-5G, the correct one, on my first LAPTOP! I don’t get why it’s happening like that. Any ideas and/or solutions? THANKS!!!

Hello, I own an Arris G36 that I bought 10/6/2023.Since then, I've had very unstable internet, where I would drop multiple times during a 1-hour conference call making working from home impossible.I've found numerous forum posts about firmware 01.04 causing this issue and that version 01.05 fixes the intermittent connectivity issues.I've also been told that per DOCSIS, Arris (the manufacturer) is unable to update this firmware, and that it is the ISP's responsibility to verify and push out the update to their customers.First, is this true? Am I stuck and at the mercy of Xfinity?It's almost been a full year of degraded service and I'm not only in the hole for a $320 modem that barley functions, AND the 9+ months of 1.2Gbps I've been paying for and not enjoying.What's the answer here? Am I out $320 because people don't want to support their recommended hardware? People can't afford to be making these mistakes, this isn't insignificant.Thank you,-DizzyThermal

I have the G36.  I also have TiVo.  I want to setup port forwarding for it.  I checked online and there’re about 9 ports to open/forward.  Do I have to find and put in all TiVo ip’s for each box and open a port for each one?  I’m confused on filling it out.  Example: internal start point, internal end point, external start point, external end port.  Some of the ports are 80, 443, 7387 and so on.  Can anyone give me an example on how to set it up based on the ports mentioned?  Thanks Joe p

I just moved. All of my devices connect to my SBG8300. However SBG8300 isn't connecting to internet. Can't login to my ARRIS gateway. Forgot password. Internet service unchanged with spectrum.

I have an SBG8300. The 2.4 and 5 G bands have been separated. I have 15 smart home devices connected to the 2.4, most of which work just fine (the ones that don’t are FEIT bulbs and outlets, which I have been told is a FEIT app problem. These problem devices randomly show offline). I recently bought a new device (a grill/smoker) but despite there being a full 5 signal bars, it won’t connect (it also requires the 2.4). The smoker will connect to my phone via hotspot, so the smoker manufacturer states it’s an issue with the router. But what that could be is anyone’s guess. So, anyone have a guess on what the problem could be? Thank you.

Arris customer support is joke!!! No phone number to call. Chat is not available. I have a modem that is under warranty and no one to help me. 

This has been the most frustrating last 9 months or so. I thought that this model would work well with my house rentals ISP ( COX ) Well, I have been plugging in and unplugging, reseting, rebooting, rebooting the modem, buying new RJ45, new switch, new dock, plugging in and unplugging again. Why does this router keep DISABLING my ethernet connection. I keep the same config and its like a roll of the dice if it will work or not? If anyone has any thoughts Id LOVE to hear them. This can’t be user error, or a hardware issue, or maybe it could be. I am at a loss and VERY happy to be going on vacation for a week. PLEASE HELP.

I received a used t25 modem from a realtor friend of mine. I do not have have access to the password, and I don't see it anywhere on the modem. Is there a way to reset it without having the old password? Thanks. 

Everyday for the past 4 days around the same time our modem loses connection for a couple hours and has the blinking green light. I’ll attach a picture of the modem page and what it’s telling me. Our ISP is Comcast if that matters. Haven’t had any before this.  

My old modem and router were both functional (slow and outdated) before purchasing and installing the new Sb8200.  Now I spent a few hours online with my internet provider and still have no internet with the sb8200.  My internet provider tried everything they could to get it to function, now they tell me I’ll have to have a tech look at it and if the problem is on my end there will be charges.  It’s obviously on my end, everything was fine (slow but functional) before I installed the sb8200.  What else can I try to make it work?

I just purchased an ARRIS G34 and set it up. The PC’s seem to access the web, although slowly. However I can’t seem to connect to streaming services, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. They either timeout or I get a no internet connect message. MY provider is SPectrum

Could Surfboard PLEASE update their iPhone App to allow me to register a second S33 modem (installed at a different physical address and network)?  Right now there is only a very kludgy way to do this (second iPhone, second email address)

Just purchased WC4S to expand coverage of SBG7400AC2, after setting up via Surfboard App with Mesh connected to modem via yellow cord I received a successful message and could connect to the mesh from my phone, however when I disconnected the yellow cord and tried the mesh in any location it would not provide an internet signal. Any ideas?
