I have the ax3000 and it drops WiFi every couple hours. There is no outage in the area. Past post say  there should be an update pushed for using xfinity and nothing since December. I work full time at home and this product isn’t it 

My apologies very novice at IT issues.  Have a Tesla solar gateway that need to connects w 2.4 and can’t seem to get it connect to my sb8200.  Sorry to bother, can anyone guide me to how to allow for this slower connection? Thank you. 

Yesterday, suddenly my internet connection was disconnected. I checked with Xfinity. They confirmed there is no outage in my area. I tried power cycling as per Xfinity’s support instructions, I tried factory reset but it not resetting. The light is solid amber (indicating) power, but it does not cycle through any other color.  I have scheduled Xfinity technician to visit tomorrow.  There is a latest thread on this community which indicates that there is problem with G36 and Xfinity. Arris is going to take longer time to fix it.  I own this modem; I have not rented it from Xfinity. My modem is under warranty till 2025. I bought this expensive modem based on recommended list by Xfinity. What are my options now? Will Arris replace my modem? Or I will be left hanging and has to buy another modem (preferably not Arris) as not having internet connection is not an option. Is it sold green and rebooting doesn't work  mine. Started Friday 

Hello,I want my PC to be connected directly to the S33 with the 2.5GB port, while my router mesh system is connected to the 1 GB port.  Based on testing and what I read this is not possible as the S33 will only cater to one connection for because of IP addresses. My question is if I buy say a Cerio POE-PD04S+ PoE Splitter plugged into the 2.5GB port will I be able to successfully connect both my PC and Mesh router to the POE? Appreciate the tips in advance, currently I just have the Router plugged into the 2.5GB port while the PC is connected to the router’s 1GB port. I could possibly test having the router connected to the 2.5GB using its 1GB port then plugging the PC to the router’s 2.5GB but assuming that wouldn't work.

I’ve been using a SB6183 for a number of years now, and yesterday I was told by Infinity techie that my incoming speed was GREAT (better then 1000mbps), but it was my modem that slowed it down to 45-55 mbps. How is this happening when the specs on the modem says it does up to 686 mbps?So lets say i need a new modem,...maybe the follow on product SB6190. Looking thru various sites does NOT give me a lot of confidence this modem is any good?? Can these relatively simply units be that hi-rate faulty? Then I saw on a Comcast/Infinity community forum where Comcast themselves were defeating some installations of hi-speed modems,...some of these from ARRIS ??What is this world coming to,...a whole lot of mis-information. I’m just a plain old 81 year old model railroader who wants to surf the forums, and is NOT a computer-head to figure out basic stuff   !All I need according to those more informed is a speed of 100-300 mbps to cut out this ‘firefox not responding’, and msnbc choppy reception

So I’m at a loss….. I’m trying to locate the DTMI settings on the admin page for the Arris G54. But I’m not finding them anywhere. Am I just completely overlooking it?! thanks 

I am unable lo log into the T25 Surfboard modem with 192.168.0.1 What am I missing? Please help!

I’m unable to log into the Web Manager to change my WiFi channel via this article. The portal asks for my password, which is shown not only on the Surfboard app on my phone but that I also saved to my password app when I originally set it up. I continue to receive a message “Please login first” after entering the correct username and password. How do I log in?

My modem wont do a hard reset. Or any kinda of rest. It's  stuck on sold green.  Luckily  I have my old modem still.  This modem. Not even a year old yet 

The G34 modem has lost mimu function  after firmware update 

I just bought this modem (SB6190) and am already at my wit’s end trying to get it to work with my router! I was able to activate the modem myself via the Xfinity app no problem, and it works just fine when I connect the modem directly to my computer via LAN.HOWEVER, the instant I try to connect the modem to my router, it simply will not work! My router’s light indicates that it isn’t connected to the internet, and when I try to configure the router via LAN connection, it says it can’t find its assigned IP address. I’ve power cycled both the modem and the router several times in the correct order (i.e., power both off, power modem on, wait until connected to Xfinity, power router on), but the problem persists.To make sure this was a modem problem and not a router problem, I re-activated my Xfinity Gateway and plugged it into my router into that. And hey, what do you know—everything worked flawlessly!So, can someone PLEASE help me figure out how to get this thing to work before I go insa

ARRIS SURFboard SBG8300My modem is not powering on when plugged in. No lights come on. Other devices plugged into the same outlet are working properly. I tried removing and replacing the power supply several times. I have tried another outlet with no success. 

Hi. Really odd one here. I had a new router around 2 months ago. Changed the ssid to match the old one. Been working fine for the last 2 monthsThe last few days they have all being playing up, but I can't understand why.“There is a glitch”, “something went wrong”. “Your device is not set up”(but it is)We have 3 google home, 3 gen 1 minis and 2 gen 2 minis. All playing up.I've removed them all from home, reset them all. Re connected them, but I'm getting the same issues. Router is Arris NVG578LX, ISP is youfibre.I can't see any setting to change in the router. No AP isolation.Any ideas please.

You know that little world globe that's normally position down in the right-hand corner of your screen. Right now it's not a globe but an icon of a computer screen instead.When I hover over that icon, I get that the 5Ghz Linksys routed is connected.   But when I open up that icon, where you would normally hit "connect" it say no internet connection. Thats my problem.  I just changed out an SB6141 and all connections worked.  I added this new SB8200, and I’ve now got no internet to connect to my Linksys WBT3200ACM router.But my cell phone, tablet, and laptop all connect to the router with a strong signal.  Its just this desktop HP that no longer works right.  Destops 2years old.I did get the correct connection momentarily when unplugging the router and resetting but that lasted but a few minutes

Tried to activate my ARRIS G36 with Xfinity but they said my modem was refurbished and that it was still registered to another user. I purchased it at Best Buy and thought it was new. What do I do?

I have Xfinity(comcast) and the phone suddenly stopped working in touch-tone mode.  Press buttons but dial tone continues as if no buttons were pressed.  Reconfigure phone to Pulse-Dial like the old rotary phones and it works fine.  Of course in this mode I can’t get to my voicemail and it is very annoying to wait for the numbers to dial.  I have replaced the phone and xfinity support is clueless and doesn’t even know that there is more than on dialing mode.  I am not sure if this is a xfinity responsibility to auto recognize which dialing mode is being used or a gateway responsibility.  Can anybody confirm?If it is a gateway responsibility is there a configuration parameter or is it auto and simply failing now?

I purchased two SURFboard S33 (sku 1001358) on July 12th and I would like to return one of the modems. How can I begin the return process? My order number is 59908

I received an alert email from my ISP flagging a potential security issue. I called to get more information, but they told me that they wouldn’t be able to provide any more info on the source of the alert or any IPs associated with it because I’m not using their special equipment. Instead, they directed me to contact my router provider, stating that they would be ale to access my router and see more information on the event. It sounded like BS to me, but is this true? I have an Arris G34. The logs on the router itself aren’t too helpful. How can I get my Latency down? I’m on a Xbox One S. With an Acers monitor 240hz 0.5 ms 1440 HD. SBG8300 is my model. I have Xfinity there best package. Speeds are great. But that Latency?

My laptop is showing no Internet connection even though all my other devices are on line. My Internet provider tested all the equipment and says they are working properly. They suggested that my modem probably needs a wifi driver update. What should I do?

I am looking for a cable modem supporting EuroDocsis 3.1 , min 1 Lan port and preferably (but not required) 1 fon port. It should not have an integrated router. Are there modems like that here? I am just unsure if “Docsis 3.1 ……… Supporting all major Cable Providers” means globally or US only.

Will the surfboard app give me option to recognize new arris modem router?  Don’t see option on app. 

This is an ARRIS Surfboard S33 DOCSIS 3.1 I purchased about a year ago. It is under warranty still. The pitch makes it impossible to work in the room. I am requesting a replacement. Thanks.

I just got the Arris Surfboard sb 6190 and now it's not working with my Linksys e5400 wireless router. I have a Google pixel 8, and it keeps saying that I need to sign in to the wireless network, but from there it takes me to spectrum for activation even though I thought it was done through the app.  I can see I'm getting Internet thru the modem, but nothing thru the wireless router.  Any help appreciated.  Thanks all!!

I just bought the arris surfboard g36 for my home, when I first hooked it up I was getting 164 plus upload speed and 164 plus download speed, now I'm down to 5 and under upload and under 3 download speed I contacted my wifi provider and they ran a bunch of test and it's nothing on the providers end I have no clue what to do.
