This G36 is the worse modem I have ever owned. I’ve had it less than a week and it’s been nothing but issues. I want to go back to my old modem and router. ALL solutions for issues with the G36 seem to require complete reset of the modem/router and starting all over again. The mobile app is a steaming pile of junk. I can’t access the modem through my browser because it won’t accept my email login. Sorry but it’s my ONLY email. The solution is to reset everything and start over.

I just installed a new S33v2 and ever since, I’m getting SSL errors. The cert on the modem itself is bad, not expired but I guess not trusted. But I don’t know why that would have anything to do with certs passing through the device. FYI, all incoming certs appear to come from my SP (Cox) instead of their actual origin. I can ping out but can’t connect to anything using SSL or TLS, which is pretty much everything now. Any ideas? Thanks,Tom 

Using Xfinity & Arris G36 I’ve tried unsuccessfully to use this application several times and ways and I cannot get it to connect. I always get an error. Has anybody got G36 to work with Comcast Xfinity in 2024?i’ve been in software engineer for 18 years so I don’t think it’s my errors. I think it’s the app.

Everything worked fine. I was rolling off a promotion and Spectrum a new one on my account. When they did it, they said my modem is no longer compatible and I have to buy a new one. Is this correct? And what’s a cheap SB I can buy if I need a new one? Thanks

My SB8200 will not work immediately after a power cycle.    It must be left unplugged for 15-20 minutes before attempting to reconnect.   The modem is noticeably warm when unplugged, and cold (cool) 15 minutes later.  This problem is very repeatable.   I’ve never had it connect immediately after power-down or reset in over 20 attempts over the last 3 months. Other than this one issue, the modem works fine.   What circumstances would create this behavior?  I need someone to explain to me why this problem is not a hardware issue…When plugged back in immediately, the modem will get to the point where the top three lights are solid green but the bottom one is blinking green.    It will stay like this for 2 or 3 minutes (I’ve not timed it) before resetting.   The start-up sequence repeats, ending with the same condition (top 3 solid green, bottom one blinking green).   This repeats for at least an hour (that’s the longest I’ve given it).I’ve been on the phone with Arris support 5 times and

Cox came out for a tech support visit and confirmed the S33 modem is dead.  How do I begin a warranty claim?   Bought from Amazon in June of 2023.

Hello Support. My G36 suddenly stopped working today. I will not reset after holding the reset button for >1 minute. The light changes from solid orange to flashing green and then repeats. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. It is still in warranty.

Hi so i have a Arris DG3270A/NA router that was given to me and i Can't even logging in the webGUI cuz i think the webGUI credential username and password was changed please reset the webGUI credential username and password to factory default on DG3270A/NA router

Solid blue light, able to log into Wi-Fi but says no internet.  internet provider confirms my modem is online.  accessed the gateway summary, connection, WAN shows an active IP address. please assist. 

I purchased a T-25 at Best Buy on June 5, 2024 and successfully activated for Internet and phone service with my provider. Today I returned home and all of the lights were off on the modem and I didn't have Internet or phone service. I tried resetting use the button on back but nothing. Can you provide any other troubleshooting advice or instructions for repair/replace? Thanks

How do we enable guest wifi on our Arris router for our Subway restaurant in Whitesboro? Can I do it remotely or does it have to be done in the store? Model is TM602G/115.Thank you!Ashley Mims

Does anyone know why the only thing being reported back to me by my G36 via the app is a very low signal strength warning for one of my connected devices, and a suggestion to move it closer to the G36.But here's the "Huh?" part:   It's the initial router in a Wi-Fi mesh system and it's hardwired to the G36 on a Cat6 cable that's not 6 feet long. It has NO wireless connection to it, so why is my G36 worried about a low RSSI?

It's random. But, my modem looses both 2.4 and 5g connection. Randomly. Hardwire works fine. Usually resetting modem temporarily fixes problem. But, it can happen anytime. 1 day, 1 hour or even a few days later. Sometimes multiple times a day. My dad has same modem and never has this problem!

For the last few weeks, I have noticed my Arris S33 Cable modem has been dropping the DOCSIS 3.1 connection (solid blue LED) to XFINITY GB service and reconnects at DOCSIS 3.0 (Solid green LED). It’s still pretty fast but I take exception to XFINITY providing LESS service for more $, Is anyone else experiencing this DOCSIS 3.1 drop with Xfinity?BTW, I’m in Tucson, AZ

Cannot change username and password on G34. HELP! ARRIS site says "WARNING! NOT SECURE!"

I have a DG3450 and I’ve downloaded all 3 apps and none of them work with this device. Does anyone know which app to use to manage this device? 

just setting up get all the way to registered device and goes to the user interface then flips instantly to setup again tried it on both units happens the same tried from android phone.tried again with iphone and cant get past registration.both units are accessable from wifi and can connect with any wifi device to them no problem just unable to load the user interface so i can add 2nd unit and modify the network.Anyone have any idea of a solution??

This is weird! On one laptop, the first to connect to the ARRIS, and near the modem, the username (the 2.4G one) is G34-66CD (and only that one for the ARRIS shows up), and the second laptop to connect, which is on a different floor, has only the username G34-66CD-5G showing up for the ARRIS...and the download speed is more than twice as fast! PROBLEM: I can’t get G34-66CD-5G, the correct one, on my first LAPTOP! I don’t get why it’s happening like that. Any ideas and/or solutions? THANKS!!!

I have a SB 6190 modem and am experiencing slow Internet speeds. How do I know if I have a bad modem or how can I fix my speed issue in the recent past I experienced three and 400 meg download speed now I’m lucky to get 20.

Arris Surfboard(s) not workingBeen using an Arris Surfboard S33 for a few months now and have had no issues until today.    Came home from work and suddenly it seems like it’s bricked or something.    All three LED (green, blue, amber) indicator lights are lit up, leaving a yellow-ish solid light that never changes or blinks. It’s completely unresponsive and I am unable to connect to the internet.    The lower Ethernet port on the back has lights on while the top one does not. Plugging the Ethernet to the router into either one does nothing and neither does hardwiring my PC into either one.    I know the pics shows the coax unplugged, but that was just to capture the lights easier.  Using a pin to reset the modem does nothing. Tried for 10/20/30sec and no dice.  Title is plural because I went out and bought a second one thinking the original one was just faulty, but upon giving it power, it does the same exact thing.    I never plugged the second one into coax so I don’t think it could

I recently installed and activated through internet provider, Xfinity.  Slow sporadic WiFi, very limited range.  

New G34 solid blue light and no internet period.  ISP says it is junk.

MY WIFI KEEPS GOING IN AND OUT AND I DO NOT KNOW WHY? I UNPLUG MY MODEM THEN PLUG IT BACK UP AND STILL HAVE PROBLEMS

Both of my mAX W21 mesh routers suddenly stopped working early morning today. The Internet and modem are working fine (if I connect directly with an Ethernet cable to the modem) but the routers won’t even power up. Called Tech Support and they said many others have similar issues today and are escalating. Waiting for responses. No Wifi.
