After I type 192.168.0.1 in my browser then it sends me to the login. The username is already typed as admin but when I type the preshared key from the modem it says its invalid 

The manager app is connecting to the WiFi gateway but won’t let me log in to my account to be able to change passwords and everything? It keeps saying network connection lost even though I’m still connected

Comcast provided me with two phone numbers. On my previous Arris modem they could configure the modem so both phone numbers were accessed thru one jack on the modem. Comcast claims this is not true on the T25. Must I use both jacks on the modem in order to have both phone numbers?

When me and my roommate got our internet setup for the G34 on of the setup in the app requires your to make an account, in this process there was never a password asked to be setup, when this happened we couldn’t continue to login in to our router through the IP web address. Does anyone know how to maybe press a forgot password or outright change it or does anyone  know what this password may be? We’ve already tried the router password and other passwords we could’ve used but didn’t and even just tried not using one nothing works.

I am using Sparklight and considering stopping the lease on their Arris DG1670. This is an old modem/router. Any recommendations for a newer model. the speed I am using is up to 300 GPS. I would need the WIFI to be 2.4 GHz N + 5 GHz AX.If I continue my lease with Sparklight they would provide a  Hitron Coda 57. I have not had experience with the HItron. Any thoughts?Any feedback would be appreciated.

I purchased an arris surfboard g34 and had it set up and activated through Spectrum.  I can't get the internet to connect. The message I get is connected but without internet on both lines. I called Spectrum and they said the modem is up and running fine on their end so they told me to contact you because perhaps the router is not connecting. Please help

When I try and download the Surfboard Central app on my PC it only shows my mobile devices available.  How do I get SBC to recognize my PC?

Sb6183 unable to connect to activate

I set up both 2G and 5G guest accounts on my SBG6950AC2 modem/router. However they are not  shown/offered as Wi-Fi options. How do I get them to be made available? 

I recently purchased an SB6190 and it seems to be working fine but I’m a little concerned about how warm it gets. If I aim an infrared thermometer at the top I get a reading of 103 - 106 degrees and roughly 85 degrees on either side. If I place my hand on the top it’s quite warm but not what I’d describe as hot though definitely warmer than any modem I’ve owned in the past. Is this normal for these units ? Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

G34 has no internet and flashs blue.

My old Arris surfboard router/modem combo died and so I replaced it with the G34.  With my old Arris surfboard I had my laptop setup with the windows DLNA media to share media files with my Samsung TV's in my house.  Worked almost flawless in discovering the DLNA and playing videos.  I activated my G34 via Xfinity and it’s been almost nothing but problems I've had to work through.  I can connect to the internet and have eventually connected to smart lights and other discoverable items but the biggest issue is that my TV's no longer find the DLNA server to stream videos to my TV.  It has to be a setting on the G34 somewhere but I don’t know what to change.  Does it have something to do with IpV6 vs IpV4 or the UPnP?  My firewall is off and everything is set up correctly on my laptop to share files.

I just purchased a new W21, I now have 3 W21 units in my mesh network. I am trying to confirm if the wired backhaul I setup to one of the units is working. But I cannot find anywhere in the app where I can check this setup.I am using version 4.3.3 of the app on my I phone. Is there anyone that can help me confirm the wired backhaul is working?

I have an established WiFi network at my house.  There are usually 20-25 devices logged on.  The network uses an ARRIS W21 with a W21 extender.  It has worked great for 2-3 years.  I have computers, cell phones, gaming systems, security cameras all successfully working.  I wanted to add a 2.4GHz (only) device and so i wanted to log into my router to momentarily disable the 5.6GHz band.  My Surfboard Central app was uninstalled from my cell phone, so i downloaded it and ran it but it hangs because the SC app can’t find the router.  I disconnected all the wired devices (not the cable modem LAN connection) and it won’t connect no matter what i do.  The error on my cell phone is: ‘Couldn’t find your mAX router.  We are not able to find your mAX Router nearby.’  Well, i’m standing next to it with WiFi enabled on my phone….NOTHING.  I’ve spent hours on this.  Please help me re-establish the Surfboard Central app so i can manage the router that is otherwise successfully working great.  Thank

I have a G36 I bought a little over two years ago that I use with Comcast.  I haven't had any issues with the modem.  The last 2 months I keep losing internet connection but still have the solid blue light. Only way to get internet back is to unplug and plug the power to the modem. This is getting ridiculous because there are some days I have to do this 5-6 times especially with my wife working from home. Anyone else having this issue. I hope I don’t have to replace this modem already.

My Arris G34 has developed a problem where every 20 minutes or so I will no longer have internet access but the modem is still connected to the network. I am able to log into my ISP’s website using my cellphone’s mobile data to initiate a reboot of the device and after several minutes I will regain my internet connection. This problem is simultaneously occurring on both my PC which has a wired connection and phone which is connected through Wi-Fi. Looking at other similar posts, I see where it was recommended that I check the cable signal levels 3 times and provide information about my plan through my ISP. I am attaching all relevant information. when i logged in before, it wanted the default “admin/password” combo. but now:1: it redirects to a screen saying “please log in first”2: it now wants an email that i used to set up the device. i was never prompted to make an email, so i have no email to use, save for the one i just made for this community post. For a newly installed SBV3202 with Comcast, everything is working great for both internet and voice but there’s one remaining irritating problem: regardless of Comcast voicemail status I get a stutter tone before every dial tone. Comcast tech came out and we could not clear it, including communicating with the central office who reprovisioned the modem, reset all features on the headend switch, and we of course power cycled the modem. We also tried it with the battery installed and without.More details: Battery LED is always off, I get reasonable text on the modem’s CM State page of “No Status Reported” and with the battery in it shows a Battery Serial Number and Part Number. The SBV3202 manual says on p. 21, “The SBV3202 will transmit a two-second stutter tone when the battery level is low.” But I don’t think it’s low (Batt LED off, modem works fine when I pull the plug). Just hooked up my new G34, connected to the internet and it worked perfect….for about 6 hours, then shut down. I unplugged it and waited about 5 minutes, plugged it back in. Nothing. Unplugged again and waited 10 minutes, meanwhile called my service provider to see if there was an outage in the area. No. Plugged back in and red light, then flashing lights, then flashing blue light, then blue light and I was connected. Now I’m not impressed if it only lasts 6 hours and has to be rebooted. I need it replaced as I work from home and getting dropped while logged into my team is not a good thing. Downtime costs me money. I’m thinking of buying something else and returning. It didn’t even come with a manual, so I have no idea what all the lights meant! so frustrated.  Suggestions or ideas are welcome...please?

if this modem supports moca, does it support moca 2.5 or only 2.0?
