Hello, I have followed the instructions to activate my modem - SB6190.  The middle two lights are blue.  The online & power buttons are white.  I do not have internet access.  In addition, the setup instructions requested I use the COAX cable provided by my network provider.  In doing so, I had to unplug the coax cable from my router as I only have one Coax outlet In my apartment.  I believe this has now resulted in my router being disconnected as well.   Please advise.   

 I need to change my wifi security to be able to connect my Canon MX922 printer to my G36 router, apparently. But when I go to the Arris login page (192 168.0 1) it says that my login credentials are invalid and that I need to use my email address from the app, which I am. It doesn’t give me any other options. I can see all of my network info on the screen at the login screen, I just can’t modify any of it without it accepting my login. I’m about to lose my mind. I’ve spent so many hours trying to do this over the last 2 weeks I just want to scream.  Now I can’t even use my printer cable hard wired into my computer to print, I used to be able to before.

Over the last week several time for no reason G34 restarts. Amber blu and green led fronts flash etc.. All Ethernet in back go dark at start. Sometimes when it reboots I get usable internet for 2-3 minutes then reboots again and nothing. Unplugged it last night. My ISP is Astound in Chicago area.This morning plugged back in booted up and has been good for an hour. ALSO HOW CAN I FRLASH THE FIRMWARE UPDATE???? Don’t tell my m ISP will do this . I own this G34. Any Ideas??

Can i connect a switch to the 10G port on the G54 ?

Some how my login password, which is password, expands to numerous ********** and will not allow me to change back to password. Tried clearing cache  etc but no lunch.  Need some help so I don't have to keep putting in default passwords for wifi access. Thanks,

Sb8200 been running nearly a year and it's decided to not connect to the internet, won't connect to the configuration page either via ethernet direct connection.  Is there an update out there or is this thing simply broken? Any help here appreciated

Hi Team,I am totally new to this and not a tech savy person.I was able to open the web page, 192.168.100.1, But i cannot login using the default password.Is there anyway to reset the admin password?Also once we login into the web page can we update the firmware?Can we get to know the connection statistics?

I try to log in to my G34 router via the browser GUI settings and it says the certificate is not valid in any browser used, Chrome, Firefox. I was able to log in in December 2023, but have been unable to since.I have updated all browsers but to no avail.

how do i connect my arris g54 to my arris 133 mesh system

I have over 50 wireless devices in my household from “smart light bulbs, Amazon Devices, TVs, Xboxs, Smart Phones, Smart Energy Meters, & Home Security”.   How many wireless devices can this router truly support.  I am fully aware of how many routable addresses are available by default, but this device seems to become inconsistent around 30 devices or so. Any help would be great… and I still hate the fact that I can’t access this device using the mobile application without having to go through the entire setup phase again. This may become a $200 paperweight very soon. Cheers :)

Whrn i open the app and click the “network” tab it just apins and never loads.   Should i delete app and reinstall?

My arris sb8200 stopped working this morning.  Any ideas? All the light cycle through and flash. 

S33 & Xfinity gigabyte plan Past few days  I have been experiencing frequent outages. Usually a reboot of the modem and routers resolves it but the past few times the speeds are not coming back to what they should be. I took a look out the downstream channels and saw a lot of corrections and uncorrectable(s). This screen shot was taken with a modem uptime of about 20 minutes.   Spoke with Xfinity rep and basically said everything is good on their end and to contact manufacturer.  If anyone could provide any suggestions I am all ears. 

I have an SBG10 modem and router. I have used the default login info and can check status but I can’t figure out where to go to manage devices. Anyone know how to guide me?  TIA

Yesterday, a technician from Xfinity came to my house for wiring.He said everything was fine with the line, but no internet connection was found. He said I have to set up something with the SBG10. I followed all the instructions in the manual, but the internet connection failed.I can see ARRIS-7E05 and ARRIS-7E05-5G in the Wi-Fi list on my laptop. When I connect to them, the internet is not working, and the connection is not established. One strange thing is that if I connect them with my iPhone, I can only access YouTube and Google. When I access Google and click on some other links, I can't see anything. All other websites are not accessible.What is the problem? Is there something wrong with Xfinity?

I tried to use the Surfboard app it won't load I tried calling the number they not open what is going on did the close for business. I need my wifi. Especially my security camera is running of that now its off line

Am unable to get Ring Stick Up Camera online.  Setup was “successful” but camera is offline.  Extensive testing with Ring Technical Support failed to resolve the issue or diagnose the cause.  All other devices work perfectly. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be and how it can be fixed? Thanks in advance.

Like most I’m on Xfinity with my own S33 modem. I updated my service to an 800Mbps/100Mbps plan and haven’t been able to get anywhere higher than 11.8Mbps uploads on the Xfinity speedtest site. A tech came out and ran a new line today and we removed a splitter that was no longer needed and he said the signal levels were much improved. The only thing I’ve seen improve so far is the number of correctable and uncorrectable errors on channel 1 have gone away with the new line. Otherwise, the power levels on the upstream connection actually seem to have dropped (maybe that’s ok) from 47.5 dBmV to 43.0 dBmV. I’m still not getting any higher than the 11.8Mbps even though I’d expect to at least hit 20Mbps if they still haven’t opened up support to 100Mbps to the S33.Here are the levels from the modem status page after the new line was installed (and splitter removed). Does anything stand out as a problem? Xfinity support replied that they’re showing downstream SNR is at 44.5 and your upstream

wireless router (as did the neighborhood) lost power for a moment … now I can’t find our network and need some expert advice 

I live in a place with many WiFi access points around me.  In order to get good connectivity, I set my 5G radio control to manual and select a free channel.  It works well and i get good throughput.  The problem is that even though the control is set to manual mode, every morning when i start working, I find that the radio has switch itself back to one of the very busy channels and i have to login a switch back.  It seems that in “manual” mode, it lets you select a channel, but it still does an audit every day and overrides your selection.  Also, the view the WiFi’s view of channel use is different from my computers view.I would like to be able to force the router onto a specific channel and lock it.

I was hoping to setup 2 routers on a newly purchased SB8200 modem. I had one router configured as 192.168.1.0/24 and the other as 192.168.2.0/24I have been Googling but am stumped. I was hoping to have 2 isolated networks - if it’s possible.If there’s a KB floating around, or if anyone has some guidance, I would sure appreciate it any help.Thank you, and my apologies for a rookie question.

Where is the SSID number for a new modem? 

Brand new out of box and Ethernet ports do not work. They flash green during startup but then stay dark. I'm just going to return via Amazon if there's no real advice.  The WiFi is just fine.
