First, yes, I did scan the questions and I did see a similar one answered, but I have questions from that.Previously I had the SB6190 and just upgraded to the SB8200 to get the DOCIS 3.1 plus the GB ethernet ports.Linksys Atlas Pro 6 Mesh Router worked fine with the SB6190 and I could easily access the modem page if needed without using a “direct” connection. In other words I could from my wired computer access the 192.168.100.1 page address in the browser on the computer.Now I can’t.Same router, same computer, same browser with new SB58200. Just won’t connect. I changed nothing on the router settings, so it really makes no sense the router is involved in blocking the access.Note well: I am not wanting to change anything. But occasionally I look at the logs just to see if there is anything “off”.I am NOT trying to access via WiFi, or wirelessly.Short of moving my computer to the proximity of the SB8200 how can I open the access via my

Ive used the xfinity app to set it up and they say everything is fine on their end, but unit isn’t getting data

How can I access the S33 modem configuration using WiFi?when I type the IP address 192.168.100.1  OR 10.0.0.1 , I get an error message stating error 404.My computer does not have an ethernet port. Please advise

On my SB8200 when I go to 192.168.100.1 and login, it pops up a window saying you need to login first.  I click Close and it takes me back to login screen.  I cant get in. I’m wanting to check the logs today see why my modem reboots constantly. I did a modem reset and still does the sane thing. I tried accessing modem from an iPhone, iPad and computer using safari and chrome with all the same issues. 

Hey guys. I bought this modem in Nov2019 off Amazon. It’s been sitting in storage, new in the packaging ever since, while I went through the longest divorce in history.House is sold, new life beginning, and I ordered up new service with Comcast, at the new place. Tried to hook up my own modem with their support, and opened the Arris box, gave them my MAC ID and SN and they are telling me both of those are already in use.Tech said sometimes the manufacturer will rent inactive numbers out, and to ask for a release or replacement. I couldn’t find a call number to reach Arris. Where do I begin?

I recently got one of these modems through some Facebook group from someone that didn't need it anymore. I'm trying to set it up and do a factory reset in order to get it to work with my internet provider, but this is frustrating to say the least. If there is a number I can call for direct assistance, I'd prefer that.  If not, my problem is I can't get to any of the online web addresses the ANA tells me to go to because my phone doesn't have older browsers. Seeing as that's step two in a factory reset, I'm really at a loss.

WHY CAN’T I REGISTER NEW MODEM?????????????????????????

The modem all of a sudden stopped working. Arris surfboard SB6190. It blinks the second light and power light nothing else. My ASUS router is telling me the modem is offline, I have power cycled it already

I have an Arris S33 modem which I activated on May 27, which replaced a Comcast Xfinity supplied gateway.Since activation, I’ve discovered my internet connection drops every day at around 1AM and connection returns within 5 minutes.  Never longer than that. The schedule is the same every day and has not changed.  It is not just Wi-Fi but also when connected via ethernet on my desktop computer.I have an Amplifi Alien mesh router which is up-to-date firmware wise but I've already ruled it out as the culprit. During my weeks of troubleshooting, I've been on my desktop computer directly connected to the modem as well.When I lose connection at 1:00 AM, my Xfinity app says it is "Offline".  My Alien app shows device is not connected to the internet and "No Internet Connection" is displayed on it's screen.Looking for some help in further troubleshooting this issue.  Where should I be looking especially when the connection drops at same time every day?I’m

I setup the Arris Sb8200 model in my home.After install and registered somehow it shows I installed the Sb6141 model although the s/n is correct. Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling?

Howdy, just moved to a new location and we're trying to get things running. We purchased an s33 for use with xfinity and a friend gave us an aruba 315 for use instead of a router. This will eventually change to being modem > switch > cable run to 2 rooms > AP, but for now we're just trying to get wireless working.The modem is registered/activated and the blue light is constant. We've power cycled the modem and AP, swapped cables, etc but still no internet. Hardwiring from modem to a laptop doesn't give a connection either.What next steps should we be taking here? Comcast has already been out and checked the coax and it was "good to go" but I'm less inclined to take their word.

My ISP provides Arris TM3402A cable modems. Work great most of time, and get the 50M download speed I pay for. Recently though, have an issue were modem stops working with internet.The ping loss rate to the local name server is generally 0 with occasional 1-10 drops.Generally, those are fine, but then it will sometimes jump to 60% to 100% and internet becomes useless.Can still access the cable modem on 192.168.100.1.Have a script that sends 50 pings to the name server every 2 minutes.If loss is less than 10% ignore it, but if higher report it with a sound.Generally, if it goes higher than 50% the internet goes out, and next check goes higher, and eventually stays at 100%. Power cycling modem is only way to get it working again.The web page doesn’t have a reboot option? Does have an advanced tab, but that requires a daily password??  So only pulling power to reset.Then it is back to working? Had a surfboard modem, and recall it

Hi! I recently upgraded my ISP plan to go from 400mbps to 800mbps down. After trouble shooting directly with my ISP and my router, I still receive the same speeds (~400mbps down). I have tried testing my speeds on different devices and different locations. Is there anything I can do directly with my Surfboard Modem or settings I can configure? I don’t have a device right now that has an ethernet port that I can directly plugin to the modem to check speeds from there. Thank you!

I got a new SURFboard modem and connected everything but I can’t get online. I was told that the modem needs to be activated, can someone help with that?

I had to replace my old modem due to it being destroyed by a family member, but when I received a new modem, it did not come with a wifi security key unlike my previous modem. Am I just blind or dumb?

How do I log in to my modem to see how old it is?

I connected my new modem, then 24 hours later no internet. The modem is hot to the touch and doesn’t light up. Should I just return this thing and get a different brand?

SB8200 bought around Oct. 2022. Still in warranty. Will not connect to internet. Power light and second light are on, third light comes on and blinks twice then goes off, fourth light never comes on. Operated very hot before this. Dropped out several times during my internet session and had to reset power to correct. Need someone to help me replace modem. I worked with an Arris tech for a long time on 06/23/23. Called and had a technician come out and check my internet. He said there was nothing wrong. No luck! He installed a modem off his truck and told me to check back with Arris. HELP! 

How can I improve my wifi calling?

My modem suddenly stopped transmitting a signal to my router. The modem seems to have no problem with receiving an Internet signal but the router is no longer receiving a signal from it.

Spectrum said they not no longer Version 6 SB8200 is compatible with their network. Do I need to buy V7? Or can possibly update firmware??

My signals are good, event log from yesterday attached.  It did it again this morning.  I can’t tell if it’s an ISP initiated reboot but two mornings in a row seems unlikely.  Also, is this thing supposed to run warm?  I’m about ready to ship it back. 

SB8200 modem has all lights on as expected but I’m unable to connect to the network.  I called out internet provider and after running some tests said it must be the modem.  What else can I do to diagnose the problem since I cannot get help from the internet provider and I do not seem to see a phone number for tech support for my arris modem?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  

I have a arris model dg3450 got unplugged from the wall and now the online light blinking blue fast and WiFi light is solid green it got unplugged and ever since it’s been doing this 

I have routed IPTV, I got the box today. At first it want to download the new release. Does anyone knowns the IP address (or hostnames) it wants to download the software from? If I put it into the Video VLAN (seperate from Internet traffic) it succeed.
