What are my upgrade options to my XB3 that’s compatible with my Comcast essentials program landline phone and internet services?

I am so perplexed!!! All of a sudden I am  unable to connect to all my devices at home. I contacted my Spectrum service provider and they advised that I needed to contact the modem company. I know that there’s no issue with my internet because many of my devices are still in use, but my macbook, xboxes and Roku TV which all worked prior to 2 days ago are no longer connecting to the internet. We’ve done factory resets and disconnections and restarts of these devices and nothing works. Can someone suggest what the problem may be.

Have my Arris Surfboard S33v2 (using the 2.5G port) hooked up to my Eero 6+ router via a 1.5ft Cat Ethernet cable with Spectrum as my ISP (only currently available in area but hopefully getting Fidium soon).  I use the other of 2 ports in the Eero for a wired connection to my Xbox.   My question is this: am I able to use the open 1G port in the MODEM to connect via internet to anything?  When I try with TV or Xbox, it says I need to enable DHCP for Xbox, or DNP for TV.  Some things have said call ISP to activate another modem port, called spectrum and they say they can’t do that, they can only activate the coax cable.  Any help or ideas?

I just bought the new modem about a month ago to replace another Arris modem. Several times a day, we lost internet for a couple minutes. Every time we lost internet, it is due to the modem randomly shutting down and rebooting. I am having Xfinity out tomorrow morning to take a look at things. Is there anything I should look out for? Is there anything I can fix? Thanks

My s33 modem lights cycle from white, green than solid amber for two minutes and the cycle repeats. I tried hard resetting the modem but the button seems broken and there is no give or tension. I’ve left the power unplugged for hours but it wouldn’t sync with Xfinity. I got a new modem from Xfinity and that works. I’d like to get a replacement as it’s only 6 months since I bought it

So I was wondering if in some way, without a plus hardver, is there an option to setup the Arris TG3442 to automatically restart periodically?

Yesterday we kept getting an error message saying that we inputting putting the wrong password on our both our cell phones and both our iPads. My phone confirm that we had the right password, but it will not let us log on. What should I do next?

Hello community! After a firmware update, default password for the device control panel was changed to default WI-FI PSK. Current user manual guides to check default PSK from the sticker attached to the device. This device does not have such sticker. How can I regain the control over the device as firmware was updated and I ended up not having access to my router/modem? Many thanks for the answers!

I tried upgrading my mesh network to Eero 6+ from a Tp link Deco system on an Xfinity isp. The Eero wont connect to the modem. I tried everything I know but the only way I can get it to connect is to connect the eero to the tp link router instead of the modem. Is it a gateway issue that I need to allow permissions in the S33 for the eero so i dont have to use the Tp Link?

When I originally set up my home network using a 10.0.0.# IP scheme I swear I could access the SB8200 web browser interface by using 192.168.100 from a computer on my home network with a 10.0.0.# IP address.  I know it worked then, because I know I reset the modem’s default admin password.  Now I can successfully ping the SB8200 192.168.100.1 IP address, but trying to access the browser interface eventually times out the browser.  The router is a Linksys MR7500 and the ISP is Comcast / XFINITY.  I have also tried a default reset on the modem and I still cannot access the modem via the web browser interface.Any ideas why I can’t access the modem’s web interface?  Do I need to set up special routing on my Lynksys router?  Any help would be appreciated.

For the last few weeks my modem has been randomly dropping off line. I was wondering if I could get my event logs analyzed. 

The time is off 1 hour on my SB8200. Is there a way to set the time manually?

I purchase the S33 that was factory renewed.  It is working fine but the Default admin password is not the serial number. Is there a way to reset the device back to factory default with out it Or and generic PW is may have been set to for testing? Thank you

Have reset the router and had Cox cable confirm Old netgear router will work and pc ethernet connected to modem connect to internet but When attempting to set up Eero gateway signalsno internet 

I’m seeing comments about white power light and connection light, but is a white send or upload light an issue?  download is blue upload and power are white - no internet

If I read the spec correctly, my SB6190 is a 32x8 channel bandwidth.  It can handle 800 downand I have not confirmed the upload yet but have read different statements all fasterthan 50 up. COX told me they have a new program now offering 500/50. I currently have 500/10.The sales Rep told me anyone with 500 down will get 50 up.  I told them I am still onlygetting 10 up and this is after rebooting the modem.COX is telling me because it’s a 3.0 modem and can’t handle the upload speed of 50.About 3 years ago I used to have 300/30 with no issues with download and upload. This doesn’t sound right based on the spec of the modem. especially being a 32x8 channel modem.I have no faith in COX customer service as they have been wrong so many times in the past.Should the SB6190 work at 500/50 which is actually slower than the faster spec of the SB6190. Thank you, 

So long story short , i was tinkering with a old model of an arris router from my local isp , it was showing some slow speeds between 1 to2 mb and the owner is paying for 50mb So i saw something about natted mode or  bridged mode somewhere in the management page and clicked Briged and it rebooted right away without it asking for a save Now its back up and only one device can be connected at a time , the speed is better but all the other devices on the network are without internet1st obvious solution is to connect to the modem manually but i don’t have access to that, its locked in a room Somewhere So my question is , is there any other way to access it wirelessly, it doesn’t go by the 192.168.xxx anymore it legit has random ips now  , and the gateways for those don’t work Thanks in advance for any help 

Hi, I am not sure if my ISP is pushing the latest software version to my SB 8200. How do I confirm if I have the latest version? I see listed on the admin page the following hardware version 6software version ab01.01.009.51_080720_183.0A.NSHis that the latest?

Just purchased brand new S33 modem. All labels indicating S33v2 (Version 2). When accessing my modem portal (192.168.100.1) Product Information page showing V1.0   Which version do i have?

I'm only getting 400 or 500 speeds and 150  the downloads are 14 on laptop and 25 to 30 on xbox

I recently switched to Voiply internet phone service and I am having issues with them registering my adapter. When I did chat with them, they said I need to disable my SIP ALG. When I did research on how to disable on a SB8200 I read it should be at advanced settings. But when I go to advance settings the only option I see is to enable Link Aggregation Configuration (it is currently disabled). I am at a lost on how to disable. Any ideas would be appreciated.
