How can I perform a complete factory reset that will return the WiFi name and password to the information listed on the gateway modem? I cannot remember the user name and passkey I set up and the admin reset does not work to reset the user name and passkey. 

I have a question regarding my Arris Touchstone Cable Modem (Model # CM820A/NA), and can’t find any related information here or elsewhere online. I installed MoCA adapters into my home network to replace the powerline network adapters that stopped working.  While preparing to install the MoCA adapters, I read that it's recommended to install a POE filter at the cable service entry point to help block interference from nearby homes.  I also read that some cable modems have these filters built-in, so I'm trying to determine if mine does. I read somewhere that the CM820A modem has a built-in MoCA® Immunity Filter.  Unfortunately, the online specifications for the CM820A/NA don't mention the filter, so I'm not sure if it has one. I can't find anything describing the differences between the CM820A and the CM820A/NA, so I can't tell if my CM820A/NA has one of these filters built-in.  I'm also not sure if the CM820A and th

How do I obtain  Warranty Support for an Arris Surfboard SB8200 router?

My 2 year old Surboard 6190 modem has been dropping connections lately and I’ve not been able to return it to stable performance. It’ll be fine for a while and then drop repeatedly for a hour just because.I’ve done the unplug/plugin and the hard reset without improving the stability, the cable provider confirms no service interruptions and the tv which comes through the same line is unaffected.In the past, this type of behavior was a sign that firmware needed update, but I cant even figure out if this product allows or requires firmware update. I  moved addresses recently, but am using Comcast/Xfinity as my  cable provider in both places.  My Arris SD6141 was working fine at Address 1 but not at Address 2.  Comcast entered the modem into their system (I had to create a new Comcast account).  They can find my modem, but I can’t pick up my system on any of my devices. My network name doesn’t show up on any of my devices.  Any suggestions?  Comcast said they can’t do anything on their end.  Is it time for me to simply replace my modem and start over?  Any help would be appreciated. 

Hi, when I first connect my modem and activated through Zito. The modem down stream turns blue, the rest are green. I have internet connection for about 7 months now, but 2 weeks ago my down stream light turns green. Now I have no internet. I was able to ping couple of sites like google.com.  I called Zito and they said they did maintenance on my signal remotely and all my signals are within acceptable range 27-37 SNR.  troubleshooting steps I took so far. None fixes my problem restart modem reset modem  plug in to modem directly using computer/other devices bypassing router  turn-off modem, unplug coax and waited 2 minutes. Reassembled everything in reverse order.  tried different DNS in router 

Just got the SB8200 yesterday. Activated thru Spectrum. I tried to login at 192.165.100.1 . It keeps telling my wrong user name and wrong password. I did the factory reset. Still won’t let me login. What else can I do? Please

As the post states, I can’t see the modem...maybe because I can’t see it through my router? Am trying to connect via wifi, should I connect hard to the modem itself? I don’t see a cable input to do that.

How often are updates sent to Comcast to update our modem‘s at home?

Struck by lighting they replaced outside cable and power plug to splitter my Wi-Fi works but ethernet does not I have a Surfboard model SVG2482AC 

Are there any known Arris Surfboard attacks that would allow a Surfboard cable modem to be used as a data relay. The reason I ask is that Xfinity is reporting over double the amount of data that my Eero gateway reports. One month it’s 195% and another month it’s 206% and this month it’s 297%. I can’t think of any source of data that Xfinity would see that wouldn’t also be seen by the Eero gateway.

Any time I am using my computer,y internet disconnect automatically. 

Hello guys i just recently purchase an combo of Arris S33 + W21 mAX router, in the store they advice me to set up the S33 on bridge mode to install the mAX router, but am not able to find the Bridge mode on the settings of my S33

I was told I could get all the information I needed through the GUI.  What is that and how do I do it?

I need help! I’m moving to a new home and my mom gave me her old modem but I do not see a reset button on this modem, I used to have one ARRIS device that had that button on the back but I do not find any buttons on this modem, please help!!!

 It is possible that you need to contact your service provider.Using the SURFboard Central mobile app, the self-serve portal works with Comcast, Charter and Cox most of the time.For other service providers, you may need to contact.  The App helps you get the information you will need if you call.

What's the difference between all these modems?  Don't they all do the same thing?

Do your refurbished modems work as well as your new modems?  If so, why pay more for new modem, what’s the difference?
