I can’t get into the Arris - Login. I activated the Surf Board mobile app, but it only asked for my email, and did not ask for a password. When I access the site, it asks for an email, and won’t let me type admin for a user and use password to login. How do I find the password? I tried doing a factory reset as well.

I need to change my password, any ideas, I don't know the admin password

Forgive me if this topic has been covered but could find no other topic on it already. I have a G-36 cable tri band wifi modem (owned) in bridge mode so that I can try to take advantage of the 250mps speed service from Mediacom. I have 3 W30 satellite's setup using the mobile app. I have connected the main w30 to act as the router to the other two. When I log into the WEB interface of my G-36 I see this: I do not seem to be able to get more than 100mps to any of my devices (ckd using speed test on my mobile phone). Can anyone tell me if I have this bridge mode setup properly in order to get past 100mps? Is this a limitation of the Web interface? (it only shows connection speeds of 10-100-1000) Trying to use connection speed of 1000mps and checking auto config. will not save in the GUI interface. NOT using the auto config checked with 1000mps causes the W30’s to go offline or not transmit wifi.

What app works with the SB 8200

WiFi signal is intermittent. Connections are fine using direct Ethernet. I’ve restarted multiple times and have left it unplugged for 48 hours. Signal is there, but intermittency increases with time. Anything I’m missing?

Just purchased a USED Arris G-36 and initial setup was fine. I had internet connection and WIFI going to all my smart devices. 2 days later, I have NO WIFI coming from the modem it seems? Logged into modem and used the (Spectrum Analyzer) and it shows NO other channels/Mac SSID etc. around me in the hood. I have ethernet connected to my desktop and this works fine. I have already done the following: > Called Mediacom to ensure setup and that modem shows up on network. (Logs from modem show initialization and also shows them re-initializing on day I called them 2 days later after losing radio signals on device.) > Power reset > Modem restart of WIFI > Manual channel changes (still no connection to the smart devices) > Used EVERY option in Restart/Restore while logged into the modem Does this likely mean the WIFI radio software/hardware is no good? Should I return this as a defective modem? Or, is there something else anyone can suggest I try to get the wifi radio signals going?

Hi - I just bought and connected my G36 modem. I was able to connect all my devices except my Samsung SMART TV. My network isn’t even showing up on the list. I tried to add it and it still won’t show up. Any suggestions?

Brand new S33 shows as being active on Cox support side. I get a solid blue light but no connectivity when connected via Ethernet. I get a webpage from Cox saying my device isn’t active. When I try to activate it, it says it’s not compatible. Attempted to connect to a wireless router and the SSID continually shows as No Internet. Not real sure what to do.

i have a arris model# sbg7600ac2 i need to know how to use the 2.4ghz and 5ghz wi-fi at the same time. i have 5ghz for my pc and tvs in the house. i am trying to install a security system that runs on 2.4ghz how can i use both at the same time

I recently purchased the new SP 34 surfboard modem. My old modem was in the bedroom so I hooked up the new modem in the bedroom. I got everything connected to my wireless network and everything was working fine however I wanted to move the modem to my basement And now I cannot connect anything please help

I have a SB6183 cable modem that I’ve been using with a NETGEAR R6300v2 router that’s worked great until a bad thunderstorm came through and did something to my internet/wifi. The technician said I need a new router. I connected a NETGEAR AX1600 WiFi 6 Router and it didn’t seem to fix the issue. Should it? Any router recommendations that would be compatible with a SB6183?

Need to connect to 2.4 GHz to activate security camera

So many issues: I can setup the initial router. But it just hangs on “add a satellite” with “next” doing nothing. Cancel works just great. Assuming I give up on adding a satellite (which I am not) once the initial router is up and running (and working) if I exit the app on the phone and restart it, it wants to redo the entire setup of the initial router over again. Should I just return this ?

Connected to Spectrum, Activated modem, but now can only connect to certain websites. Google- mail and news are ok, as are a few others. Others sites like MSN, Steam, and most video sites if they do load, buffer and stutter. this happens on all devices attached to my network, ethernet and wi-fi. very frustrating.

I have an odd cell phone and printer from one of my neighbors showing in the Surfboard Central app after running a scan. I would like to deny this IP or Mac device but I find no option to do so using the SB Central app. I could do this if I log directly into my G-36 modem using the web interface but right now I have Wifi OFF so that the W30’s on my mesh setup handle the devices in my home. Does anyone have instructions on how to knock unwanted devices off your channels?

All light show on with the 5g and 2.4g Wi-Fi lights occasionally blinking no devices get internet when connected and the Wi-Fi lights start blinking haywire anytime you attempt to connect something I’ve unplugged in and plugged it back in reset it with the button on the back checked outlets checked cables for damage and waited hours nothing works

Hey all, I have been using an S33 over the past year with Cox, this is my first time owning my own cable modem as when I had spectrum the modem was free so no need to cut costs and it was a stable modem. Anyway, I’ve noticed over the past year the blue LEDs have gotten very dim, and act as some of them have gone out. The amber and green LEDs are normal brightness. I have gone into the modem settings and have set the front lights to be off under normal conditions, since I only need to know if there are issues, anyway. My question is, should I be concerned of future modem failure? Right now it works fine and my connection is stable. The modem is registered with Arris and has Warranty coverage until November of next year.

My SBG10 keeps dropping WiFi. If I reboot it it will come back up, but it’s been doing it a lot lately and I called my cable company and it not at their end. I think it’s a problem with the modem. Any ideas?

As stated: SBG7600AC2 usb not recognzing 250GB drive. It does recognize 128GB (both sandisk thumb drives). Is there a limit to the drive size? Can you suggest another solution to this? I purchased an Arris Surfboard SB8200 back in January this year and it just kicked the bucket a couple days ago. Everything was running normally, but suddenly I lost WiFi and I noticed that the Surfboard didn't have any lights up. I unplugged the unit and it was very hot to the touch. Clearly, the hardware has failed. I took the unit back to the Best-Buy I bought it from, but since I didn't buy the protection plan, they told me there was nothing they could do. They let me know that I need to contact the manufacturer and ask about their warranty. Apparently there is a one-year warranty, and I should be eligible since the unit didn't even last a full six months. Well now. Is everybody with an Arris happy? Probably not. Like the saying goes, “You can fool some of the people all of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all of the time.” Yea, I got fooled, but only for about a week. I bought an Arris G34 DOCSIS 3.1 to replace a perfectly good DOCSIS 3.0 that was no longer supported by my Internet Provider. I reviewed a dozen or so sites (like CNET, PC Mag, etc.) that review and rank combo modem-routers. The Arris G34 was consistently ranked at or near the top of nearly every review. So, the choice was obvious – Arris G34. Following the setup procedures (including contacting my Internet Provider) I had the G34 setup in about 30 minutes. Great, it was much faster than my old 3.0. The base G34 ‘seemed’ to work very well, that is until I tried to connect it to my wireless devices. It connected solidly to my TVs. My S33 modem was working great. Then 2 days ago I went to access printables.com to find something to 3d print. The site wouldn’t load. This was curious because I could stream netflix, apple tv, youtube, prime, and my son wasn’t experiencing any lag on Marvel Rivals. To add to the issue, I could access the site just fine from my cell phone connected to the same network. I finally punched in the ip adress to my modem and found in the event log a Timing Synchronization failure with a date of 1970. I checked with the ISP and the issue seems to be isolated to my house so I either have an issue with a coaxial connection or my modem has a problem. This begs the question, is there a firmware update for the S33 that could resolve this? Is my S33 on the brink of failing? I believe the timing synchronization issue is what’s preventing me from accessing certain websites but I’m not certain.

Model arris SBG10 telling me my log in credentials have changed. Please help, I cannot access the menu for the update.

When I activated my ARRIS router way back in 2019, I gave it a custom USERNAME and PASSWORD. I tried logging in today using the two I chose, or at least wrote down. It will not let me in. I tried the factory default (username: admin and password: password) No go. My question is...is there anyway to reset my logon username and password without doing a factory reset?
