I now use fiber, and no longer have any use for the modems or the Surfboard community. What’s the best method of termination?  

My Arris 34 is missing the OFDMA channel. I did have it, but then it disappeared.  Log from my Firewalla router. See attached 10/15 upload speed good at 346mbps. That’s what is supposed to happen. On the other days you can see the upload speed hits a ceiling <85 mbps. Software/Firmware from Xfinity is the latest. Xfinity tech came out and put his field test modem on my line and indeed showed 2200 down and 400 up, but this S34 modem isn’t buying it.  What can I do here?   

The Arris web site won’t recognize my serial Number.  

I have an SBG10. Have forgotten password. Have looked at many responses. Still don't know what to do.

I forgot I had purchased this to upgrade my SB6190 until I had some connection issues and upgraded to 1m service for less.In starting up my SB8200 I had to go back and forth between the Ethernet ports for RJ-45 network cable connections to connect to the SB8200 Web Manager.  But I did so without using a username & password, why?Comcast (Xfinity) did maintenance and lost service for over a week.  I was able to a get connection, but it isn’t complete yet, get blue on downstream, but not upstream.They updated my software, I still need to go back and forth between the Ethernet ports for RJ-45 network cable connections to connect to the SB8200 Web Manager.  It still doesn’t need come up with the login page needing a username & password, why?I lose connection to it going from page to page and have to do it all over again to connect.  Also, if flashes a bottom part of the Configuration Page which I believe is where you can set a password but ends up only showing top part.I have done s

I currently have an old SurfBoard T25 which I use on Xfinity and is perhaps 8-10 years old and it’s a DOCSIS 3.0 modem has a theoretical max speed of 1gbps, recently due to changes in my plan I can get speeds up to 2gbps but I need a new modem with telephony to get it. Now apparently there is a new SurfBoard T25 which is DOCSIS 3.1 capable but the website description seems to contradict itself, this is the picture of the box:Which seems to claim that the max download speed is 2gbps, however on the product page here:Claims “Best for internet plans with up to 800 Mbps” which seems to conflict with what the actual box says. So what is that actual truth here and will this modem achieve up to 2Gbps download speeds on Xfinity?

We activated modem with ISP. Are able to see the home network but error indicating no internet available  

I bought an S34 but it doesn't have a port for my home phone service. What can I do? 

I have an Arris G34 modem. The problem is that I have some Cinnado security cameras that only connect to a 2.4 GHz network. I received three cameras, but I’ve only been able to connect one. I’ve already tried all the possible methods, but the other two won’t connect. I also verified that the cameras are working fine — I used my phone as a hotspot, and they connected there without any problem. So the issue seems to be with my modem’s connection.

I have a new Lenovo laptop Windows 11 and a five yr old Dell Inspiron.   We also have four rokus, two cell phones, another Lenovo Laptop about two yrs old.  They all got along great until this week when I logged in with my new laptop. For some reason it is only affecting my older Dell & my new Lenovo.    I thought at first it was the Norton Private Browser I installed so I uninstalled from both of my laptops.  I have unplugged the power from the back of the machine and then the wall to “reset” it numerous times.  Neither PC will auto connect to the internet but have it checked to do so.   I get a msg  “Some information changed since you last connected “ asking me to put in the network password.  I do speed tests throughout the day and it can range from 75 - 450 upload speeds.  I saw that there are firmware updates that people do???  Sorry I’m so clueless.   Thank you!   FYI - usually we only have two laptops and one Roku going at the same time

is it possible to get a firmware update for this modem?

i have SVG2482AC ARRIS modem/router , in use for several years. because i changed xfinity account,my eero devices did not work. then I went in the web 10.0.0.1 and unknowingly changed the setting to bridging mode. i lost internet. then i had to reset the modem for it to get wifi again. at that moment, I went to 10.0.0.1 web again to remove the bridging . but i could not get full access to my account. it says my account credentials are incorrect. i tried different combinations- like admin/admin, admin/password etc without luck. i even used the internet SSID and password written in the modem. please help me. Nishan

We've had the G34 for about four days.  We upgraded to this one because it's not too expensive but it does have parental controls.  I was able to label devices and set up a few profiles, but now all it does most of the time is load.  Every once in a while it lets me toggle the buttons to pause the Internet but it won't pause Internet to anything in the house.  The app seems so useless.  I wish there was a website where I could use the parental controls.  Are we missing something on the app?  I've force stopped it.  I cleared the cache.  I uninstalled it and reinstalled it.  Nothing has worked.  

I’m looking for a combo modem and router to replace an ARRIS TG1672G that I have from Spectrum. They say I need to upgrade my equipment but no longer offer any combo devices. I need the combo due to very limited space on my desk. My Ooma Telo currently connects directly to the TG1672G with a ribbon style ethernet cable. I’ve looked at the G18, G20 and G34 “Wi-Fi Cable Modems” on the surfboard website but under “Digital Voice Service Capability” they all say “NO”. I interpret this as meaning I couldn’t use the Ooma Telo with any of them. Am I correct or just misunderstanding the terminology? I believe Ooma Telo varies from other VoIP services like Spectrum’s own service, I certainly don’t understand the technical aspects of either. If a moderator or other in the know person could clarify this for me it will be very much appreciated. Thank You!

My Question is stated in the Title. Better Wifi  speed availability is sought everywhere in my home. 

I just today bought and then installed my new surfboard S33 cable modem. I used my ISPs activation site (breezeline) to try and activate. It mostly seems to be connected, I get a steady blue light on the modem itself, but I can only connect to my ISPs website. When I use my browser to connect to the modem via 192.168.100.1 it shows as connected and operational. However, whenever I try to access any other site, I'm met with a 'your connection is not private' (I'm on chrome). The specific error is 'net::err_cert_common_name_invalid'. If I try to download Firefox, I'm redirected to my ISPs website.  I have already talked with tech support from breezeline who said everything looks OK on their end and that it may take up to 24 hours for 'signals to synchronize', but it's been about 5 hours since I activated it and the idea of it taking 24 hours seems absurd.  One last thing, I had originally bought a hitron modem and tried to install yesterday and ran into the exact same problem, I thought

I just purchased and installed with Cox an Arris Surfboard modem model SB8200V3, which is a DOCSIS 3.1. I replaced an older version from 2019 which was a DOCSIS 3.0. The unit is working and providing a connection but the receive and send indicators are only a solid green, not a solid blue, which means it is operating as a 3.0 and not a 3.1. The tech from Cox went through and confirmed all the necessary requirements to operate at 3.1. Does anyone know why it’s not at blue or 3.1? I tried calling the for Arris, but the call always drops and is never answered. Is there an issue with Arris?

Is the SB6183 compatible to the Arris app?

Hello,      I am experiencing a few minutes of disconnection for at least once and up to 4 times per day now.  I suspect that it is due to my internet service provider is sending a bad configuration file to my modem which causes it to lose connection for a few minutes.  This is because the event log in the modem indicates that there was a bad TLV code in the configuration file.  I am unable to convince WOW to fix this since they are overly eager to replace the S33 with their own no name brand and charge me $10 a month for renting it.  Is there a way to see the configuration file that was sent so the team at ARRIS can suggest a fix?  I’m including the log errors that repeat 4 times a day generally at the same time of day.   Are there any ways to get the WOW technical support to even look at the log files (they have refused so far).  Anyway, any ideas would be appreciated…  By the way I work with RF equipment and the signals are good, low code error rates 40 dB SNR….  The last time I cal

How do you activate mobile app for G34. Very difficult app to navigate 

First of all I can not get the App to work what so ever so I was trying to log into the Web Manager to change network name and password. I am able to connect to the Wi-fi with the default network name and password but want to change it. When I try to log in Web Manager, I use the username: admin and the password that is the default password on the sticker. I also just tried the work password as my password since that is what it says in the little book that came with it. Every time I get invalid login credentials. What am I missing here?

On one end of my house, the farthest from the modem/router the signal strength is low. Can I use any of the Arris mesh systems with the SBG7600AC2 to improve the signal strength?
