I have to reboot everyday or my download speeds are as low as they can go

I just bought a G36 yesterday, activated it on xfinity last night and multiple times today it has lost connectivity. Sometimes, the modem shows it is connected and has DNS and IP from xfinity but none of my home network PCs or devices have internet access. Other times it shows connected (solid blue light) yet I can’t get on the internet or even access the admin page to check status even though I my PC has wi-fi connectivity and can ping the management IP of the gateway.I’m tempted to return this and go back to my old modem.Is this thing really a piece of garbage or am I missing something?

New G34 WIFI 2.4 and 5.0 both appear in mobile devices (laptop, iphones) WIFI settings, but no internet service is actually provided.I have: connected to GUI and GUI show devices are connected. connected via mobile app and ethernet. Modem is activated by Xfinity (Mediacomm) and they see it. Tried rebooting x3 - no change. Tried factory reset - no change.Bad WIFI Router? About to return this overly-expensive model...

I’ve got a new modem, gone through all troubleshooting steps with Xfinity they show a connection but I’m unable to access internet

Hello, the G34 is not and I don’t believe has ever connected to my iphone. I continually get the spinning/loading ball when I’m just 2 feet away from it and the speed test I have done using an app called Speed Smart is showing very very low download and upload speeds. I called my internet provider and they say the signal is fine. I’m not great at all this technical stuff either. please help. I took screenshots but I don’t see where to upload them.  

I’m considering purchasing the G34 Wi- Fi cable modem.  Will I be able to download the app to my desk top computer?  I don’t have a smart phone.

I have a new G34 wifi router. Some of my devices hook up to 5G but my iphone, ipdad, and macbook only hook up to the 2.5. My Xfinity speed should be up to 600 but only getting around 34.

I just purchased a surfboard Wi-Fi cable modem AX 3000. I am trying to install it, but I do not have a cable coming into the house. All I have is Cat five cables coming in. How do I connect the cable modem to the Cat5 wiring coming in?

I can’t change my password on the app because it redirects me to download a separate app called fing which also does not allow these changes. I just want to change my WiFi name and password. 

I need to set router to 2.4 ghz to operate Frameo picture frame.  Settings only list the 5g info. How to I change to access 2.4?

Hi, currently I have a SBG 10 and use web interface to access device. And I will be replacing it to G36. Will the same web interface work for G36? Or I need to set an entirely new web interface for G36? Thank you.   

I have a 1 Gigabit Internet service program with Comcast/XFinity and recently purchased and set up a new Arris Modem/Router Combo that Comcast/XFinity recommends for my service. But now my Playstation 5 LAGS terribly to the point that we no longer play games on it. I bought this new unit to IMPROVE WIFI performance, not degrade it….and understand that the Playstation 5 is only 2 rooms away from the Arris Modem/Router and on the same floor. So distance is not an issue. What settings can I change in the SURFBOARD APP (or other) to improve my situation?

Connected to net using default settings. In app, cannot find network although connected to it and using G34 to change user name and password 

when I try to login to my cablemodem it says that it is not secure

I have 2 IP addresses2603:80A0:1700:5030:367F:E838:983C:1ACB2603:80A0:1700:5030:3E3E:EC37:E8D5:3640with no Name, Mac ID or Type.Explain? I believe it's been accessed thru a masked ip. They are wiping out my bandwidth. I even changed the SSID and whoever it is got onto it again.

Please advise on how to set up parental control to my wi-fi router. I have Arris SURFboard SBG7600AC2.

As the title says, DC voltage was applied to the coaxial connection. Problems that have occurred, download speeds drop to 0 - 2 MBPS, the 2.4Gig connection to my thermostat loses connection. All these are intermittent problem, sometimes it works wonderful other time not so. Usually unplugging and plugging back in after a few minutes clears the problem.  Have run this through ChatGTP,  it suggest that some damage is likely to have occurred. 

I downloaded the Surboard app and try to register but I was never given the chance to create a password. When I try to access the 192.168.0.1 it asks for an email and password. How do I create a password so I can access the settings in my modem/router? Thanks.

After Xfinity active the modem it did not come online is there something I missing here 

Spectrum has me unplugging the G34 from power at least twice a day. They came out and said it’s the Arris issue?  

How do you connect a Ring Camera System to the G34?

I set up Surfboard G36, then renamed my WiFi.  Now I have 2 networks.  Most devices are on the new network, however when I tried to set up my outdoor irrigation controller it only recognized the 1st WiFi - am I supposed to have 2 networks?  Some devices on one, and some on the other?  Two different passwords.   OR can I DELETE the renamed one and just have the original.
