Wi-Fi Modems

The password on the bottom of the device isn't working. I may have changed it back when but haven't used it for quite some time so cannot recall the credentials. How do I reset them?

Hello, I have this router purchased in 2017 and I bought the new connection of internet but after activated internet this router is not activated and I am seeing it is offline in my internet mobile app. I need to know Is that modem activated or not? or what is the issue? Here is the details(Edited personal information)

I have cox internet service, the modem I have has been working great. Recently cox sent me information telling me it was out dated. I had 1GB service for years. Cox has upgraded to 2GB service and now my modem barley get to 100gb downloads. My streaming services will quit working. Cox tells me I need new modem to fix issue. I am only paying for 500GB service and barley use 300 GB per month.

I purchased a modem on 3/10/25 at Best Buy. The modem stopped working correctly. Went to Best Buy on 4/12/25 to return. Was told it was past the 15 day return policy & we needed to contact Arris directly to return the item & get a refund. How do I go about doing so?  Thank you!

I login as Admin to G54 > Gateway > TimeI set the time server (time.google.com)I manually set US/Eastern TimezoneYet my router continues to be 4 hours ahead…No adjustments… Cannot manually set time...

I enter the correct password to connect to the 2.4 and or 6ghz networks and the response is that the password is incorrect when it’s 100% correct. I have restarted EVERYTHING multiple times and have even tried changing the password on the Gateway and it still says the passwords are wrong.

Surfboard SBG7600 powers on but no internet or other indicator lights. Have power cycled many times and even did a few factory resets with no luck. Is unit DOA?

I have a G36 in the 1st floor corner of my house.  I have dead zones in basement and other side.  Tried a TP Link extender but hate the second name of the Extended Network.  Looking to add at least two Mesh Routers.  I have a CAT 5 where the g36 is that runs to the basement.  Can I add two Mesh Routers both hardwired from the existing G36 (one on 1st floor and one in basement) and use them as my wifi network?  Is that the best solution.  I imagine I have to disable the G36 WIFI router function somehow?  Which MESH do you recommend?

Using MacBook Air (Mac) Sequoia 15.3 Chrome Browser.I am able to connect to router and configure, but NEVER show up as a connected device.  iPhones, Printer (HP), SAMSUNG TV… But never my Mac… For that reason, I cannot connect to the printer.  Both iPhones do connect and print from the printer.My Mac displays the Wi-Fi signal with full bars… I cannot ping any of the “connected” devices.  Firewall completely disabled (IPv4 & 6). (I don’t think I need a reboot) I CAN ping the router. I can reach the internet.  But not talking to anybody on my 192 Net. The wifi modem is already activated but I don’t know what’s my password and how to setup I didn’t see it in the app.

My 2.4 WiFi isn’t coming up so I’m not able to connect to it on my console or laptop

How do I change network name and password ? 

I have a wireless irrigation controller that runs on 2.4 ghz.  The controller says it is connected but is extremely slow to respond.

I have an Arris G18 router, trying to connect an Etekcity smart outlet.  Would like to see a detailed log of why it is not able to connect.  The logs I see do not have any information on devices connecting.

How do I update the firmware on a G34? Please do not tell me my ISP does it as they do not as they do not own the modem I do.

The TV is not connected to the router and doesn’t connect wirelessly. 

I set up my G34 using admin and the password I use for my network. After I logged in to the app, it changed my login and I no longer can access the router online. How do I get back to my setup? 

Lost internet a few hours ago, happens every now and then, I unplug the modem(g36) plug it back in, wait 3 minutes and I’m online. Today that didn’t work. And neither is our cable or phones. Called xfinity, the first guy said someone must have cut out wires. The second person said our modem is dead and needs to be replaced. We have had this g36 for the last 2 maybe 3 years, and bought it because it was supposed to last longer than most modems, according to xfinity. The modem showed no signs of dying up until this point, so I have my doubts that it’s dead. How could I check if the modem still works or not?

I have a G36 on one floor and have a CAT 5 that runs from that location to the second floor.  I am trying to figure out how to have one SSID network that covers house and right now the G36 isnt doing it.  I envisioned if I could have a wifi router hardwired to the G36 and then have another something on the second floor that is connected by the CAT 5 in the wall to either the G36 or the first floor wifi router?  Any help would be appreciated what i should buy or do.
