Wi-Fi Modems

I can’t register this product as there is no longer a support website. What gives? 

Just got my G20-6118. Tried to set up and while the primary green light at bottom lights up, neither my phone, via app, nor computer, will recognize device. I am using DECCA, which is somewhat priority to my community, and only access. On my old Motorola, it works fine, was trying to upgrade. Thanks

Modem admin still cannot be reached, even on Safari… and it’s now 2025. What is going on?

Have not been able to connect my printer to new modem router.  Printer works on 2.5g and has wifi WPS button

DHCP is not provisioning any clients on the LAN side.I had the modem activated via the ISP and when I manually set a static ip on the LAN network 192.168.0.20 with gateway and DNS settings, the internet works fine.But DHCP is not working. It does not work when I connect to the WiFi or when I plug directly into the modem with an ethernet cable. Any ideas? I’ve already tried disabled ipv6 and still nothing. No IPV4 addresses are being handed out via DHCP I checked to see if I can do a firmware update, but I don’t see any way to do that.

Surfboard combination modem-router model G34, Windows 10.I go to 192.168.0.1 to bring up the page.  The message “Your Firefox is not up to date.  You must use 63.0.3.”   My Firefox is much newer than that:   138.0.4, 64 bit.I try both “admin” as well as the name of my local network.  Neither user name works.I use for a password the Wi-Fi Security Key found on the bottom of my Surfboard.Either way, it says “Invalid Login Credential.”  What’s really idiotic, is that it will not give me a hint how to fix the problem.   I think Surfboard help stinks.

I need to update my SurfBoard Wifi Modem please?

Does anyone know why or have any suggestions as to why this portal takes forever to login to?  Surfboard app as well trying to access GUI through it.  When I make changes it takes forever to complete.  I have already factory-reset the router three times.  I have never had this much trouble.

Purchased G34, I set up without the Mobile App and it is working with Ethernet Cables, but no wifi is being broadcasted or shows up in my list of wifi available. Is the app needed to set up wifi?

My HP Photosmart 6520 printer will not connect wireless to my G34. I enabled “allow all” on my filters and I manually added it using the MAC address and it still won’t connect. 

Trying to set up new modem/router. I can connect to it, but without internet. Xfinity says they activated it and says it's online from their perspective. How do I get internet connection?Spent hours with xfinity help line to no avail. 

For some reason none of the devices show up on my app so I am not able to pause/ remove unwanted devices. Please help

I have a G36 with Xfinity, purchased in 2023, been working fine. Two or three months ago, started noticing connection issues, everything would be disconnected from the WiFi network, I could restart it remotely through the app and it would start working again. The odd thing, is that it always says “your device is connected” in the Xfinity app, and their tech support says they see no issue.it’s been happening more often, and now when restarted, it often shuts the WiFi network down again after 5 minutes or so. Can’t always do it in the app, have to go upstairs to unplug it. Ethernet cable plugged into desktop, that network goes down the same time as the WiFi. Had Comcast reprovision it, and a tech came out to check, signal strength is showing no issues. Also have tried the factory reset button. Didn’t help. the odd thing is my wife works from home, and after weeks of dealing with it in the evenings, she had her first issue during the day. Is there a secret to clearing / releasing all clients previously connected to my SBG8300?I have performed a factory reset before, however everything previously connected reappears in the connected client list. I want to make sure that I have no Rogue clients connected without my knowledge.Thanks in Advance

I want to change my wifi password, i’m fairly certain i left it as the default PW, but when i try to change it all i’m met with is invalid password. It doesn’t tell me the PW requirements it doesn’t tell me what is invalid or anything, and i have no way of finding out what the current password is. Can i get some help?

I need a compatible range extender for my otherwise excellent G54 Surfboard BE18000 device.  Does Arris make one?

Got my G36 up on X-finity only to have it intermittent loss of internet connection.Reading the threads it looks like this is an ongoing issue with G34 - 36 for over a year. Reverted back to my older Arris, plan on returning my G36, and research if Netgear has same issues.

My wifi has been seup for about two years now and I had no issues logging in with the old app. But now whatever I try, the new app doesn’t let me migrate because it thinks I’m not connected to the network even though I am. And the only other options are to “activate the network” which it has been for a while.

I set up and had Comcast connect, but no internet.  Everything worked before I switched modems now a steady blue light stays lit and no internet.  Help!  TIA

Today I called Arris Surfboard Tech Support to inquire about updates for my SBG8300. The agent’s false and totally untrue answer:  “Your Internet Provider provides updates for your Surfboard modem”. Thus insinuating that I am an ignorant buffoon, which I plan to deal with later.Question: How do I receive software updates for my modem?

Hello,I am hoping the community can help answer the challenge I am having with the Xfinity Stream app and my G34. I have worked with Xfinity to set up my G34, and my internet is working. However, the Xfinity stream app is not working. Here’s the situation.G34 is set up with Xfinity, and the device is showing a solid blue light G34 is providing internet, both Wifi for the home and Ethernet - hard line connection to my TV (Samsung 55” QN90C) Xfinity stream app is loaded on my TV and can be launched I can watch saved programs within the Xfinity app However, when I try to play live TV it fails and I get a TVAPP-00101 error Please note my iPad, and cellphone with the Xfinity app work with no issues Additionally, the Xfinity app on my TV was working with the prior device, Motorola MG7550 I have spent hours with Xfinity and they’ve ‘re-provisioned’ my device, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, and ha
