I cant activate Arris Vip 7300 on maj smart tv with software 7

i get spinning wheel and “cant access server not responding” used Safari and Chrome on. macbook pro

My Nighthawk router is reset, all the lights are solid. Now my Arris modem TM822, the power light is solid green but the DS light is flashing orange, and the rest are faintly flashing. Please help! I have reset it fully and reset my router. There is nothing wrong with the router. 

Recently purchased ARRIS SVG2482AC 3:1. WiFi is not connecting and when it does it goes off periodically. Customer and tech support was not helpful and since it is a 3 year-old product I was not able to get refunded nor any assistance to figure out why the Wi-Fi is not connecting constantly. They wanted to charge me additional money to service. The modem, and I was never able to get the help. I needed very disappointed customer and I will never buy an ARRIS surfboard modem ever again. The modem needs an upgrade and the Wi-Fi is not connecting, and I am not able to use the a product. It is a complete waste of money…

Hi. We’ve had the Arris TM822 modem for a few years now.  Optimum is the provider.  Recently the Link light is not solid, it’s now blinking green.  Would someone know if there’s an issue with the modem or the signal?  Thanks.

The ARRIS TG2482A thread post´s case  is: I wrote 2A861 with “ Num Lock “ and “ Caps Lock “ key activated in Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 Build 19045.5247 Wordpad ´s version and then i typed “ Alt “ and “ x “  key at the same time using Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 Build 19045.5247 with Spanish(Sapin) keyboard layout in the  ARRIS TG2482A Router Modem´s setup

My question on the subject of this thread is really: how long do i need to press the reset button with a needle of an ARRIS TG2482A to reset the above mentioned modem?

Just looking for reliability and problem support capabilities after purchase.  

Where do I find the password for my ARRIS SURFBOARD SVG2482AC modem to connect to my phone, tv, laptop? 

My Aries surfboard got put on bridge mode now I have no Wi-Fi I am able to connect with a laptop but it will not take the username and password I cannot log into gateway also try resetting factory settings and using admin and password as password and nothing can someone please help

Downstream power and snr look good but upstream is bad: I used to get all 5 upstream channels but about a month ago this is when I started having drops:Power is below spec.Is this a cable company issue or is the unit failing to output enough signal for the upstream?

Can the svg2482ac be used as a wireless router with a t25 modem?

Bought a new Surfboard dual band (2.4 & 5g)  router and setup all my devices, (ie. phone, printer etc) seamlessly except for my wireless Picstar picture frame. Contacted Arris and they helped me name each band with a distinctive name but still no help.  The second name for 5g is not showing up.

I have a T25 modem and XFinity as my cable provider. Apparently I am not getting the internet speeds available because the firmware on my modem is not up to date. There is no information about the firmware version on the surfboard app that is connected to the device, and I'm also not able to log into the modem settings using the IP address and any browser. I just get an error message saying that that IP address cannot be accessed. Of course my warranty on the modem just ran out last month, and I do not want to pay $40 to access the surfboard customer service. Has anyone had this issue where they cannot locate the firmware version let alone log in to their account to update it?I am aware of the disputes between weather it is Xfinity or Arris that has the capacity to update the firmware. I was just on a very long phone call with Xfinity and they are insisting that it is nothing on their end to update the firmware. I have unplugged the modem several times to force a reset, but w

I have an arris svg2482ac modem/router and i was gifted a device that requires i have a 2.4g wifi network as opposed to the 5G wifi network i currently set up through this modem/router, how do i add a 2.4 wifi network to this modem/router so i can connect this device? Is there a specific app I should add to my phone to affect this? How do I connect my phone to this modem/router - I guess which surfboard app do I need? Can I please get basic advice or instructions to help here? Thank you, Simon.

I have one working arris 4302 and one new one.  Is there a way to download or back up the software from the working box and then load it into the new box? 

i switched my router from bridge mode to i think access  mode. i am trying to go back to bridge mode and i cannot reach the login page. just times out…. i also connected my laptop directly into modem and the problem persists. 

I have reset back to factory setting multiple times.  I have no wifi from the surfboard or connection from the ethernet ports to my desktop.  However, I do have connection from the ethernet port to my Google Mesh.  I have been on customer support with Xfinity and they said everything looks ok on their end.  Arris wants me to purchase a service contract of $40 to fix it.  I might as well just buy a new one at that price.  Any ideas?

I am texting from Ontario Canada. My mom recently moved into retirement home and part of the plan included fiber optic TV and Internet. The modem is an ARRIS model VIP 7802. She has macular degeneration and glaucoma and can’t see the small button remote that came with the TV provider. I’m trying to hook up a Aftermarket TV remote called “one click” manufactured by “Simpl” for my mother. The codes that were provided in the box for the Arris products did not open it. When I contacted the company for the remote said will work on modems manufactured until 2022. Those are current codes for them. I noticed on the back of the modem it’s manufactured in 2023 and I’m wondering if there’s any new codes for this new modem to be able to hook up this aftermarket remote to operate the TV. I understand that this remote is Wi-Fi and I’ve read that it will do IR remotes, is that the correct statement? If not, do you know where I can get a remote for seniors that’ll work with this modem that you’ve m

I bought a refurbished T25 but I can't add it to my ISP because it is still registered on someone else's account. Any ideas?

Arris SVG2482ACI reset the router to the factory default. I am able to to see and connect to both Wifi connections and I can connect directly using the ethernet port. I am also able to ping the the router @ 10.0.0.1 on all three access points. But I am not able to open the web GUI console (http:/10.0.0.1 or https:/10.0.0.1). It just spins and never timeouts with any errors. I have tried Google, Firefox and Edge browsers, all having the same result. Any suggestions on what to try next would be greatly appreciated.One question, does the router have to be activated by Xfinity to gain access to the local router first? I was thinking I should be able to login and reset the password from the default before activating it.Thank youDon  

My SVG2482AC battery backup is not working during blackout; when the power comes back the battery light on the modem is illuminated; when the power is out the battery light was off. Any help appreciated.
