I recently purchased a used Arris T25, I later learned that there is no label, I know I can get the device information like serial number and Mac number if I can log onto the device, it appears to be connecting fine when I attach it to Xfinity coaxial cable, but Xfinity blocks use of the device until activation which requires Mac number.Is there any other way to get the information on this device?

I am looking for the best way to set up a mesh system where I need two devices in the house and a 3rd unit connected by an ethernet cable to my steel pole barn 200 feet away.  I was looking at the W122 with the satellite wall plug and add at W21 in the pole barn. is this the best way or is there a better way?

Hi I bought 2 G36 modems for 2 different properties. I can’t seem to add the second one to my app to change the WiFi name and password. Why can’t I add a 2nd of the same modem? 

I noticed there are three options for DDNS providers.  DynDns.org Changeip.com & freedns.afraid.org My DDNS provider is no-ip.com.  Is there a way to add/use this provider with the G34 wifi modem?

Hello, I recently purchased an Arris G36 surfboard ax3000. Then I realized I wanted a mesh system in my house.  My question: what is the most economical way to do this?  Do I purchase two W31 mesh routers in addition to the arris g36?  Do I still need the arris g36?Is there a better system to purchase? I have a couple kids  and it seems like they are always on YouTube and iPads. We aren’t big gamers (yet). your help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!     

What is the best product to fill a dead zone in my house that is compatible with ARRIS SURFboard SVG2482AC DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem & AC2350 Wi-Fi Router? Any thoughts?

Cox has a limited list of certified cable modems available to purchase. They recommend an SB8200, although in the feature list, it states that digital voice is not supported.I have a grand stream IP PBX system and wanted to see if this system will actually work with the 8200.Do I simply setup my internal router connected to the 8200 and setup a NAT from my fixed public IP address to the IP PBX system through my router? Or does this configuration not work with the 8200?Still trying to decide whether to purchase the 8200 for my configuration. Thanks

A nice person dropped by my house after being contracted by a cell phone company to determine who was making noise at a frequency they owned.  Turns out my SB6190 is emitting a huge spurious emission at 695MHz. Does anybody at Arris want this thing to determine how it failed in this manner?  To be clear, it still operates as a cable modem just fine.

Hello. I ended up replacing my apparently defective, several years old, SB8200 modem with a new SB8200. I have Xfinity cable internet and am paying for 500 Mbps speed. The past few weeks my speed had dropped to around 40 Mbps or dropped off completely. An Xfinity technician came out and checked my outside cable and measured the signal coming into the. It measured at around 1,700 Mbps and only about 40 Mbps coming out of the old SB8200. While the old SB8200 was working, the download light was always blue, indicating that it was operating in DOCSIS 3.1 mode. I have installed the new SB8200 and am measuring download speeds of around 550 Mbps. However, the download light on the modem is staying green, indicating DOCSIS 3.0 mode. Is there something wrong with the new modem that is keeping it in DOCSIS 3.0 mode? Or did Xfinity set up the connection incorrectly with the new SB8200?Thanks for any feedback.

So I've been with my cox representative for like 2 and half hours and we've been trying to get the modem/router up and running. The issue is that it isn't broadcasting a ssid, I bought it used and think it might have caused an issue there.

I have reset my modem and have rebooted my modem and I am still receiving no power signal.  The mdrm has a solid blue light on.  How do I  resolve this issue?   Do I need to replace my modem? My devices show signal strengths between 2-4 bars. My internet  does drop service 3-4 times daily.    I do have internet service and my cable provider has shown me that the signal strength is good. Thank you 

I’m locked out of my SBG7600AC2 due to too many incorrect login attempts. I never set a password, so I expected "password" to work, but it doesn't. I also tried a password from the Surfboard app, but that didn’t work either.I’ve already tried a factory reset, unplugged it for 10 minutes, and performed a 30-30-30 reset, but nothing seems to help. I think I might need to contact customer support to unlock it. Any tips before I do that?

I bought the arris sb8200 a while ago, is a docsis 3.1, I also had been using astound internet “previous called RCN” for a while, I really need the 800mbps but my download speed won’t pass the 340 on wifi and 380 wired, my tplink router also can reach the 1gb and I am using the 5ghz channel, Astound support told me that they are not able to trobleshout the modem because is not one of the modem. I reset, hard reset etc and nothing , I am not sure if there is a firmware update and how to do it. Thanks again

My SURFboard S33 modem is completely dead. I’ve tried restarting more than once. I am hearing a buzzing noise from within the unit. I only get the orange light. My unit is still under warranty. Who do I contact to get a replacement or refund? Thanks.

I sent my router in weeks ago and have not heard anything. What’s the deal?

Hello - I have an SB8200 running on Cox. We keep getting booted from the internet for short periods of time (10-30 seconds) at random times of the day. Cox has tested everything on their end and says there is no issue they can see. This is a privately owned modem, so they are unwilling to troubleshoot any further.  I pulled the SNR data and have attached the Downstream Bonded and Upstream Bonded readouts: The upstream numbers don’t seem to fall in the range specified in the “Cable Signal Levels” document https://arris.my.salesforce-sites.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/SB8200-Cable-Signal-Levels Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot on my end, or anything I can take to Cox to get them to come out?  Thanks so much!

How do I create my network and password so that I can connect to the Internet?

Does Arris offer a range extender compatible with the SBG 8300 or G54 modem-routers?

For the last couple months (roughly 6 or so) my (refurbished) SBG8300 has been randomly rebooting. Sometimes it’s 2pm, sometimes it’s 10pm, on any given day. It’ll  stay up for maybe 4-6 days and then all of the sudden reboot. I can confirm this is what’s happening because the uptime timer restarts. My internet will drop and then my router will have the solid blue light on the internet icon. The reboot takes 5-10 minutes to complete and then it’s back on like nothing ever happened. The device is already connected to a UPS and no other devices connected to it have ever had any power issues. My ISP is Xfinity (unfortunately no other options) and they’ve confirmed everything looks good on their end. We’ve done the whole song and dance of rebooting the signals and my router multiple times but it doesn’t change anything.I’ve been having this issue with this router for at least the last 6 months and have just been dealing with it since I’m no longer under warranty and unwilling to pay tech s

I recently installed an SBG3800.  The Surfboard Web Manager only shows 9 connected devices; the Surfboard Central iOS app shows 0 connections.  I can see all 12 connections on the Fing app.  I have tried restarting the modem. Hardware Revision: 6Software Image Name:AR01.02.078.04_092820_711.NCS.10Firmware Version:01.02.078.04.NCSRDK-B-LLC:rdkb-20171127SDK:7.1Wi-Fi Driver:4.7.23.30.4.0

We just upgraded to an Arris G34 modem/router and now our Blink camera system won't connect. Keeps saying the password is wrong but it is 100% right. Ideas?

Tried hardwired from modem to laptop/browser Url to 192.168.0.1 but no internet connection
