My Xfinity page shows 33 mbps. I get over 150 on a speed check though. However, SBG10’s lights don’t flash on start up. Eventually they all come on ( 2 minutes or so) and it works.

I need a modem that has port forwarding capability for use with Spectrum Cable ISP.  Wireless not necessary.  This will be used with a Luxul router and switch.  What would be the best choice?  Thank you.

I cannot activate the surfboard SVG2482AC with Xfinity as CM MAC id is not recognized.

Purchased G36 from Amazon Nov 2023 and have nothing but issues since! Daily connection issues with Xfinity and we have gig extra!! Modem rested multiple times a day is unacceptable.  Any way to get a refund or a non-defective product? 

Hi,I’m an IT consultant trying to set up a customers Arris Surfboard G34. The admin console also refers to it as SB8200. I’m at home and can’t “Activate” the cable modem to get it on the Internet which is a requirement to using the setup app. So, I want to use the convention local web interface, only I can’t figure out how to get in for the first time.  The included instructions say to use “admin” as the user ID and that the password will be “customized during first time web GUI access” This does not appear to be working.  I've tried using admin/adminadmin/passwordamin/last 8 digits of serial # Nothing lets me in. I have tried using the reset button to reset to factory defaults but it won’t auto configure the password even then the first time I bring up the console on 192.168.0.1. Any help would be appreciated.    

I recently switched service providers but I am still showing my old one on the app. How do I change this and is it affecting my wifi?

I accidentally deleted my password to login to my modem.  The user name is admin but i can't remember what the default password is.  Can anyone help me please.  My modem/router is the G34.

For the last several weeks to now almost daily, my S33 V1.0 Arris Modem loses upstream connectivity first (and then all connectivity) typically in the afternoons. The outage can happen for minutes or hours. I sometimes lose connections at other points during the day, but almost daily between 1-3pm.  A few things I've noticed in the error logs:16 consecutive T3 timeouts while trying to range on upstream channel 5 No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received - T3 time-out CM-STATUS message sent. Event Type Code: 8; Chan ID: 3; DSID: N/A CM-STATUS message sent. Event Type Code: 7; Chan ID: 3 4; DSID: N/AI also noticed that only 1 Upstream Bonded Channels is locked - Channel 5. Channels 1,2,3,4 and 11 remain Unlocked (sometimes they lock). Power level for Channel 5 is 58.0 dBmW and all other channels range between 51.3-55.0. All Downstream Channels are locked, power levels are at 1 dBmW, SNR/MER is around 42/43 db, Corrected and Unco

I installed a new surfboard SB8200 modem with a EEros wifi mesh system to replace my rented modem from Spectrum.Everything installed smoothly and everything wifi works good except for my Honeywell wifi thermostat. I have a Honeywell T6 wifi pro thermostat. I used to be able to control it from my phone. But ever since I got the new modem it doesn’t seem to work.I called Honeywell support and we figured out the thermostat is not receiving an IP address. So they told me to call my cable (Spectrum) provider who told me everything is working fine. So I called Honeywell support again and someone new told me to contact the modem support. Is there a solution for this issue?Thank you

My SBG10 drops connection multiple times a day. I wanted to call to for support (since it's under warranty), but the only phone number is the premium one.It drips multiple times a day. Often for an hour or two at a time. Power cycling only offers an intermittent and temporary fix. The Xfinity technician said there are a lot of T3s coming off of it. The issue is not neighborhood noise. The signal strength also fluctuates wildly. 

I geolocated my IP address and it reports in the wrong city. Is this a function of my ISP or is a function of my modem (SB6190) ? I requested this be changed through MaxMind.com but wanted to understand how this is happening. 

My ex and I split up, his name was on the internet account so I had to deactivate and create my own account. I am still using the same Router/modem as before, but it will not connect to the new internet service. Do I have to deactivate something on the modem or do I need to transfer the equipment into my name also? If so, how do I go about doing this?

I tried to register my T25,  was told the serial # doesn't match model. Never had this happen before. Any help appreciated. 

Every day I lose Internet and forced to reset the G36 and everyday I call my ISP and they say it's nothing with their service. Even go through troubleshooting steps of connecting via Ethernet, but it's getting tiring.Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution or am I just out $300? 

Is it possible to integrate the G54 with the NETGEAR Orbi 970 mesh WiFi, and if so, how is it set up?

I created a secondary 2.4ghz wifi ssid for my security cameras, roomba, etc. to connect to.  My devices are connecting, but I am unable to view a list of them while in the Surfboard APP.  The only way I can see them is to sign into the GUI interface.  What am I doing wrong?

Trying to activate g36 on Xfinity. Asking for cm mac #. Instructions say to enter hfc mac number which is not recognized by Xfinity.

We have a few dead spots so I bought the TP-Link RE615X- very popular on an online retailer. “works with any wi-fi router” “secure one touch connection (WPS)”  Well the surfboard doesn’t have a WPS button and the alternatives TP-Link gives aren’t working.Is there a way to access a WPS reset through the router software?Old geez, non-techie
