Is there a satellite of mesh extender for the G54 Arris Surfboard wi7

Just bought this g34 called Breezeline to activate it to our account. They’ve sent signals and resent signals. Still nothing. They said everything’s is working on their end. I have a blue blinking like on the front of the g36. When they send the signals over it does change the colors on the front from solid orange to slow blinking blue then solid green then blinking green to solid blue then fast blinking blue. Then the blue just stays blinking. The network name will pop up in our WiFi section but under it it says no internet connection. I’m willing to try anything. 

Last night my power kept going in and out for about 5 minutes, then finally went out. When it came back on the modem stayed on solid orange. I have never had this happen before with other power outages. I have tried multiple times to unplug it for 30 seconds, 1 minute, over 10 minutes..still orange when I plug it back in. I have tried to hit the reset multiple times holding it for the 10-15 seconds as well as 30 seconds and nothing changes. I checked the warranty and I am good until July. How can I file a warranty claim? 

I actually finally got connected but could not edit the question line, however I still cannot connect to the 192. site and the android app will not download on current android. How do I access this modem to change the settings? Thank you.

As mentioned in the title my G36 suddenly stopped working yesterday. Not broadcasting a wifi network. Won't reset after holding the reset button for 1 minute. And just has this solid orange light. I checked and I am still in warranty.How do I go about filing a claim?

As the title says, every hour at nearly the exact same time my connection drops for ~1-3 minutes. Has been happening for roughly a month. Drops both wifi and ethernet connections. Only device connected is the PC.I had a cox technician tell me to my face it was from ‘overheating’ on a router that had worked just fine in warmer conditions, nevertheless the signal drops like clockwork and not spontaneous heat problems.Have also set all ‘lease duration’ settings to forever.This set of logs is from today, where the two at 11:53 correspond to (I think) when my PC was first on (the only device connected) on, and today all disconnections have happened at xx:53.Any help is appreciated, but I’d like to make good on my active warranty as this device is <1 year old and getting a new device would silence at lot of likely bogus suggestions I’ve received so far.

Please recommend compatible extender by make and model that is compatible with SBG8300.

Trying to activate a Wi-Fi cable modem and when it asked me for the CmAC  ID number I enter it, but it doesn’t go through. Any suggestions?

Hello,the year is 2024 (almost 2025) and you still ship with a firmware that expects firefox v63 and does not work with firefox v127 The error is “browser not supported” on an android phone, and of course “invalid email address” on a desktop.  That is rather grotesque as I am pretty sure I know my email address and it is the one I registered with Also current versions of MSoft edge (v126) have a warning of not being supported. Of course this will be ignored, which is a measure of the quality of your communications I hope that in 2025 you plan to at least support horse drawn carriages for returning the out-dated equipment you sell as new. As for firmware updates, I am hoping for at least cuneiform linear b.Thank you

Why do I have to reset my modem sometimes multiple times a day? Other times. Once a week. Sometimes every day. .y dad has the exact same modem and never has to reset. It's just the wifi. Both 5 and 2.4. Hardwire works no matter what. 

I can connect via ethernet to my laptop from my Arris 36, but I am unable to find the wifi signal. What am I doing wrong. I am replacing my old modem/router. I did the new setup via the comcast app but my phone wouldn't scan the tiny qr code on the bottom of my modem so I manually input the MAC number, but no wifi. 

Wi-Fi light is still blinking on new set up- how long until it should stop? Been 15 minutes 

I recently moved from my long time home to an apartment. I was receiving xfinity phone service through a voice modem and had numerous phone jacks in the house, all of which worked through the single modem’s connection. In my new apartment, I have a number of phone jacks but can’t find a way to make them work with my new Arris T25 Modem. Only the phone attached to either of the two outlets on the modem will be connected. I tried connecting the modem to one of the jacks, then nothing worked. Any thoughts?Thanks,SR

I ordered a surfboard modem with max mbps of 800. Xfinity upgraded me to 1000mbps how can I return current modem and get a faster one?

I need to change the default Wi-Fi names and passwords for my G36 router. When I go to the ARRIS login page (192 168.0.1), my login credentials are generating “invalid” message. As other individuals have said, I can see all of my network info on the screen at the login screen, I just can’t modify any of it because my email and password created through the app are not recognized.The new SURFboard Central Manager app on my Android mobile phone is absolutely useless.I’m able to get all the way through to the final step where the the Wi-Fi “should” be configured. But I continuously receive error messages that the Wi-Fi network can’t be configured.I’ve unplugged all the cords from the device.I’ve reset the device.I’ve uninstalled the SURFboard Central Manager app from my phone, cleared the data and cache, and reinstalled the app.I’ve reviewed instructions through ARRIS’ Customer Care site for the G36 device.Nothing is helpful in solving the problem of not being able to access the Wi-Fi sett

Can a Surfboard SBG7400AC2 be used to replace a Verizon ASK-NCQ1338FA which operates on the Verizon 5G home internet?

Just got back from a 2 week trip to find that our Surfboard isn’t working. No lights, no change after cycling the power. 

There have been several threads about this topic, notably: My situation is similar. I have been using my Arris G36 + Xfinity since January 2022. Within the past year, I have had to do more frequent reboots and the connection would drop somewhat regularly. However, two days ago, the internet stopped working. I reset the modem, and now there is only a solid orange LED light. I contacted Xfinity who helped me attempt a second activation and install a “software update”. However, this didn’t fix anything. I know its not a problem with the coaxial or Xfinity because Xfinity gave me a different modem that is working.I just missed my product’s warranty window which was March 2024. I am fairly upset that I paid $300+ for this modem that is lasting barely 2 years.Has anyone been able to successfully recover a modem from this state?

The modem was unplugged due to loud hissing noises, it was working fine. Unplugged s33 for 15 mins to let cool down and when I went to plug it in it never booted. Orange light for 10-15 secs than flashes to white for a sec back to orange light for 10-15 secs. Never connects don't see it on Xfinity side and I'm unable to get into web portal either. This product is under warranty would like a replacement I've gone through hours of troubleshooting.

The app won’t register my devise error code:0000-1612. I also don't have the password for the router login. how or were is it. 

Blue light has been flickering for 20 minutes. What is the problem? How do you access this unit to find out what’s going on? Apparently customer service has banker hours

I just purchased the SB8200. I have activated it with my ISP (Spectrum).  Everything seems to be working on their end. I can’t get it to connect to my gateway eero 6. I have internet when connected directly to the computer from modem, but cannot get the eero to come online

For some reason I was able to connect to the internet, when I plugged the Arris W31 through Ethernet, to the Router/Modem Arris G36. But when I unplugged the Ethernet, it didn’t continue to connect wirelessly as an extender. So I question how to gain that solution? It connected in my surfboard central app but also shows not connected to internet. Without the Ethernet cable plugged into it.  How do I repair this?
