eMTA - Voice enabled Modems & Wi-Fi Modems

reference: ARRIS SURFboard T25 DOCSIS 3.1 Gigabit Cable Modem bought from AmazonXfinity has not fixed or identified any issue on their end.  I’ve spent two 3 hour sessions with their support computers, techs, and elevated support.  Xfinity support confirms we have the latest firmware, and have reset the modem many times as have I.  I’ve tried several phone systems that perform on other systems as they should. (panasonic and Vtech).  I’m reaching out to see if this is an issue with the T25  itself, as I have really run out of things to try.   Any help, direction would be greatly appreciated.

I can only get 1 out of 8 ports to get internet from a TP-Link 8 port gigabit switch to work. It’s hooked directly into the Arris SBV 3202 Modem. I’ve checked lines, jacks, connectors and all. Nothing works. The switch was working fine with the Arris TG1682G modem. Can anyone help?

I current rent an Arris TG2472G from WoW for my internet/cable/phone service.  I want to buy my own equipment and want to know what is the most current and best hardware to replace my TG2472G and get better features and performance?  Please advise. 

Spent many hours on line/ on phone with Optimum trying to get a T25 xFinity working.Can anyone provide me with the correct reference/ firmware etc…..to I can get the Optimum (NY)tech team updated ?     From other posts it seems this should work. Modem gets “Activated” by Optimum, goes through 3 cycles of reset (updates).At that point the LED indicates it is ON LINE…..however no connection is made to my computer or router.T25  Model #  613587-003-00  ( has a HFC MAC & MTA MAC #s, no CMAC like the old modem)All help and advice, appreciated.  

can't update password even though it meets criteria, just says bad password.

I purchased a SVG2482AC used. It works fine other than showing the wrong location. For example, I am located in zip code 21776 (New Windsor). Any time that I search a website like Home Depot, I’m always directed to a store that is located in the zip code of the previous owner, even though my local store is one mile from me. Another example would be when searching a site like Breitbart news, clickbait ads have titles like “so and so is living penniless in Sykesville.  Since the previous owner of the modem lived in Sykesville (21784), I figured that a hard reset would correct it, but no. Help me please.

Hello,Can you please let me know how to change the wifi username for SVG2482AC ?When I go to EDIT mode I do not see any option to edit any details , please advise .

Xfinity did an update to their system.  The phone does not work now.  Xfinity says it is not their problem.  The internet works just fine.

New out of box, all lights come on, US/DS light won't stop blinking, XFinity can't connect to it. Did I get a lemon?

I’m on Optimum with an Arris router model TM 1602A. Download speed is fine, upload speed a disaster. Re-set both modem and router, nothing same result. Any thoughts, TIA.

I getting am  frequent connection drops on my internet connection.  Comcast says everything looks fine.  They say it  could be my owned Arris modem.  Of course they would say that.  Is there a tool / software that I can run to show what the router is seeing?  Is there some home version of “Sniffer”.  

This is a new out of the box cable modem-Wifi router from my ISP, TDS. The admin login passphrase returns “invalid login”. I want to see if the firewall is turned ON, the firmware is up to date and if signons and traffic is encrypted.

5g working 2.4g not

Sometimes I get 400 mbps then it will drop to 75 mbps. Xfinity says it is a problem with my modem.  They say it might need updates.

Hi, I have received the TG2482 from my internet provider.In the spec sheet it says: remote WebGUI access.How can I access this router remotely from WAN?I have not been able to find anything in the manual or on the locally accessed web interface.Hopefully somebody can help.Thank you in advance.

TM3402A activated by the ISP, appears to function normal.After 4 to 6 hours the Ethernet connection cuts off ?Computer is powered down.ISP sent signal to Modem to reboot…..resulting in the ethernet break.Pressing the Reset button, after 15 second a single LED flash….then the unit is dead.Only a power down and up, brings is back to life.Appear help appreciated.

What modems works with optimum? I have internet, telephone and cable with optimum

the SVG2483AC unit is not working. lights flashing but no internet. I have an extended warranty I  checked my warranty status and wouldn’t you know it. it doesn't recognize my serial number. only had the unit a 3 months. so basically not a happy shopper here. need some company help on a replacement unit. 

I would like to purchase Tm3402 for optimum telephone and internet new and cannot find it anywhere. 

Please help - Comcast says internet speed is fine in their 2 point check, it is something with the devices in the house.  Old Model TM402P , how can we get updates or some way to check if the router/modem is faulty?   

I have a T25 on Xfinity.I tried to logon to the modem at 192.168.100.1 and username “admin” password of “password” returns invalid credentials.I don’t remember changing it, but I probably did at some point.How do I reset the device to default username and password? I’m sure I’ll have to re-register it with Comcast/Xfinity for it to work again, but that’s no big deal.I need to get information off of it, and see if maybe there’s a firmware update available, etc.

I found that my T25 has the following firmware:Firmware Name:    TS11.02.057.12_092820_711.PC20.03Firmware Build Time:    Mon Sep 28 17:37:14 EDT 2020 Three years seems awfully old. I contacted Comcast, and they supposedly pushed a firmware update, but I didn’t see a change. Does anyone know what the latest firmware version is? Thanks.

I am trying to log into the admin page 10.0.0.1 and nothing is working.  Our modem is not talking to the router. I think my husband reset or it got disconnected but trying  to see what the problem is. Side note...having to pay for help is ridiculous when you purchase this product... I'm very frustrated
