I recently bought an S33 earlier this month (link). But I am unable to get it activated through Xfinity despite numerous phone calls and having a tech out to my home. They were confident that the modem was bad. Is there any way to tell if this is true? How can I find or reset my password?

Multiple times a day, my SB8200 modem is cycling through the process to select / apply the best Profile.  It is a set of three lines that appear in Event Log beginning with: US profile assignment change, MDD message timeout, and CM-STATUS message sent.  It is not clear which of the three is the ‘first’ in the series.  The logs are followed my my MAC address and the address of the CMTS-MAC address at the other end (COX).  It cycles between Profiles 9 13, 10 13, 11 13, and 12 13.The modem / service seems to be working fine otherwise, but this continuous cycling makes me think something is wrong.  This began about 3 days after a senior Cox tech was on site to fully clean my install including eliminating some ingress sources which coincidentally resulted in now showing blue 3.1 Upload in addition to 3.1 download.Here are the full lines with my MAC address deleted.US profile assignment change. I am having slower speed issues on my relatively new SB8200, less than 4 months old.  Below are the values I am getting.Is my power level on downstream and upstream look good. My Lenovo laptop my Wi-Fi dose not show up to connect. Surfboard cable modem. Also I am connected to everything else in my home. 

Is anyone experiencing a problem with firmware TB01.03.001.16_091322_212.0A for SB8200 and other modems for the Event Log page.  The problem is two-fold.  There are lines of ‘frozen’ text in the upper left corner of the Event Log page referencing ‘Confirm Settings’ but there is no response when clicked. Second, the Event Log is not populated.I have the problem when using Chrome to sign into my SB8200.I have confirmed with a Cox Corporate engineer responsible for modem testing that this a flaw.  He asked me to try the work-around of clearing the Chrome cache which did work for some of my PCs, but not others.  He also suggested I try other browsers and I confirmed the problem does not appear with Edge after I clear that cache.  He did not offer any further comments how he is working with Arris to get a repaired firmware load to push.  He did not offer if it causes any other problems with the modem.I am having problems with the modem continuously cycling through th

WHAT IS THE WEB MANAGER LOGIN ?Its not in any document that can be found. even on this community where ARRIS SUPPORT wrote about access the web manager DID NOT PROVIDE THE user and password 

Arris DG3450A does not give option to view browser history or history logs of visited web sites or anything, is there any way possible to see browser history or viewed web sites of devices connected to the wifi.

I am Using SB8200 with Xfinity.1000Mbps d/l and 100 Mbps u/l planmy speeds are slowdownstream is in 3.1 mode upstream is in 3.0 mode. There are four upstream bonded channels. The power values are 37 and 38 dBmV.down stream bonded channels have SNR in the ranges of 45.3 to 46 dB. The QAM256 power values are between 2.9 DBMV and 3.4 DBMV and the last one is 4.3 DBMVis this correct?I am Using TP-Link ax1800 router and am getting 300Mbps on its wired ports.wireless point gives 430Mbps.Pls comment.also, why is the upstream in 3.0 mode and not 3.1

Hi! I use eero pro 6e and I’m not getting the over 1 GB for wired in a 2.5 gb port. Anyway can get a replacement? This unit feels hot as well.  no longer need this question.

Hi! Xfinity is telling me this is a modem problem and it’s not clear to me whether they’re right. surfboard sb8200 will not go online. Check the cables, powered it off and on again, contacted ISP there's no outage in my area. It just suddenly decided not to go online. The online light is flashing. It is less than 2 years old I purchased it in November of 2021. It's still under warranty but how do I know if the modem is bad or if it's some other obscure thing? My renter is having significant trouble connecting to the Internet using my Wi-Fi. My cell phone connects easily, and has relatively decent upload and download speeds, but her employer supplied laptop speeds are dismal. Any suggestions?

i had a power outage yesterday and my modem went out for a second, when power came back on i reset the modem, it is lit as it should but my hasn’t come back on. i unplugged everything for a few minutes and my wifi still won’t work. this happened once before and after 2 days my wifi came back, how can i fix this

It assigned 96.29.42.82 but my Unifi USW Lite 8 router, Unifi access points, or any of my computers alone can recognize it. 

I keep getting an invalid IP address. I tried power cycle my modem and it is still not working.

Neither of my laptops have an Ethernet port and I need to complete the setup. 

I would like to get a new cable modem (Cox compatible) that will support DHCP and port forwarding configurations.  I bought the SB6190 not realizing it does not.  Wi-Fi is optional.  Thanks

I just purchase a Arris G36 and I am not happy with performance, therefore was wondering if the ARRIS Surfboard mAX Pro W133 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System & ARRIS Surfboard SB8200 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem | Approved for Comcast Xfinity, Cox, Charter Spectrum, & More | Two 1 Gbps Ports would be a better product for me.

Arris SBG 6580I just installed a Google WiFi mesh system. One of the 4 satellites attaches to the cable  modem/router via ethernet cable and also provides WiFi transmission to the area/room it's in.  Question.... Is there a way to disable the modem's WiFi transmission since the nearby satellite is already providing better WiFi transmission? I don't want to turn off the modem, but do want to disable (just) the WiFi transmission on the modem. I don't need any WiFi signal from the modem since I already have a stronger WiFi transmission being provided by the satellite. Thanks!!
