I had a W31 go bad and got a refurbished replacement. Now I want to send my bad unit in to get refurbished. I can’t find anyone that does that, everybody just sell the “refurbished” units.

I just puchased the sb 6190 last night. It seems to turn off on its own......is this normal?

Hello, I just got a new SBG8300, 2.4G wifi appeared at the beginning, but after changing the SSID and password, it disappeared. I have tried General FAQs: SBG8300: Changing the Wi-Fi Channel (salesforce-sites.com) to change channel to 1,6,11, none works. I did setup 2.4G Security Mode as “Open”,  didn’t work.  Reset didn’t work either.Also, my “Wi-Fi Spectrum Analyzer” doesn’t show any results after scanning, both 2.4G and 5G options. 5G is working very well, just no 2.4G at all. I have saw a few topics here about this 2.4G problem, I guess this might be a defect, not really a channel conflict issue,  do we have a final solution for it now? Thanks!

I cannot get any devices on 5Ghz to Airprint on 2.4Ghz (where the canon printer resides).Airprint on 2.4 is OK. Seems Arris blocks or does let allow zero config to actually work?Advanced → Device Discovery → Zero ConfigWill Arris fix this?  Or has anyone a work around?

After I installed the modem last weekend the even log shows that the modem will not update the firmware.I go to the web page on the modem using the 192.168.100.1 address, no issue.speed has been good, speed test shows 300 to 200mb download.There is no update firmware link, or check for latest updates?I noticed the firmware log shows that it is unable to update firmware. I am replacing my SBG10 after many years of faithful service with SBG8300. How do I deactivate the SMG10?

Cox has no idea why I am not getting their signal from your modem to my computer via the ethernet connected to port 2, or to Google nest connected in Port one. Please help thanks

Xfinity just raised my upload speed from 25 to 100, yet I do not get the higher speed, even after restarting the T25.  Should the T25 be able to support 100 UP?  Is this an Xfinity issue?  As usual, XFinity is brain-dead on this topic.

My modem was reset to factory default settings after losing connection. It’s now back up and running, but I can’t change my wifi name/password. Of course, Safari was the only browser that let me access the router, and I was able to log in, but I keep getting this screen when I log in. The only links that work are for the Arris website (which redirects to CommScope). I have a SBG6700AC which otherwise works fine. Is there another way to access the wireless gateway?

Sparklight tested everything and said was good on their end and that it is our modem.  Anyone have suggestions?

 tried all recommended recycle and reboots still wont connect. Error code keeps showing. My other mesh system connects right away, this new one keeps failing. Please help. Thank you

After factory reset how do I set this up??

The 3rd light from the top (send signal light) is flashing green while the top 2 are solid green. I cannot get any internet connection on any device. How can I fix this? I’ve tried unplugging everything and a hard reset.  

I can’t remember if I set my own password up so I used the preshared key and it isn’t working how can I get in? 

Hello, I have an older SB6141 that came with an old Cox Internet subscription that I still use, I have no problem connecting to my phone or laptops but when I try to connect to my SmartTV it tells me my password is wrong (my password is not wrong). I just purchased a new TV today hoping to alleviate the issue and I’m running into the same problem even through the Google Home setup.What is the problem here? is my router outdated?Thank you for any help or insight.

I want to change the name and password of my internet but every time i got to login it says invalid credential. I typed in the browser the 192.168.0.1 to access the login screen then typed in the “admin” username and “password” password yet it says invalid even though it tells me that I have yet to setup an account. Wondering how I can get in.

I need to add more than 3 satellites to my system.     however, the app won’t let me do that.    Is there a way to work around this?current system consists of a modem (sb8200) wired to w31.  This is then wired to a w30 and this is then wired to another w30.    By “wired”, I mean connected via Ethernet.     The distance is rather long between the satellites and my home is old with lots of interference in the walls.     I have a 4th satellite that I want to add but can’t figure out how.     what about upgrading the modem to a wifi capable one and then moving the satellite that is currently connected to it, to a different location?    I still think I will need 4 satellites…any thoughts?  

First off, my phone says I have connection, but router says I'm not online, no blue light, nothing. My phone, and apps work though. I get connected to my ring device just fine. Now my husband, and daughter, cannot connect at all for 2 days now. I've unplugged from wall, etc., and nada. My ISP said he shows I'm connected. On my settings, where it says I'm connected, has a lock icon, how do I get rid of that? Could it be why my family can't connect? Nope, not savvy with this stuff

Hello. I'm trying to set up the Surfboard W31 router. I'm using Surfboard Central from the Google Play Market (the latest version) for the setup, and my mobile phone is a Samsung S22+. I don't have any problems with the initial setup. However, the Surfboard Central app simply doesn't save the settings, and after exiting, it suggests going through the initial setup again (which would require resetting the router settings). What should I do?Yes, i tried to reboot the phone :) - no luck.

Does the MaxPro also support two separate wireless networks. Most of my devices do just fine with smart connect, but I have one door lock that will only work on 2.4 and will not work with smart connect.Thanks
