There is a problem with this app I can log into the network with every device I have, and SURFboard manager! No problems whatsoever I have tried everything factory reset you name it more than once called customer service. That was a joke. I was told SURFboard® central was an old app. Don’t use it. I don’t think that’s the case. There is an issue with logging into my network and it’s not my issue. It’s the apps issue.

I have my modem (SBG7400AC2) hooked up with an ethernet line/cord right beside my main computer. Works fine. I wanted to run a 2nd ethernet line to another room (approx. 75 feet away) to a wireless router extender to boost strength. When I try it, my main modem router shuts off when I hook up the Wireless router extender. Any help or advice? My modem has 4 ethernet out puts. Do I have to reconfigure something in the wireless router extender to make this work? TIA

I have purchased Blink security cameras. Blink told me to turn off my firewall setting because my WiFi is not connecting. But I’m having issues login into arris after changing my username and password. How do I reset my password?

This is a new ISP, cable modem, and my Internet connection has been intermittently dropping since it was first setup. My new ISP has checked and repaired all my new connections and the neighbors around me are not having any issues with their Internet. Today after three visits I saw what was happening with my output signal level when I lose connection and it increased by 15 t0 20 dbm and in the pas it dropped 5 to 10 dbm when I lost connection. Any ideas on what to do? Is the modem defective or is there any way to stabilize this output fluctuation?

You have claim to have sent a firmware update but my connectivity drops more than ever in the last month. You keep responding to customers that if the service provide claims you (SURFBoard) need to push us a firmware update they do not know what they are doing. This maybe true in some cases but I can assure you that is not the case every time. I have a close CTO friend who indicates that either your firmware update did not provide cross the board solutions or that you keep pushing updates that auto reboot and unfortunately you keep sending them in the middle of my workday. We are unable to check the version of the firmware because your app is junk. It doesn’t remember you if you don't log in all the time and then forces you to start by installing instead of logging in. Then once you start the process you can not get out of it as none of the screens have Xs or back buttons they only have ? in the upper right hand corner. I set up port forwarding for my AirTV and Camera security system. All works fine for a day or so and then stops working. I was rebooting my router to resolve this issue but found that simply turning port forwarding off and then back on solves the problem. It is kind of frustrating that I need to do this on a regular basis. Is this a know issue? Is there a fix on the way? Is there a work around? Any help would be appreciated.

I have an arris g34 and it drops my internet for about 10 seconds every hour or so. I got a loaner arris dg3450 from my isp and it does not have this issue.

When I launch the ARRIS app I get a message that I can’t connect to the wireless gateway. I have a SG7600AC2 device and it’s shown as a supported device. many ideas on how to resolve the issue?

I am on a google pixel it states the manager app is no long available for newer versions of android and the surfboard central app will not recognize my password I set up and won’t allow me to enter email address as username. States it can’t verify or credentials are wrong. I’ve reset the modem approximately 4 times today alone trying to troubleshoot. Maybe add the option to enter email instead of username? I’m not sure what else could be causing it.

About a week ago the Ethernet ports for my SBG7600ac2 stopped working (seemingly without reason). I had a ps5 and pc connected to two ports, came home one day, and they were just not working. The lights on the back weren’t on, and neither my pc nor my PlayStation were showing any sort of connection. WiFi still works fine. I’ve tried going through Xfinity support, turning the modem off/on, trying different ports, and even factory resetting. Not sure what else to do, any ideas?

Hi, I was looking into my SBG10 firewall/firmware and I believe it needs an update. I received a new work laptop and every time I connect my laptop to the wifi the whole wifi/SBG10 just drops (I am on my second new laptop since I thought it was a laptop wifi connection issue). I was able to access the configuration via the web, but it doesn’t give me an option to update. I reset the device multiple times already. The firmware version is 9.1.103AA85. I logged in the Surfboard App. I also logged in the Surfboard Connect App, but it was having issues connecting to the network (no issues with the wifi since all my home devices were connected). I get the error code 0000-1612. How can I find the most recent firmware version for SBG10? I just called Arris customer support and they advised that the service provider (Xfinity in my case) manages and has control of the firmware versions and updates. Is this correct? If so, I’ll have to contact Xfinity. Thank you in advance.

I replaced a sbg8300 that was killed by a power surge a month ago with another sbg8300. I got it up and running, everything was working great. But for the last 2 days all of my devices suddenly lose connectivity to the wifi. When I try to reconnect, the password that was previously saved is gone. I type it in and receive a message saying that the password is incorrect. I know that I'm typing it correctly. I've connected to the router with my laptop via Ethernet cord and signed into the router settings and verified that not only is it the right password, but according to the router both networks are working. This keeps happening and I'm at a loss. My old sbg8300 didn't do this.

We have a SBG8300. When logging into Cisco AnyConnect, It is saying “The VPN connection to the selected secure gateway requires a routable IPv4 physical adapter address. Please move to an IPv4 network and retry the connection or select a different secure gateway.” Not sure if it matters, but this a government laptop. We have another home laptop that also logs into a VPN, but it is commercial company VPN, and with no issues. Suggestions?

We have tried to connect several times tonight and we keep getting “Cannot connect your home network”. We have rebooted several times. We are connected to the wifi on our computer and even on own phones. So I don’t understand what we are doing wrong? I am getting error code: 0000-1613

My modem has all lights solid green but none of my devices have been able to connect to the internet. I've tried power cycling the modem but didn't get anywhere. I've also contacted my ISP and they said that everything was good on their end and there was nothing they could do.
