Wi-Fi Modems

I have a BGW210-700 DSL modem provided by AT&T.I need to configure the unit to port forward messages directed to the unit from the internet to an IP on my Lan. The modem has a static IP. What I would really like is a configuration manual on the device.

My Arris SBG10 is only 26 months old & I am not connected to the Internet. I have reset it, unplugged & replugged it in a different outlet & I don't have ANY lights lit up on the Arris SBG10.I just missed out on the warranty by 2 months. Is it possible that the Arris is shot?

new G34 hooked up today internet and wifi working but when i open surfboard app(yellow) it says “cannot connect to wireless gateway” also idk the login info for the new G34 for the app.  any help is appreciated thank you!

I disabled my Wi-Fi through the get away and now I can’t figure out how to enable it back I used my smart phone to disable it while I’m gone and came back and I can’t get it back up and going my service is through vyve broadband 

Arlo camera connects fine to the SBG7400AC2 and functions fine except for the live streaming aspect, which only last two seconds and stops. I’m thinking there must be a setting for the 2.4 ghz connection that I haven’t set correctly or the live stream would remain connected. 

I have been having connectivity issues with both ethernet and wifi connections via my work laptop for the past few months (after one of my company’s patches). My home PC and all of my smart devices work fine. We (my company’s IT department and myself) have tested many things, but the fact that my cellular hotspot works flawlessly with my company’s laptop, leads us back to my modem/router as the core of the issue. My company’s IT group has suggested that there is possibly a firmware update for my modem/router. I have been unsuccessful find where that would take place. I’ve used the IP address via my home PC AND I tried to use the SBC app (the new one), but it fails to connect to the wifi every time. I’ve used the QR code as well as the WIFI name and password that I set up. I am receiving error code 0000-1614. I also contacted my ISP Spectrum and they told me that because I purchased this modem/router myself instead of using their rented pieces, they cannot update firmwa

I recently purchased a surfboard model G34. I am looking into extenders. There’s are so many different things to boost the signal throughout my home. Previously we had a netgear modem/router combo with an extender when we just plugged into an outlet in the area we needed to extend the signal to. I am having a difficult time finding one like that that would be comparable with our new modem/router. I am finding mesh systems and satellite items. Do any of these have to have the Ethernet plugged in to boost the signal? Or does it just get plugged into power and connected to the signal and placed where we need it? If I have to have Ethernet I would have to have my service provider come out and install that, I really don’t know. We only have one coax cable coming into our home where the modem currently is.

How do I enable an IPv6 on my Arris G36 and connect it to Xbox

After manually restarting the modem, my G36 Intermittently (every 5 or 6 restarts) drops SSID 2.4 and 5.0 username and password. I have to go back to the dashboard and re-enter the WIFI name and password. My ISP is Xfinity. Any help would be appreciated.

Trying to connect new sbg10. Replacing Comcast equipment.  We are plugged in and cable is connected.  Comcast sent signals but when I try to login it says improper password.  This is the password from the quick start guide. Under connecting using mobile device,  it says something about sbg10 activation.  All I have done is plug it in, connect the cable and call comcast.

Hello, I purchased the G34 in December to improve the performance of my Xfinity wifi and it keeps disonnecting while showing it’s connected and 2-3 bars.  My performance is now worse than when using the xfinity router. How can you fix this?SN: [edit: removed personal information]

I was trying to reconnect my Blink security system to my wifi after the electricity had to be turned off at the breaker for work on the house.It kept saying "incorrect password" despite confirming it and typing it in correctly.So I decided to try changing my wifi network password to try the blink again with new wifi credentials. But now when I go to change my password on Arris ..I type in the current then the new and I get an error "current password incorrect" I can see in the app and on the physical modem itself that it is correct. All of our phones amd other devices are able to connect properly with the current password so that confirms that I have the correct password.Why would Arris be saying"incorrect current password"  when i can see that it is indeed the correct current password.(using the web gui because the app itself wasn't updating the password which I've noticed many other users had problems with)

It will get stuck on “configuration file download” and then restarts the entire process. I noticed that the total flash memory available is only 39 MB. A total of 422 MB of 462 MB have been used. I feel like this is the reason it can’t download the config file and then restarts the process. Is there any way to delete the flash memory or am I out of luck and need a new modem?

Tv is working but WiFi isn’t working on iphones

Super excited my G54 will be here in a few days and had a setup question. I will be splitting my network into multiple SSDIs for some devices that will only connect to a 2.4Ghz SSID. but my question is all my other devices will connect to the 5Ghz high band. Is it possible to only broadcast the 2.4Ghz band and the 5Ghz high band. Either hide the 6ghz and 5Ghz low band or disable those two bands? 

I bought SBG8300,  internet is through Xfinity , however Samsung Smart is not able to connect the internet /WIFI. I am not sure what settings needs to do to connect TV to Wifi.

It’s a surfboard g34 and will not connect to the internet

We recently switched to the g54 modem/router. It advertises that the signal will reach 5,000 sq ft, which is why we bought it. We were hoping to avoid a mesh system again.  our house is just under 5,000 sq ft and the modem/router is located around the middle of the house on the main level (our home is 3 levels with the basement). We are having difficulty getting good signals at the corners of the house.  what is our best option for extending signal into the corners?  Do we have to do another mesh system?  Would this mean that we would have to use the bridge mode?  Or is there a way to extend the signal without completely bypassing the g54’s router?   We are not terribly tech savvy so any guidance and product suggestions would be appreciated. 

A new Surfboard SBG6700-AC will not connect to the internet.  Went through setup wizard and did a factory reset.  All front panel lights are steady green except the INTERNET is green FLASHING.  The computer communicates with the modem with 192.168.0.1.  The computer shows “no internet”.What else can be done to get the modem to connect to the Internet?  

Bought sgd 10 Friday. Followed quick start,and nothing. 

Upgraded to the SBG8300 a few weeks ago.  First couple of weeks went flawlessly then started having issue with internet dropping.  Talked to Xfinity, no issues shown on their end.  Did factory reset on the SBG8300, still having intermittent dropping issues.  Power cycling the modem brings everything back online until the next instance (could be hours between occurrences).   Pulled event logs from today’s drop at 9:21  

My Roku express+ and Surfboard G36 disconnect daily.  I have to do a system restart on the Roku to connect to the G36 and this is becoming troublesome.I’m able to connect the Roku to the G36 successfully, however, randomly they stop communicating.  I asked Roku if it was the Roku device and they said no. because the Roku works correctly when I use my iPhone 15 hotspot.Looking around some suggested I make sure the G36 is set up on “b/g/n” and it is in fact set up on “b/g/n/ax” for 2.4 GHz.  The issue has to be with the G36.  It’s new as of December 2023 and that when this issue started.Any thoughts on a solution?
