W30 Not Showing Up in Network

On the Surfboard app my S33 modem shows up under My Network, but my main & satellite W30 routers do not. Internet is working as expected.

surfboard central application

I’ve installed the surfboard central application on my iPhone. This process was laborious as the W31 with satellite was push through the setup…. I would like to also install this same application to my iPAD but have been unable. May attempts heals the same result. Failure. I am not boarding a new W31 router but rather installing the surfboard central application to a second mobile device.  Please help.

Virgin V3 in Modem Mode

I have a Virgin V3 Fibre modem Router, my set up is in Modem Mode and therefore acts as a modem only, during my set up I connected Via WAN Arris to #1 Out Lan on the V3 as it is the only port that has output - everything else is disabled. My connection during setup I chose the Fibre option but looking back it has its own WiFi and I am having a few issues keep going offline (think I should have chose the top one Cable Modem Only) and unable to secure a good Mobile speed check or internet speed check and the Lan connected appliances have no speeds attached, is this normal ? I have a W121 Arris set up.

Denied access

I cant get past the terms and conditions on the app. Keeps saying error access not allowed. How do I solve this?

How to wire and configure wired backhaul satellite

I would like to try ethernet wiring my AX600 satellite. What port do I use on the satellite device and do I need to set it up or will it realize that it is in ethernet?  If I need to set it up, how?  I tried plugging it in to an ethernet cable and it seems to stay on the wireless backhaul.  How do I check the backhaul connection?

How do I connect my mAX router to fiber service?

I am trying to connect my Surfboard mAX units to Verizon FiOS but it doesn’t work. I am replacing their router aspect but it is an all-in-one unit. Is there some configuration changes that need to be made to allow the mAX to connect to the FiOS modem?

How do get my phone to connect to 2.4GHz instead of 5GHz using W31 Router?

Hello all, I have some household devices which will only connect to 2.4GHz wifi. With most that is not an issue but a few require my phone to be on a 2.4GHz network in order to connect the device to my network. My phone connects to the 5GHz by default. Is there a workaround? I don't see a way to steer my phone to the 2.4GHz side.Thanks in advance..

HELP! Buffering!

Netflix keeps buffering! The app says that I have good speeds, it even says that my connection is good for 4K video but Netflix keeps buffering on my TV in my bedroom downstairs.

can you assign the wifi setting to different devices. meaning if I want my iPad to stay on the 5g and no 2.4 we’re do I do that on the app ?

W21 and Surfboard Central Isssues

I was part of the W21 Beta test last year and things have been pretty smooth for the better part of a year.  A few weeks ago, when logging into SBC I got a service not available error and was logged out.  Since then I have not been able to get re connected in the app.  I finally went through the whole process of resetting the base and satellite today and tried to connect using the production SBC app and get past the create network step, and then during device registration it gives a 0000-1506 error saying “something went wrong, your warrant and support registration has failed and we are unable to reach the server.”  Then if I hit continue I get a 0003-1014 message and a “Service is currently not available” message.I am on IOS with the App Store version of the app and do not have the previous phone on which the errors first started occurring.  Currently sitting here with my secured network up but also the Onboarding network which is open.  Any help would be appreciated. Firmware version

Android SURFboard Central - missing parental control - Android, 2022-Summer Update

I updated / refreshed my SURFboard Central app for Android in ~September 2022 and since then there appears to no longer be an option to administer parental controls.  I had set up profiles to enable/disable certain devices to have access to the internet but that is no longer available with this update.  As a parent, I find it useful to enable/disable Wifi for home devices so that my children do not have late hour access.  Where the app used to have a Parental Control menu, there is now this “My Experiences” feature.  I’m sure this is a fine feature, but parental controls are sort of important too, eh? If I’m just plain blind, can you advise where to go for the Parental Controls feature on the new Android app?  If the feature has been removed then why and when will it be reinstated? Firmware: AXR.0610.220518.13App version: 4.0.9Model Name: W21

W21 administration

Is there other way to administer the W21 router without surfboard central app?My surfboard central app is stuck at opening splash screen.If I uninstall/reinstall, it ask me to register again. After registering with the same email, the app stuck once validation code is entered.I have tried deleting the data/ cache and still the same issue.Please help.

I only have a mobile phone that is used as a hot spot for my wireless laptop.  My mobile device is my primary means of communication and I lose signal.  Will a mAX extender help me?

Connecting Switch to AX11000 (W31)

I need to know if I can hook up a Netgear MS108UP (or other  Multi-Gig model) switch to the W31 router. I have 8 wired devices in addition to Wi-Fi devices I need to provide Internet access to.Can’t seem to get a straight answer from any Tech Support [sic] so far, and the Internet searches just provide click bait and junk.The W31 is connected (or will be) to an S33 Modem.Thanks
