Can anybody help me out how to update my modem

I previously had this modem and sparklight 8 m9nths ago and today just activated my sparklight again however the modem is saying no wifi is it my modem or my internet that is not working

I have a several years old Surfboard SB8200 modem attached to Xfinity internet cable and using a Netgear Orbi RPR50 mesh network. All has been working fine during this time with download speeds of around 550 Mbps. Just recently (past 2 weeks) the wifi has been stopping completely for several minutes, then will start up again for a few minutes. This cycle has been happening now constantly. A speed test of the Orbi using their phone app is showing about 40 Mbps download speed, when the internet is working. The Orbi is updated to the latest firmware version. Testing of the internet done by Xfiinity’s automated system shows no issues with their signal. An Xfinity technician came out today and ran tests of the cable coming into my house. Speed test shows the cable is sending out about 1700 Mbps download. When the technician unhooked the Orbi and tested the download speed coming out of the SB8200, it showed a download speed of only 70 Mbps. The technician is suggesting that the SB8200 is

Hello all, I bought this modem to replace my ISP’s modem and thought this would be a great upgrade. From the beginning the Modem worked perfectly, it gave me no issues with the initial setup and It would function in the same exact state it had been setup with as. Unfortunately 5 days ago the modem would show all green lights lit up and stay lit but my Wi-Fi would show no internet. Knowing this I used an ethernet cable plugged straight to my pc in order to circumvent the possibility of my router being the problem. The problem still persisted.The past few days the only way I have been able to connect to the internet was by resetting my modem and router countless times until they would miraculously work. I have contacted my ISP about the issue and have went through two hard resets of the modem in order to try to fix the issue with the help of the ISP to set the correct signal strength. Recent purchased new ARRIS cable modem, It installed with a MAC and I have Windows 11.  How to I correct this?  

New S34 and I performed a factory reset but the Android app never promoted me to change password or have an option to do so.  I tried to connect to the Web console using my wifi and chrome on Android and it doesn't connect.  I currently do not have a laptop to bind via Ethernet.  What good is the app as it doesn't have any functionality when it's up and running. I am about to return this device and go to security solid modems by other vendors. Help.  Ty.

I just connected my modem, activated with spectrum and have full connection to internet on my desktop that is connected via Ethernet. My google WiFi is not getting internet connection and neither is my apple tv ( connected via ethernet). is there a setting for the modem to give internet connection to devices? 

I recently purchased a SB8200 from Target.  I’m unable to log into the web UI at 192.168.100.1.  I initially signed in and set a password, but then couldn’t sign in after setting the password.  I’ve tried resetting to factory defaults, but still can’t sign in. (It says incorrect password.)  I called support and they said the unit is out of warranty, that I’d have to pay $40 for support.  They advised that I email my receipt to support, which I did weeks ago with no response.  Any recommendations on how to resolve these two issues? I’m assuming I’ll be told to factory reset which I’ve tried multiple times, but still can’t sign in using the default: admin/password

Hello. I’m trying to change my wifi password. I’ve been reading the online form to be able to achieve this. However. When I enter requested 192.168.0.1 it doesn’t load 

I keep getting redirected to website 192.168.100.1 to sign in, but every time I go to the website it only shows the Status, Product information and the rest of the website so I’m not able to access my internet.Edit: when accessing the website, it shows Status, Product Information, Event Log, Addresses, Configuration, Help.None of the tabs show where to log in including the Help tab.

I just installed my new iris modem S33 and xfinity is telling me it is not sending enough speed.And they're sending a technician. I'm thinking on returning this, as my 13 year old Motorola did better and it didn't even have the ability for speed. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I'm about to return this product and either install my old one or get a netgear.

My cable service is TDS in Oregon and I am using a stock modem supplied by the provider alongside Asus CT8 Router with two nodes.  I would like to purchase a compatible modem to replace the stock router, and the ARRIS Surfboard S33 seems to be a good choice.  Would this modem be compatible with the Asus mesh and the TDS cable service?  Thanks for your time!

When I open app it says it was made for an older version of android, how do I activate without the app?

After working fine for 6 months, the modem will not power on. I’ve unplugged the power cable twice and have tried the reset button. Also checked all cables, etc.; this is the only component not working. It seems obvious, but is there anything I’ve overlooked?

I have a version 1 sb8200 and I just bought a v3 to see if potentially my 4 to 5 year old modem was starting to fail. When hooking up the new modem it never got any downstream signal or showed more than 1 down or upstream channel at a time in the access page.The isp (optimum) had said they had everything provisioned on their end for the new modem, but it seemingly would never act like it was getting signal to pass internet through. I should mention, when plugging the v1 modem back in it instantly had internet again without it being re-provisioned. I’m wondering if there’s some way to tell that the modem is faulty before returning it if it so happens that my old modem isn’t failing.

My s34 is directly wired to my computer via Ethernet 2.5 port (though I also tried the 1.0 port and the result is the same). I can access the web interface for about 15 seconds after a reboot of the modem, but then I have no access. I need the status page to show my ISP that the drops are due to infrastructure problems (upstream and downstream power), not my home network. I replaced the modem at their request and... Surprise, the problems are not any different with a new modem.I can connect to the IP for the web interface either direct connected or behind my wired ubiquity erx router, but only for the first 15-30 seconds the modem is on. What could be the problem here?To be clear, connectivity is fine when I'm trying to access the web interface.

My internet network isn't showing up as an option to connect. I have Comcast and I have already confirmed with them that there isn't any problems on their end. They recommended that I reach out to my modem manufacturer. I have an sb6193, nothing has been changed preceding the outage. It's been continuous high speed internet for years and all of a sudden nothing. 

I have a new Invizbox VPN router that I have connected to my Arris  SB8200 modem, and I cannot get an internet connection.  I have a Nest router also connected to the modem via the second port , and it has a strong internet connection.  Is the Arris SB8200 incompatible with the Invizbox vpn router? Or is it possible for the Nest router to block the vpn router in some way?  The two routers are not in line with each other, and I would eventually like to have the Nest router run through the Invizbox router, but for now all I am trying to do is get a simple internet connection on the Invizbox router straight from the modem. Any thoughts?

Trying to activate my modem

I just purchased this Arris Surfboard S34 modem from Amazon on September 28, 2024.  Before I connected the modem to the router, I logged into the modem using 192.168.0.1. Once in, I setup my username and password. After COX activated my modem, I connected my PC to the modem using the 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port.  Once my PC was connected to the Internet I can browse any website without any problems. However, there are two issues: 1 - the LED light on the 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port is blinking constantly, and the color is yellow.  2 - I tried to ping the modem using 192.168.0.1. The ping replies with: Request timed out.  Also, if I type the same IP address in any browser, I can’t access the modem. The message: This site can’t be reached.  Please advise.  Thank you.

S33 not working at all, done everything. Has a high pitched noise with solid orange light. Still under warranty but phone and chat support are not available when I check, what do I do? Thanks
