I’ve lost internet at my home and working with my cox provider we did a hard reset on our arris touchstone cm8200. They needed the network password and network id that should have been on the modem but it is not. How do i find that information?

My modem will not provide internet access to either of the two Wi-Fi routers I have tried. The lan cable works with my ps5 so I know internet is coming to the modem. I have netgear routers. I have reset all of them and turned off and turned on all of them. Any other ideas?

I need to set my password/username for the sb8200 modem. I do not have original password/username, and also did a factory reset. But do not know how to change it. Please help. Thanks.

Hi everyone, I have a brand new Arris S33 on Cox Hampton Roads VA Beyond Fast internet Tier 2g down/100mbps up speed package. It is connected to also a brand new Orbi Mesh RBR60 with one additional satellite. Wan cable between the modem/router is connected to the Arris 2.5gb port of course. My speeds tests average around 2300gbps down and 100up consistently 98% percent of the time and all my devices throughout the house apple TV’s, cams, etc work great no buffering. The coax running to the house( RG-11) by Cox are relatively new from the pedestal to the demark and from there to the modem(New RG 6)and great signal readings have been verified by both senior Cox field techs and their supervisors and maintenance and headend techs have indicated everything looks perfect ayt every connection point(I used to work for Cox in tech support and still have some contacts fortunately in field services:) It is also a straight coax run all the way from the street, no splitters, amps etc as we only hav

I just recently purchased the SB8200 because the modem that i was renting through the provider would never let me get more than 350mbps download and 55 upload and that's on a good day, when im paying for 1GB service. I live in a town that is fairly small and almost an hour from any bigger cities. When I started my plan through them they put new cable all the way out to the power line. So I know there's no problems with the line at least that has been found. I am also renting EERO devices for an additional 16$ a month just so i can manage who is on my network and set time limits for the kiddos otherwise I would not be able to receive/modify any of my network settings right?. I feel as if my provider is lying to me that 1GB service is supported in my area. Recently connected Samsung TV using Xfinity internet and lost the connection. It is asking for a password and I don’t know which number on the modem I should be using to reconnect WiFi.

Hello, my SB8200 is dropping intermittently for about a few minutes and then reconnects. I had this same issue last year where I had to get a replacement SB8200. Here is my event log and upstream/downstream. Any ideas about what could be causing the issue? I have sent a ticket to my ISP, but wondering if this is a reoccurring Arris issue? My new SB8200, but its software/firmware says it is a SB6183 DOCSIS 3.0. What is going on! Would I replace it?

Some minimal background for context, I work 3rd shift weekend providing customer support for an operating system vendor. This means that I get to (try to) live through any ISP changes that xFinity/Comcast throws on their victims. About a month ago some change was made and my SB8200 that had been working fine (with a functioning DOCSIS 3.1 indication), so to speak. Performance went to heck and none of the troubleshooting suggestions helped (rebooted several times, factory reset, etc). At the time the modem log had an entry about a failed firmware download and most of the channels had logged both correctable and non-correctable errors. It should have been a hint that the normal address for the SB8200 config pages didn’t respond but 192.168.0.1 connected. Enter Comcast… After the usual foolishness the agent finally tried to ‘look at’ the modem using their tools and that was a total failure. The box loads but the Internet light doesn’t turn on and the second and third lights are blinking on and off.

No light light up. Properly connected to everything, wires secure, i have used it over 2 years. Is there a hard reset? Any advice

I am looking to find out what the latest release and version is for my S33. I would like to know if the one I purchased is up to date. I understand because I own it I cant update it from you nor will my ISP. And dont tell me they auto update it, because they dont. That isn’t the question. I want to know it for my knowledge, and if you wont tell me, why wont you? So, when we think it might be too old we can replace it.

I am having trouble connecting to wifi with my surfboard sb6141 modem. I have xfinity internet connection. They were able to send signal to modem and also reset it. But I cannot see my name wifi name.

With 21 days active up time, I have approx 300 correctables and 21000 uncorrectables per channel on downstream side. Is this what is to be expected with an RFoG fiber type setup or are these happening specifically from my modem to the RFoG adapter on back of house? Also my upload power levels are between 35 and 36.5. Channels 1 and 2 are channel ID 75 and 76 respectively using 2560 KSym/s. Channels 3 and 4 are using channel ID 74 and 73 respectively using 5120 KSym/s. I read that power upload should be closer to 51 and not the approx 35 I have. This is the setup: cablemodem and after that is the injector sending power to the RFoG coax/fiber device on side of house using the coax line. The coax line is direct run with no splitters and all connections are factory spliced provided connections and good splice connections done by provider. The RFoG device is grounded outside and outlet grounded inside.

I have an Arris Wifi Router Modem combo, Model Number DG3450. My 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz wifi connections have the same Name and Password all of a sudden and I need them to be different so I can connect to different devices. When I try to change the name and Password of the 2.5 and 5 ghz Wifi network it gives me an access denied yet I am logged into my router, it just gives me the access denied when i try editing the name or password of ether? How would I fix this, anything helps?

I have an AppleTV and a few computers wired to a switch and then the switch is wired to my base. How can I keep the connections from sleeping even if the connected device goes to sleep (like at night, etc).Sometimes the AppleTv is hard to wake up with the remote
