My SONOS speaker won’t connect to my WI-FI.  MODEM is ARRIS TG1682 which has been discontinued, so is no longer supported.  From Sonos I understand it needs to be reconfigured from 802:11AC to 802:11BGN.  Apparently Sonos has upgraded so previous connection no longer works. Any ideas on how to proceed?

After the beryl storm Comcast had an outage. Service is now restored. Sbg10 won’t fully reboot. The 3rd light won’t come back. Did hard reset and all the other unplug fixes. Still nothing

Hello, I recently got an SB8200 and a Flint 2 router to replace my Xfi gateway. The setup went well and I followed the manual and activated the modem with Xfinity. I went to go run a speed test and the download was 700 mbps, but upload was only 5.9 mbps at most (I have a 500/100 plan). It would never exceed 5.9 mbps, besides when I first run the test, it goes to around 7 but then rapidly drops back to 5.9 mbps. I’ve spent the entire day trying to fix this and I’m completely out of ideas. I tried contacting Xfinity support to see if they are limiting it somehow but their support was just trying to sell me their products for 40 minutes straight. I contacted Arris support and they told me to try to reprovision my modem, which I did, but it didn’t make a difference in my upload speeds. I’m completely out of ideas and I would really appreciate any help or any ideas, thanks in advance.

I have to use a new cable modem and it doesn’t have a Wi-Fi router. Can I use my old G36 only for a Wi-Fi router, not a cable modem?  TIA!!

The model number on my ARRIS modem reads “TG2482A.” Is this the same as SVG2482AC?

I just bought an Arris G36 and am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.5 ; the Canon Mx 532 printer asks for me to press the WPS button when searching for the access point.  There is no button and the app does not have any way to go to WPS.  Do I need a new printer?  I don’t want to go backwards in my security or speed.

The Android app store seems sketchy.  I’m located in Canada.  App SURFboard Central is made by Vantiva USA LLC.  100k downloads but not a single review.  Is this the right app?  And does anybody know if it will support my cable modem?  Looking for a quicker way to make adjustments to my kids ipad connections (shut them off when they’re not listening to me LOL!)

I have just installed the S33 Modem with Xfinity.  I can directly connect to the internet via a wired connection to the modem.The modem, however is not providing a connection to the router.  I have tried several cables.  The router status is telling me that the ISP’s DHCP is not functioning properly.  Xfinity is telling me there is nothing they need to do, but the issue is between the modem and the router.Are there specific DHCP settings that need to be set up either on the modem or the router?  The Asus Router I am using is the GT-AX110000.

After just over a year without issue, I noticed my S33 has started making some high pitch noise after a reboot for the past few weeks.  I checked that it wasn't overheating, and I was still getting nominal performance, and the noise would go away shortly after it connected.However, after noticing much slower data rates today than normal (less than 1/10 my typical rate), I did a reboot of the modem tonight.Now, it won't connect at all to xfinity.  It will flash a single green led then go solid amber for about 10 seconds and repeat with a lot of high pitch noise.  Verified coax and ethernet cables are good.Prior to reboot checked through xfinity that it was connected and no outages.  Verified after attempted reboot via removing power for 30 seconds to the modem that xfinity isn't seeing the modem and no outages in my area.  Have now re-attempted to reboot multiple times with the same result.I finally decided to pull out my old SB6190, figuring I would have to make do with the lower bandw

Where do I go to register my new SBG10?  I suspect I need to do this in order to secure the warranty provided by same.

SB8200 with Xfinity not connecting. Says no IP address

I have started to use ProtonVPN, and would like to know whether or not the Surfboard SVG2482AC supports installing a VPN directly onto it? If so, are there any resources that can walk me, a complete newbie when it comes to networking thru correctly installing and setting it up?

I have an arris surfboard SVG2482AC.  We have new foster children and want to remove unknown devices from our wifi.  Our router says there are 15 connected devices.  I have clicked the x button and added them to the “blocked” list, but they still show as “connected”.  I tried this with an ipad of ours, and it is still fully functional even when added to the “blocked” list.  How can I removed devices from being able to access our router?  Thanks to anyone who can help a new foster dad out!    

I replaced a Netgear cable modem, I have a S33v2 and using the 2.5 GE eathernet port it is connected to an Azus GT-AX11000.  However the ethernet port is blinking yellow, my connected devices via the Asus can get 700+ Mbps, so it seems like it working fine.  But per the manual I would have expect the ethernet port to blink green indicating a 1 GE connection.   A bit confused. thanks in advnace David 

One of my TV's suddenly won't connect to network..I noticed all the IP address's were at zero..I filled them all in except the 'gateway' section.. where's do I find that. And would that prevent my tv from connecting? Using SBR-AC1200 Wi-Fi router
