OPPs, I changed my Surfboard password and all my replies went away. Here’s the deal:I can’t connect to my modem & my modem doesn’t show up on my ROKU “Modem search”It’s the same modem I’ve used before, but a replacement.I tried entering the modem as a private network and entered it’s name and password, but that didn’t work. (my password is all alpha/numeric with no weird stuff). I’ve tried resetting my modem - no help.My ROKU is a model 3930X

I recently purchased a SBG10 Modem / Router.I set up an account at NoIPAfter configuring the DDNS to work with NoIP update service I see no way to confirm that it is working.How would this be done?

Router Gateway Port Forwarding Setup Failure - getting error "Please use only AlphaNumeric Characters"

When trying to setup a Forwarded Port in the Router Gateway Application (login successful and all services functioning and identified), I choose connected device from the “Select a device to add IPv4 and IPv6 address” button… the fields are populated automatically by the Router program, and then I enter the port number in the start and end port boxes, then hit Save…An Alert popup box appears with “Please use only alphanumeric characters”.Even if I populate the boxes with manual keyboard entry, I receive the same result.I have tried to use the mobile phone web GUI version of the Router Gateway, and receive the same result as I have described above (using the Computer CPU to add the new Port Forward service.HELP?!

Warning message on ARRIS - Login

I get the message below on login screen:“The version of Chrome you are using is unsupported. Your Gateway's web interface has been tested to work with the minimum version: 70.0.3538.110.You may proceed with an unsupported version, but you might experience issues using the pages.” SBG8300 was bought 3 weeks ago at BestBuy..My Chrome version is: “Chrome is up to dateVersion 103.0.5060.114 (Official Build) (64-bit)” WHY the silly message?

New SBG8300 connects perfectly to 2 cell phones, 2 laptops and 1 tablet, using the 5G SSID. Canon printer detects the 2.4G SSID as well as the 2.4G Guest SSID, but not the 5G SSID. Please advise if there is a solution for this.ThanksSteve O

It's been a few years since I used my SVG2482AC gateway ...

I talked to Xfinity about activating it, and gave them all the information they need to put it on their network. The modem part seems easy peasy.But I don’t recall what WiFi network name and password I created years ago. Is there a way to reset it to the factory settings? I am out of warranty already so I can’t ask Arris Surfboard for help.

Issues to login to http://192.168.100.1 after bridge mode is enabled by accident on SBG8330 Router

I have SBG8300 router from my ISP. I generally login to their router page to enable wi-fi ( normally it is in disabled mode). By mistake I clicked Bridge mode button though I don’t even know what the bridge mode is. Now I can’t login to the http://192.168.100.1 at all. The browser URL shows https://192.168.100.1/wizard_step1.php and runs for ever. How will I be able to login to router settings. I appreciate any help. internet is working normally. But whatsapp message refresh is taking forever saying “Wiating for this message. This may take a while Learn More “ .

can't activate/connect new SBG8300 through WOW

WOW cable internet can't recognize my Surfboard SBG8300 in order to activate/connect. They keep telling me they can't see it on their end. I'm trying to quit renting their gateway so I know that my coax works fine since I just move it to the new Surfboard. Please help.

Good to unplug router/modem when not in use?

I have a Panoramic Wifi Gateway (Model: TG1682G).I’m wondering if it will damage the router if I unplug it regularly, when I go to work during the day and perhaps at night as well, to save electricity.Also, perhaps someone knows whether the process of booting up the router is very energy-intensive---perhaps to the point that it doesn’t make sense to unplug the router to save electricity.Thanks.

My SBG8300 Ethernet ports stopped working after I put it in bridgemode

I own an SBG8300 but recently bought a new router that provided better Wi-Fi coverage so I put it in bridge mode so I wouldn’t have two Wi-Fi signals broadcasting. When I did that however, I noticed that the ethernet ports stopped working. When I disabled bridge mode from the SBG8300 the ethernet ports started working again. Does anyone know of a work around for this?
