Is the Arris G34 and G56 compatible with the Three WC4T I am using today. I need to update my cable router

I just purchased an ARRIS G34 and set it up. The PC’s seem to access the web, although slowly. However I can’t seem to connect to streaming services, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. They either timeout or I get a no internet connect message. MY provider is SPectrum

I have an HP 140 laser jet wireless printer that I am having trouble connecting to my Arris G34 router network. Can someone help me thru it

I need some help identifying the different devices logged into my system. I can see that I have 7 devices. For example, how do I know which of the 3 phones listed is my iPhone vs my children’s phones? I would like to edit device names and set up parental controls. I have searched and can’t find an easy answer. Thank you!

My g34 was purchased 6 months ago, and for the first 5 months, it has worked flawlessly. Now, I have to reset it daily (sometimes multiple times per day). The internet and wifi completely drop, and the light on the modem/router goes from solid blue to flashing blue or flashing green. When the lights are flashing, there is no internet. I work from home, this is super inconvenient. I have changed the WIFI band, I have tried ethernet cable connection instead of wifi. It’s like the g34 had a built-in detector that knew it was 6 months old so it started to degrade. Also, I have to physically restart it, it doesn’t work if i restart from the admin pannel on 168.1.0.1 it doesnt resolve the issue. Lastly the app on android continues to refuse to connect. Wi-Fi communication failure. error 0000-1612. Every single time. So that is also useless.

I just purchased the G34 and it seems to be limited to 31 devices (based on debugging problems on my network). How many devices are supported? This critical information is not provided on the Arris website or in any documentation that I have found. What modem/routers support more than 31 devices?

I am unable to “find” my guest wi-fi network from my G36 router. It shows that it exists within the Arris SURFboard app on the “My Network” screen, but my Samsung S21-FE cellphone will not show it when scanning for networks – neither does my desktop. This is a recent development, as it has worked in the past. I use this specific network to connect my remote car charger in the garage.

Occasionally the wifi signal would become unavailable and a power cycle would always solves the problem, bringing the wifi back. This was expected and was fine. However, starting yesterday after power cycling the devise would result in the wifi network only being temporarily available and would soon fail. Pressing the reset button on the device did not fix the problem. Each time I power cycle the device the network fails in less time. Is my device broken? Do I have to buy a new one?

How do we check status of replacement modem

My modem keeps dropping WiFi every hour or so and I work from home all day, how do I fix this? Xfinity says its arris and needs update. I have to reboot non stop and causing work delays? Can you push the update! G34 MODEL , AX3000 WiFi 6.

How do I set up a G36? Instructions in the app say to enter a device but G36 is not an option. Is there any customer support? There's no phone numbers.

I had recently purchased and installed a Surfboard G36 for Xfinity service. Earlier I had a older model of Surfboard and connection kept dropping. So, I ended up increasing to 1Gbps service with G36 with a hope of having an uninterrupted network. But it has been terrible even with G36 and I have to restart the modem multiple times in a day. I have the ax3000 and it drops WiFi every couple hours. There is no outage in the area. Past post say there should be an update pushed for using xfinity and nothing since December. I work full time at home and this product isn’t it

Yesterday, suddenly my internet connection was disconnected. I checked with Xfinity. They confirmed there is no outage in my area. I tried power cycling as per Xfinity’s support instructions, I tried factory reset but it not resetting. The light is solid amber (indicating) power, but it does not cycle through any other color. I have scheduled Xfinity technician to visit tomorrow. There is a latest thread on this community which indicates that there is problem with G36 and Xfinity. Arris is going to take longer time to fix it. I own this modem; I have not rented it from Xfinity. My modem is under warranty till 2025. I bought this expensive modem based on recommended list by Xfinity. What are my options now? Will Arris replace my modem? Or I will be left hanging and has to buy another modem (preferably not Arris) as not having internet connection is not an option. Is it sold green and rebooting doesn't work mine. Started Friday

I’m unable to log into the Web Manager to change my WiFi channel via this article. The portal asks for my password, which is shown not only on the Surfboard app on my phone but that I also saved to my password app when I originally set it up. I continue to receive a message “Please login first” after entering the correct username and password. How do I log in?

My modem wont do a hard reset. Or any kinda of rest. It's stuck on sold green. Luckily I have my old modem still. This modem. Not even a year old yet

The G34 modem has lost mimu function after firmware update

Tried to activate my ARRIS G36 with Xfinity but they said my modem was refurbished and that it was still registered to another user. I purchased it at Best Buy and thought it was new. What do I do?

I received an alert email from my ISP flagging a potential security issue. I called to get more information, but they told me that they wouldn’t be able to provide any more info on the source of the alert or any IPs associated with it because I’m not using their special equipment. Instead, they directed me to contact my router provider, stating that they would be ale to access my router and see more information on the event. It sounded like BS to me, but is this true? I have an Arris G34. The logs on the router itself aren’t too helpful. I just bought the arris surfboard g36 for my home, when I first hooked it up I was getting 164 plus upload speed and 164 plus download speed, now I'm down to 5 and under upload and under 3 download speed I contacted my wifi provider and they ran a bunch of test and it's nothing on the providers end I have no clue what to do.
