With the top end modems and routers you have available for gaming if I buy a new one now will I be able to update them to Docsis 4.0 and Wifi 7? Or will I have to buy a new one again when Docsis 4.0 comes out soon?

Why can't you ever get in touch with a live person? Even the artificial Intelligence is always unavailable.

I have been trying to change my WiFi’s name and password. I had success logging in once and changing it but the changes didn't take, I am not sure why. It was saved.  When I tried to login again none of the name or password combinations will work. (Original or new). Not sure where to go from here… 

What’s the best way to dispose of a ARRIS VIP2263 b1. Recycle? but then where? Just don’t want to put it in a landfill. If someone wants it, it’s yours. Just pay for packaging and shipping. 

I am currently a Xfinity customer, and I would like to return my modem to Xfinity and by my own. I am looking for the following, a gateway with a telephone port and mesh compatible, my current speed is 1G. Can anyone make a recommendation? Thank you!.

Hello,We need to know how we go about getting current firmware images for our SB modems.  We are a small CATV provider who uses CASA vccap for a CMTS.  We own our own DOCSIS provisioning system, so we need to add current SB modem firmware to our modem firmware server.  We switched from Touchstone modems to Surfboard modems as Touchstone no longer exists.  we are mostly using SB8200’s and SB8300’s but we do have some other models   CheersCorey

I bought this SBG6580 on ebay and could not get it to work for due to “invalid passcode”.  After hard reset, the default passcode still does not work. How can I get a valid passcode for this to work?

After a recent Xfinity outage I am unable to connect to the internet using my desktop which has an ethernet cable plugged in the back of the modem. I can connect wirelessly on my laptop. I have tried two different desktops, three ethernet cables and all four sockets in the back of the modem. The error message on the computer is that the device does not have a valid IP configuration. I have reset the IPv6 and IPv4 addresses automatically, and also typed them in manually but the computers still cannot identify the modem. Thank you

I’m having a hard time getting my router to connect back to my TV. It says that it has a strong signal but is disconnected from the Internet. Not really sure how to get that fixed. I have connected my hotspot to my TV and that works, but even hard wiring Into the modem is not working 

Hello,I need to cancel an order I placed.Also, it is ridiculous that I have to make a forum post to get support. The support site only allows you to use the contact methods if you have the serial number. I obviously don’t have the serial number because I don’t have the product and don’t want to receive the product. There should be a support number on my order page to get support for the order I placed.

Hi,  The modem is solid blue and says it’s online but I can’t find the WIFI name when looking for WIFI. I called Xfinity and on their end there is nothing wrong with the WIFI connection. So I’m definitely under the impression it’s the modem and some connection with that. I don’t get why my WIFI is not discoverable . I thought it was under Xfinity Mobile WiFi but I can’t login there either.  

I started getting issues since past one month, Xfinity asked to change modem.

My arris Modem has both green lights on, the WiFi is blinking however and my devices recognize the network but can’t connect to internet. I’ve cycled multiple times and reset. Any tips? Been out all day

Recently switched ISP’s, and got new ARRIS modem router.  Have two outdoor security cameras - both SimpliSafe and wireless.Switched ID and password of router to new ones.  Was able to connect one security camera.  Was not asked for password.  Tried connecting other security camera, got asked for password, entered it, and got response that password not correct.  Really strange.

I sell clothes online and I recently returned to school, and I have a ARRIS modem here at school. I was able to connect my label printer during the fall, but I am not able to connect them anymore.

I’ve been charged for not sending in my return, but the unit is still in route and should be delivered tomorrow.  The tracking number is below.  Since I shipped the unit well within the required timeframe and cannot control how long the shipping takes, I expect to receive refund of the money I was charged once the unit arrives - please confirm. Tracking info UPS:1ZHF78959020578454
