SURFboard Central Mobile Application and Services

Using Samsung A52S5G handset I started to notice apps were loading really slowly BBC iPlayer, Amazon,Netflix all the usuals, over Wifi YOUFIBRE 150 Mbps. The handset mobile data would load them instantly. Youfibre live chat had no idea, iPlayer support suggested it was my ISP. Samsung live chat had no idea but tried several fixes. Anyway Youfibre engineer visited today on unrelated matter and I asked him and he had immediate resolution. The Youfibre team had enabled both bands on my NVG578LX. This he said would solve the issue, he reset router to 2ghz only , immeditely all apps are responding as fast as they should be.

I set up my router app with a pervious phone and now am having trouble connecting the app with my previous account. I don’t remember the password or the email I used to set it up. The router still works but I can’t connect to the app. Any way to retrieve the password and account email/username?

Previously the application worked correctly, now it no longer works, I already did a factory reset and I can't get it to work I need a solution

I purchased a new modem/router combo but the old one still appears on my account. How do I delete it? It actually says NEW next to the old one.

I tried the “Enable single SSID” option on my SBG7600AC2 and then realized what it did so I tried to undo it. When I undid it, it forced all devices onto the 2.4GHZ option and even if I connect to the one that is 5.0GHZ on my phone or computer, it says it’s not connected to it through SURFboard Central and also my WiFi sucks now when connected to it. I need it to game and watch streams but now it messed up the quality. (Please don’t mind the WiFi names, it’s an inside joke 😅) (edit: delete image with SSID name)

Seems like the Surfboard Central app picks the wrong device as me and so when I run a speed test from the phone it says I’m running it from my TV which is offline etc. Anyway to fix that ?

I did a dumb and factory reset the mesh max plus router before removing it from surfboard central, now when trying to do the onboarding in the app the router fails every time it gets to the firmware download part. Giving me the above error code and telling me to reboot the router to download the file and if the problem persists, to call customer support. I have tried everything from deleting the app and clearing the cache and data to seeing up a new email in the app. I have also performed another factory reset, compels disconnected everything including the modem from each other and the power and booted up one at a time, following the install instructions for a new router. I am doing this at 1am pdt so can't contact support yet due to their hours. Will attempt when i wake up. This is very frustrating though as i had to perform the first reset because the internet slowed to a crawl and was fine from the modem and a power cycle did not fix the issue

Very frustrating trying to get the modem to work with XFinity. I am about ready to ship this piece of junk back. Spent hours troubleshooting it and still sketchy set up. Right now, trying to use the app and get to the point where it says ‘enter confirmation code’ but the app isn’t sending one. It baffles me why the instructions are not better and being many people use XFinity, should be a no brained. Take my money and produce bad products…

Ok, first of all, this is an app problem. I have an Arris SURFboard SBG7600AC2. (just for reference) Everything works fine except for the app. I get everything setup on the app and i get this... So what is wrong here? I cant get anywhere with this. All i need is to be able to manage the modem through the app. This is far as i get. Please help.

On Surdboard apps, I can’t see the connected devices remotely ( connected to a friends wifi or on cell connection. it only shows the list at home when connected to my own wifi. I ha à iPhone 12 am I missing a configuration ?? my friend has the same cable/router and it works on his android phone !

I attempted to register my SB8200 with arris using mobile app. Kept getting error code 0000-1506 so tried on web site and get message that modem is already registered. How do I determine if indeed it is registered and to whom?

Some client devices will display an IP Address instead of the device name and the device icon does not reflect the device type in the device list. A few factors can happen as the client device is not detected by Internet of Things (IoT), MAC Address is randomized, and iOS devices do not share MAC Address information. I have an Arris modem/router DG3270a that I’m trying to set parental controls on. I’ve logged in and added all the keyword filters and website filters. I’ve checked the box that enables Parental controls, and clicked apply. The parental controls are still not working. What do I need to do next?

Had the Internet peeps come out and they said everything was good to go! Tried to get my Modem/router to get things going and NOTHING!

Are we missing settings you’d like to control? Or maybe you have an awesome idea for new things the app could do for you. Please let us know what sort of features you’d like to see for the app here!

I originally created a profile to block WIFI to our TVs at a certain time. I no longer need the rule and deleted it, but the system is still behaving as if the profile is still there. The system has been reset multiple times, but it’s still behaving the same way. Any ideas?

My 8200 modem is still showing on the app, but neither 6600 main or satellite showing. They were there and I was able to set up the network, but now the app only shows modem. Network still working both wired and wireless??

I am at the very first step in the mobile app setup. It tells me my mobile device does not have internet connection. However it does have internet. I am at an impasse. Error code is 0002-1002. What is going on?

I know my e-mail and password for logging into the router by going into 192.168.1.0 on my browser and that works great. I can do everything I want to do. When I go to use the same login/password on the Surfboard App for my iPhone, it tells me e-mail or password is incorrect? I cannot use the APP at all now. I need way to reset my password on the APP.

My ISP svc rep helped me overcome an installation error on my part (ID-10-T) after I failed to provide the proper ID to my ISP. (Rep was also updating/troubleshooting my overall connection & cabling). The SBG10 now works perfectly. Question: What purpose is the Surfboard Central app now? --When I try to use it, it wants to start the installation of the unit again, which I certainly don’t want to do. App only seems to give me option for initial installation or to choose an option if I’ve already installed used the “legacy app.”

I have a G36, so I downloaded the SURFboard Central app for it, but I'm at an impasse with step 3 of the setup, "select your internet service provider", as my ISP (TDS Telecom) is not an available option to select, nor am I able to add TDS to the list of ISPs for selection. So, I can go no farther. How can I fix or work around this problem?
