What is the best extender to use with a SVG2482AC?

My network is running fine, But surfboard Central app never connects… it either verifies the verification code, and then hangs (looping dots), or, if I exit the app and go back in, it wants to continue on-boarding my device (even though they are running fine) and never connects to them when it is showing the bluetooth symbol on the graphic (same circling dots). have tried two different devices (which both used to work fine, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Both devices are android (phone & tablet) all have latest OS installed, and the app heas been reinstalled using the version in the google play store today.the Arris devices on the mesh are the surfbaord mAx 7800 (W30)…** Update**Ohh after I posted this it finally finished (so I had time to wait, register for an account here, type out all of this etc… over 5 mins) and says bluetooth connection failed (even though it is on on my phone, and my phone is connected to the router) and gave me an error 0014-1202 I also tr

Ran into an issue yesterday when out of nowhere my Router dropped the wifi connection to all my devices.  I went to the step one solution and power cycled the router to see if that would bring back my networks and nothing.   Turns out the router had dropped the custom wireless connections and replaced them with the default network names.  I can access both the 2.4Gz and 5Gz by using the default password on my modem.  My Mac on the other hand cannot connect to the default 2.4Gz, only the 5Gz. Seems like a simple login to the Gateway Modem manager to upgrade the firmware could fix the issues, and let me create my own network names, and passwords again.   But I cannot access the Gateway Manager.  Firefox, Chrome, Edge, and Explorer all block this attempt.  This is both when the router is connected to the coax cable, and when the coax is unplugged.  All of the browsers above give you the "This site cannot be reached" with no option to proceed to unsafe gateway, or anything of that sort. Sa

I have been using Parental Controls successfully.  A few months ago they just stopped working.  I am trying to use Parental Controls to block my child’s access during certain hours.  This is no longer working.  I have also tried to completely block a device.  This has no effect. As an alternative, I tried to download one of your phone apps to manage the device, but I haven’t found one that supports SVG2482AC.  Is there an app that works with this device?

I am having trouble with MAC filter settings. Does anyone have the specifics on how to utilize it. I have a chronic (and capable hacker) in my neighborhood that I need to block. I prefer to use a “White list” for my devices instead of a “Black list” because they can spoof MAC addresses and it would never end.

How can I increase the Wi-Fi speed to my devices from the SBG7400AC2 unit? Connection speed via ethernet is 277 mbps, when testing using WI-FI 62 mbps. Thank you

I have noticed the new version of the app has eliminated the backhaul speed display for the satellite routers. I'm not sure why Arris would do that. Is there a way to monitor the backhaul speed with the new app version? Thanks

I’ve spent a long time trying to get my HP Deskjet 4155e to connect to the WiFi on my Surfboard G34, which can’t seem to find the networks I’ve set up even though I set the printer right next to the gateway.  When I called the HP tech support, they keep telling me to call the ISP and get them to separate the 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz networks, but Spectrum says they can’t do that because I own the modem/router.  What exactly does it mean to separate the 2 different radio networks, and can I do that? So far, I’ve tried turning off the 5Ghz networks, but that hasn’t worked.

Sbg6580 powers on but then the receive light just keeps flashing. I get a message that says “connected but no internet'

I have been having a constant intermittent problem of losing my internet connection. My ISP has been out, twice, and they have found no problem with their service. The one tech said he has seen problems with the Arris Surfboard modems? When I lose the connection, all the lights are still on. 1 green on top and 2 blue in the middle and 1 green on the bottom. The problem comes about every 3-4 days. I can get my internet connection back when the problem arises by rebooting the modem just about all the time. So, why does the internet connection go away in the first place, when all the lights are lite, and why do I have to reboot my modem so often? Certainly would appreciate any help. This problem is annoying and it is not going away.

My Mac’s router won’t connect to my modem

New Surfboard 8200 User. I can access the WebManager fine with a computer plugged directly in. Should I also be able to access it when the computer is going through my switch>router>modem? It doesn’t connect for me.

so i just bought this modem today and activated it with spectrum.  previously i had a CM1000 modem from netgear.  since i’ve switched to this modem, i cannot access 192.168.100.1 unless i connect directly to the modem with my laptop and a lan cable.  before, when i had the other modem, i could access the same address with no problems.  what could be causing this?  when i type in the 192.168.100.1 address, the page just says timed out 

So my original problem was that my internet connection was dropping (Xfinity) so we scheduled a tech to come out for a fix.The initial issue was resolved because it turned out that the line was damaged and the house we moved into had multiple splitters that were causing our signal to "leak" he mentioned that he was surprised that we had a connection at all from how bad it was, he disabled all the other Coax outlets that weren't in use and our issues were fixed for that day.I should note that Prior to this visit we had our Arris SB8200 modem's lights as Blue for downstream. (speeds are 600+mbs Down and 30mbs Up)After his visit the internet went down that night only to return in the morning but the lights on the Modem turned all Green and occasionally flicker (and have remained green) but occasionally it turns Blue for downstream for about 5-10 seconds whilst the connection drops only to return to green again.For ex. any stream/Netflix video/Game that is running will cut out for that tim

Bought a t25 supposedly compatible with optimum, but was used for xfinity.  Optimum could activate it, but no phone ot internet worked

Have a new SB8200 I can log in but as soon as I select any option it goes back to the login screen.  I can’t see logs or get to help.. Please help or I will have to return it to the store
