I have tried to restart and factory restart my device, but the internet button just blinks blue. The machine shows up on my computer but there is no internet.

I am trying to get into the Web manager but the default login information provided in the quick start guide is not working and I did not make an account when I did the initial set up because the app did not let me. So I am unable to login to neither the Web Manager nor the Surfboard app.

I recently had to switch to Xfinity due to where I moved to and ever since I got the internet up and running, I cannot access what are seemingly random websites. For example I can reach google.com, facebook.com, and youtube.com but cannot access twitter.com, wikihow.com and imdb.com. I have factory/hard reset the modem, tried different dns servers, and all kinds of different settings to no avail. This is happening through multiple devices (apple, Samsung, windows based computers) and doesn't matter if it's a webpage or an app. The STRANGEST thing however is that people who are local to the area can visit all the webpages we can't on our wifi with their own devices. I am at my wits end with trying to figure this problem out.

I recently upgraded my Xfinity internet speed but when I tested it, I was receiving low 30 MBPS numbers. I contacted them and advised it was not the tower signal or my modem but asked for me to call Arris and have them “configure” it. When I asked what is it that they meant; provide a code, update the modem, they had no idea. Any suggestions on what I can do? Thank you!

I have an Arris SB8200 modem that has worked well for several years, with no issues. There were some early on, but those were resolved with line repairs by Xfinity. A while back, Xfinity gave me an automatic upgrade to 1200 Mb per second, but I kept my gigabit modem since I was happy with the lower speed. Recently I have had intermittent dropouts on streaming music and video services and the modem reception light that had been blue(Docsys 3.1) is primarily green, with occasional brief attempts to change to blue. Initially xfinity service suggested it was due to upcoming line service in the area. That time has passed, and nothing has changed, so today they told me the problem was incompatibility between their upgraded equipment and my modem. They suggested I rent equipment from Comcast and that would solve the problems. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this kind of issue? Should I have a technician come out and check the lines on my end to determine what else might be

When I try to login using the credentials identified it is not allowing me in. I cannot reset the modem because it was DIFFICULT adding devices to the 2.4 band. How can I find the correct password for 192.168.0.1? I also have been having difficulty adding the Chamberlain My-Q garage opener to the 2.4 bandwidth. Do you have any suggestions for this issue?

Nonresponsive Aris modem. Electric pole took a lightning hit last night. Once everything was repaired outside my arrows surfboard SVG 2482 AC will not power up. Can I get this unit repaired?

Hello Surfboard community! I have a used SVG2482AC Modem that I am using with my Xfinity internet service that I am having trouble setting up. I have setup and registered my modem with Xfinity customer service and I am able to connect to the internet through the modem via ethernet. I setup a Wifi network name and password through the initial Web Manager login page but cannot locate that Wifi network on any device I have (phone, laptop, Xbox). I have been trying to log into the Gateway/Web Manager using the default “admin/password” as many different people/help forums suggested and that combination does not work . I have tried so many combinations and keep getting 5 minute timeouts. I am hoping someone here may know how to help before I try paying money to the Arris customer service support or buying a separate router. The image below is what I see on the login page. My arris s33 has been working fine for along time, I use Xfinity have solid lines until a few weeks ago it started bugging out, it said it was online yet wasn’t. I had to unplug it, it did it again a week after etc. it’s plugged into a cyber power backup battery. Any ideas on what could be going on here? TIA also should I use my warranty if still valid?

SBG8300 connected to LAN, and I get internet with wired connections, but no internet via wireless connections. Reboot doesn’t help for long. Factory reset doesn’t either. Have I got a defective unit?

How can you tell how old ARRIS SB8200 is. Like when was it made. Can you tell from the serial number?

My ARRIS SURFBOARD SG10 Modem no longer lights up or “turns on” when connected to a working power outlet with the correct plug and source following a power outage and xfinity network interruption. I don’t understand if the modem should just be trashed and I purchase another or if there is still hope for troubleshooting. Please send advice!

What is indicated when the lights are blue vs yellow?

I just noticed my new SBG8300 has a setting on Ethernet port 4 to turn on “WAN over Ethernet.” Does this mean I could connect this to a second router (elsewhere in the house) and connect to it as a separate network with internet connection?

Hello, just got the arris ax11000 from Amazon and I'm stuck at the firmware download. Keeps getting stuck with error code 0000-1401.

I have an Arris DG9450 wondering if there is a mobile app for this one? I was unable to find one that included the DG9450. I apologize if there's already a question posed that answers my question. I'm new. I'm sorry I couldn't locate an answer.

Does SB6190 have parent controls? I cant find them on Surfboard Cemtral ap.

I bought the SB6190 router a couple years ago and it’s been working great. However, I recently moved into a new house that has an outdoor security camera, which requires a 2.4 GHz network. The house is also fairly large, so it might be helpful to switch from 5GHz to 2.4GHz given the improved range. Thanks in advance! Ted

I’m able to login to the admin portal of my S33 using a browser but having trouble using SURFboard Central app. On the WELCOME page, I’ve entered my Email ID, agreed to terms and conditions, and when I tap SIGN IN under “Already Registered?”, I’m brought back to the first WELCOME page that asks, “Please enter your email address to access your account”. I enter my Email ID and tap “SIGN IN” and it takes me to the WELCOME page again to create my account or sign in if already registered. I’m on an endless loop.

Is there a situation where signing into a non-broadcasting 5Ghz G36 is not possible? I have my 5GHz access not broadcasting. However, choosing “Other” Wifi in MacOS Ventura and entering the 5GHz SSID information and obtaining a connection has never been a problem until lately. Lately, I have to set the 5GHz to broadcast to sign in. If I revert back to non-broadcast, I then can't sign in. Any insight will be appreciated.

Hi every time I try to refresh the network on the app it just shows me the fing advertisement and then I press later and it doesn't do anything.

I changed my Admin password from the default however i forgot my new username and password is there anyway to reset it?
